Forms :: Option Button Link To Invisible Subform?

I have two option buttons, 1_optn and 2_optn. I have two subforms, 1_frm and 2_frm.
When clicking the little round dot (the option button) for 1_optn, I want the subform 1_frm to become visible. Likewise, when clicking 2_optn, I want the subform 2_frm to become visible. In the properties panel, both forms visibility is set to No.
I have tried creating a Macro and the best I've gotten is using the OpenForm function but that opens up the forms in a new window. I'd set the Macro to the OnClick event for a combo box (as I couldn't get the option button to work) so when "1" is clicked, the form would pop up. But they have to be in the same form. No pop ups. It also has to be an option button, not a combo box or list box.It also has to be a Macro. No Event Procedure coding unfortunately.

Hi,
Asked this one yesterday but I think I must be doing somthing wrong. I have a main form named "Techdata" on this form I have an option group with 2 option buttons. I would like when selecting the first option button for the subform "effectivity" to show up on the main form. When the second button is selected I would like the subform "effectivity single" to show up in the same place where "effectivity" was(would like effectivity to be invisable then).
Can anyone walk me through this from whoa to go as Im havn a lil bitta trouble

I need to have a subform that shows up smack dab in the middle of my main screen when visible - which is what I want - but only based on a specific value of a control on the main form. Specifically, if a control's value is "See Spreadsheet", I want the subform visible front and center as it contains the link to the server location for that specific record. If the control's value is not "See Spreadsheet", I want the form to be invisible.
My code:

The red lines result in an MS VBA error: "Compile error: Method or data member not found."
I've tried referencing that subform a hundred different ways, but I can't get it to work.

I have a form that is linked to a table. The form show an option box that is by default set to off. This option button links to a yes/no field in the table.
I want to allow a user to change the state of the option box from off (no/false) to on (yes/true), but once it is on, it should not allow the user to switch it off.

I'm using option group with value 1 and value 2 with a command button to open two different forms. This is the code:

I would like to close form's option group once clicked the command button after the opening of the requested value form. I tried Docmd.close but all I get is the option group no more working.

Alright I give up. I searched the forums and read up but still not grasping it. I know I've done something like this before but my brain must be dead today.
So I have 4 important tables. I have a main one and 3 tables that have records related to the main one. They're all the "many" sides of the one to many relationship with the main table. Outline is below:
Main Table:
EMP_ID (Primary key)
...and other fields
Employment Table:
HIRE_ID (Primary key)
EMP_ID (for relationship)
...and other fields
Insurance Table:
INS_ID (Primary key)
EMP_ID (for relationship)
...and other fields
Skill Table:
SKILL_ID (Primary key)
EMP_ID (for relationship)
...and other fields
So basically what I'm looking for is to have a main form pop up that has the Main table information (employee info). Then on that form I want 3 command buttons, each one going to a new form that relates to the three tables above and is relative to the Main table. Each employee may have several hire/fire listings, insurance listings (if they change their insurance), and skill ratings (updated as they improve). When I have set all my relationships so that the EMP_ID on the Main table has a one to many relationship with all the EMP_IDs on the other tables. When I create the command buttons though and start to populate a record in one of the three "subforms" the EMP_ID is not populating to be the same as the EMP_ID from the main page thus making me unable to create a record because it doesn't recognize a related record.
What the heck am I doing wrong

I'd like to put a button in a form that when clicked opens an image on the computer, the location of which is already specified in a field called RefImage.
When I change the hyperlink property I can only have the button open a folder or internet address rather than a unique image for each individual record.
If I use the code builder for the event on click and try to write Application.FollowHyperlink RefImage it gives me error message 490 that it Cannot Open the Specified File, but this is probably because I don't know how to write VBA.
Any simple way to make a button on a form open an image in IE or windows image viewer which has a path specified within a field of the form? Perhaps someway to use the Application.FollowHyperlink, clearly I am doing something wrong.

I have set up a group of 3 buttons to select between on my form which works fine.
However I want this to be a bit more visual than it is so Id like to introduce a traffic light system which lights up RED ORANGE or GREEN depending on which one has been checked.
I am not too sure how I would go about achieving this, im not sure if you can import images and hide them or show them depending on the selection or if it requires something further.

