See my 2 attachments. I put the Pop-Up property on the form. that worked but still not what I want.
On the HATT attachment do you see how it opens in the middle of the screen? And the other opens at the top right, (and has that tab at the top right that says frmMain)?
how do i made the airwatch open in the middle? like the other screenshot?
Is there a place I can insert a snippet of code to have all the forms come up full screen. Some users think it is annoying that they dont always come up maximized. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have tried to make a login screen, I have also searched for information and tried some of the examples but, I just can't get one to work. Is there someone or somewhere where I can get information on how to build one step by step in simple easy instructions....(access 2003).
Also, how do you get access to open all the windows, tables, queries etc in full screen mode. I have expaneded them and shut it down and then reopened it but they still want to open out of full screen mode.
Thanks, everyone has been a great help in creating my first Access program.
I had the Main Menu open when clicked on access file. I put a autoexc.bat file somewhere. Where? Also how do I get a form to open in full screen again?
Apologies if I am covering old ground here but unfortunately I cannot find a suitable solution after searching the forum.
Basically my switchboard on Open includes DoCmd.Maximize so that the switchboard does indeed open on full screen. However, say I then leave my database open and work on a different application on my PC then when I click on my database on the taskbar then the form is not longer full screen.
So what I am basically asking is, is there a way of 'locking' it to appear full screen even if I flick between applications on my PC?
The opening switchboard of my db is set to popup but on opening the db it is showing full screen. On reopening once closed it pops up. How can I make it popup to start with?
Settings are: Default View - Single Form Auto Centre - Yes Auto Resize - No Border Style - Dialog
We have a button running a SQL query via VBA, how can I make it so the results doesn't show up in a table/preview?Also, I know it's for the SQL forum but how can I make a text box to show the results of a query to display it on screen?
I just imported all of my objects (tables, forms, etc.) into a brand new database file and all of my forms are now full screen instead of the size I set them to in design. What caused this? I can't get them back to their normal size.
I am using Access 2007 but imported files into 2003 .mdb file.
How do I achieve a full screen switchboard display so that the only way to access the (table, query, form...) is by holding the shift button while clicking on the file icon. Thanks!
I have set the switchboard to maximise when opened, when I open any form fand then close it the switch board will not return at full screen, How can I have it maximise every time a form is closed!!!
Hey. My database would like, to make itself feel complete, a rele snazzy opening form. I have flash 8 and I've created a 1024x768 movie with some simple animation on it. I've managed to add the movie to the database as a ActiveX flash object and the animations play. The problem is making the object larger! It's staying very small no matter how I change the properties of the control. Any help would be much appreciated. For the sake of my databases mental health... of course.
To attach the movie I did so: http://www.databasedev.co.uk/flash_movie.html
Is there a way to hide the application title bar (including the min, max and close buttons) as well as the windows taskbar when Access is running? I have seen this done before where the form fills the entire screen - ie no controls or frames are visible.
I am making a manual for work using access to save all the commands we use. I have a drop down box to determine the command. I want to have fields users fill in and system adds to commands and displays output on screen. Example INFO1 and INFO2 would be what person added in a box. I want the output to be able to be copied as full line.
RTRV-T3:INFO1:INFO2:<CTAG>;
I have taken some basic Access and SQL classes. Is there a way to do this in Access.
When the user click the button, then it will give out a popup form to the screen, but I want to make the popup form's height as same as the screen/window/monitor's height, because the popup form's height is larger than the screen's height, and every user's monitor's height is different. So, I have to make it flexiable change of the height of the popup form. How can I check the screen/window height by VBA function? In Excel, it has Application.Height to check. In MS Access Form, I cannot find one for doing that.
I have this splash screen, which welcomes all the users. It has an OK command button that exits the screen, and a checkbox that says "Do not show this screen again". I still do not have the code behind the checkbox. Thus I was wondering if there is a way where I could entirelly close or "get rid" of the splash screen until the user loggs in again. Because right now there is no code behind it, so everybody that checks it and click OK, leaves the screen. But they can still open it, if they select the "splash form".
I am fairly new to Acces 2010.I have two seperate tables hat I need to use to compare data. As you can see table A and table B have some of the same item numbers but they also have different item numbers that are not other table. Also some of the item numbers are duplicated in each table but that is okay because the cost of the item is different. Both tables contain item numbers for the products. I want all of Table A item numbers including the item numbers that are in table B. But I also want Table B item numbers except for the item numbers that are also in Table A. In the real raw data file some of the item number fields are blank but the other fields have values. How should I query these tables so that I achieve the correct results?
Table A Item Num Costof Item Supplier Sales Tax Purchase Month 1234 $1.00 Walmart $2.00 Dec 2013 2222 $4.00 Walmart $1.00 Dec 2013 2222 $2.00 Walmart $1.00 Dec 2013 1276 $3.00 Sams club $1.50 Dec 2013 7898 $5.00 Texaco $5.00 Dec 2013 4567 $3.50 Food Lion $1.00 Dec 2013
I have a monthly system data report I wish to manipulate in Access.
I have created a table to match the 3 fields in the data report; the date, widget ID and number of widgets made.
Widgets are made every day (including weekends and bank holidays) but there will only be a data entry on days where the number of widgets made changes from the previous day ie if Widget ID 33 was made 5 times on 05 Oct, 06 Oct, 07 Oct but on 8 Oct there were 7 made, the data would look like…
Date.................Widget ID..................Number Made 05 Oct ..................33.............................. .5 08 Oct ..................33.............................. .7
I would like to write a query that shows the data for every day, duplicating the data for the previous day in the instance the same number is made. The output should look like..
Date.................Widget ID..................Number Made 05 Oct ..................33.............................. .5 06 Oct ..................33.............................. .5 07 Oct ..................33.............................. .5 08 Oct ..................33.............................. .7
The data is monthly. There are so many different widgets on the report that it’s pretty much guaranteed there will be at least one entry on the first date and the last date in order for a query to find the full date range – as opposed to a user having to manually enter the date range.
Using the example above where the first entry is on 05 Oct it should not be assumed that 01-04 Oct was zero, the query should then look for last entry in the previous month’s data stored in the database (I realise the first time I do this some form of manual adjustment would have to be made as no previous data would exist).
No matter how much I maximize or minimize Access (2010) my tables fill the entire screen. This happened once before but I don't recall the fix. It was something very simple. How to make the table not fill the entire screen?
I have a modal, pop-up Form, that I'm using as a dialog box. But, when it opens, I want it positioned on screen in a certain place, but I'm struggling to work out how to do this. What properties do I need to alter/set, to achieve this?