I have a form with 2 option buttons on it one with year 12 on it and one with year 13. I have a simple form with drop down menus and text boxes allocated for year 12s and 13s. I want all of the year 13 text boxes and drop down lists to be locked if year 12 is selected and I want all of the year 12 text boxes and drop down lists to be locked if year 13 is selected. I do not want to over complicate the form by hiding parts of it or having a new form open depending on the option button selected.

I have a form with option group (two option buttons) and date fields (to select a date range). The form should pull/pass parameters from the query. There's a form button that generates a report based on the query.
Issue: I can't figure it out how to link option buttons and date range to the query so when the button is clicked it generates the report with chosen criteria. The form is for the user to enter parameters.

I have a main form named as FOTOFILM and a child form named as FOTOFILM_Subform ( Datasheet view, and datasource is a query builted on FotoFilm_table). they don't have relationship but the datasource for both is the same (FotoFilm_table).On the main form FOTOFILM, I have an option group named optChoose and 5 options within. I am creating a database for work. I have a form that has a record of information for a single contact. On that form I have a sub form that will have a series of notes that should be attached to the record that loads.
At the bottom of that form are three buttons. They move from one record to another. I want the notes subform to change when I move to another record.
How do I link the subform to the record loaded on the form.

I have a form (frmAddBeaterToShootDay) with a subform (frmChooseBeaters). I want the subform to show all the records of all the beaters in the contact list, which it does. I then want to be able to tick the box (AddToShootAsBeater) and associate that person with that record on the form (frmAddBeaterToShootDay).
When I go to the next record on the form (frmAddBeaterToShootDay) again I want to show all the beaters on the subform but all the tick boxes in (AddToShootAsBeater) should be blank until I tick the required ones.
I think I should be doing this as a Many to Many relationship which I have done from (tblContacts) (tblShootBeaters) (tblShootDates).
The problem is when I put all three tables in the query I get no results in the subform!

I have a form containing company records. In a subform I have contact records for individuals in each company.
Each of those individuals has a child table for adding contact notes (telephone, email). I want to add a button to the subform to open a new, separate form so I am able to add notes.
I used the wizard to create a link button but I get

I have a form which I use for call logging. I have created a subform which, when a client reference number is selected from a combo box in the main form, the client details appear (address, telephone number blah). It works fine but for purely aesthetic reasons, I want to make this subform invisible and create text fields in the main form bound to the text fields in the subform.
This I know how to do...
...making the subform invisible I do not!
The reason I want to do this is because I can't get the subform to look "nice" on the main form...with bound text fields on the main form I would be able to line them up nicely with existing text fields...
Hope someone can help or at least suggest a better alternative!

I have a subform (in form view) in a form that is used for data entry. When I open the form the subform is blank except for the navigation controls. The navigation controls are disabled though. If I switch to datasheet view I will see the column headers but there won't be any place to type data (no white boxes). This doesn't happen if my master and child fields aren't set up, but obviously that will show the wrong data and create other kinds of entry problems. Right now the tables are empty so that could be part of the problem, but I shouldn't have to manually enter a record so my form will look right.

Hey all,
I am trying to link a option group to a combo box. The combo box has a list of employee names. The option group has two options Active and Inactive. All I want the user to be able to do is check the current status of an employee (as active or inactive) and to be able to change their status. I am having some troubles linking the two together.

I have a form (frmAddManifest) with a subform (subfrmManifestTransporters).
When creating a new record, I can enter data into frmAddManifest, but the subform doesn't update to link with the record - I presume it's because the record from the main form hasn't been completed yet.
Is there a way to requery the form and/or subform so it stays on the record I was working on, and link the subform properly?

I have a database where new products are entered into it. Over time there are revisions that are made to these products and to capture this, a drop down box has been added that allows the user inputting the product to select the current revision number of this product.I also have another form which shows the product serial numbers, and then a bunch of fields relating to revision numbers (a check box for each), this can be used by field technicians who can locate older models and tick off a revision when they have updated a product to this specification.
What I am hoping to do is that when the user initially enters in a product and selects the revision number of it, the other form will automatically update (the check boxes) up to and including this revision... so for example if a product is being entered and is up to revision 5 - the check boxes under this serial number on the 'revision' form will all be checked automatically (Revision 1, Revision 2, Revision 3, Revision 4, and Revision 5 check boxes).

I have a suppliers table and a products table. Two forms, Stock form with combobox to list Suppliers and a sub form with combobox that lists Products.I want to select a supplier from the Stock form and then the combobox in the subform to only list products directly sold by the Supplier.Have dabbled in SQL as follows:
