I have a form and subform. The subform is connected to the form and display all BandID's associated with that record. What i want is the ability to click on a record in the subform so that it automatically set's that record in the form for editing.
I have a form called GetdataFrm. Within it i have a combo box that filter a query. When the combo filters, it populates a continuous subform called GetDataQrysubform. GetDataQrysubform look like a table that contains this Jobcode information:
EmployeeID Jobcode CardAccess Folders Software
When I filter the GetDataFrm form, I want to be able to click on a Employee's EmployeeID number from a single record in GetDataQrysubform and then a form called SingleRefrm would pop up taking me to that record.So far I have a event procedure coded to open up SingleRefrm, when the EmployeeID field is clicked but its not working. The code looks like this:
I have a mainform named EMA and a subform named Q_EMO. In the mainform there is one event related to a patient.In the subform Q_EMO there are all the events releted to the patient.I would like to get a record in the mainform EMA when I double click in the record of the subform.

My form loads perfectly on double click event but it shows the first record instead of selected record.
My search is based on a PersonID but each PersonID has different WorkID that I wish to display on double click but it always shows the first WorkID instead of my selected record
I have tried changing the filters in the form properties but it still doesn't work for me.

I have been looking for days on the net for my listbox problem. It is there and found a few, even on this forum. but when i try the solutions mentioned i am in a total loss and do not know what to change to make it work for me.
I have a form named A/B Retriever with a record source qry input AB Bins Than i have a unbound combobox with row source qry input AB Bins. This populates 8 textboxes with B through I carton boxes, stored in a bin. The user selects a Bin location from the combobox and can put a "x" in a textbox to illustrate that the box is empty. This works perfect.
Underneath the input bin and box part i have 8 listboxes that shows a query that has counted the empty boxes with the corresponding bin location. this also works. but the question from users where, If i click on a, lets say empty B-box at Bin location 12A20, they want the combobox automatically focus on the combobox with the corresponding Bin location. This is a quick way for them to delete a empty box (remove the X).
I want to Double-Click on a row of a subform to open a related table/form that are connected with a common ID. So far, I tried the following code, but it does not work.

I have a Project form, which holds StockArtProduction_Subform in datasheet view. I need for them to be able to click on the ID in the StockArtProduction_Subform datasheet and it open a single view form (StockArtProduction) with the correlating ID.
Ideally, it would also work for new entries in the StockArtProduction_Subform, but the StockArtProduction form would have to "auto populate" (did I use it right?) with the ID of the currently open Project form.
I have an IIF function specified on a continuous sub-form as below - basically it checks to see if the value of two text boxes is equal, and if they are it displays 'And', if not it displays the value of the column EntitlementName. I'm trying to work around grouping not working in continuous forms.
When I view the form directly it works no problems but when I view the form as a sub-form instead of showing the correct output it shows #Name? Both the text boxes I refer to have the correct values in them.

I have two unbound unlinked subforms residing on a 3rd unbound main form. When I enter the current record on Subform1 I would like the matching record(s) on Subform2 to be highlighted or otherwise formatted. I have a cascading combo box working fabulously in a form. However when I embed that form into another form, the cascading combo boxes quit working. After doing some searching around on the web I think my issue is either in the query that the dependent combo box references and/or in the "after update event procedure" but I just can't seem to figure out the exact changes to make to my database. Details:

When the form with the combo boxes is embedded as above, I can select the species type from the dropdown but when I try to select the species common name value I am asked to
"enter parameter value - Forms!SUBFORM2a - Enter Specific Veg Info!cmbSpecies_Type".
I have a form and a subform in it. I added New cancel button in the form so that the the user can cancel the record creation and no record will be inserted in the parent table.
But when details are entered in the subform (a datasheet) row records will be created in the subform table. what is the correct method or how to cancel these records if the user choose to click cancel button on the parent form.

The debugger keeps highlighting the row above shown in red. I've used this same code before on other forms and it worked but not sure why it isn't working this time. The only difference with this form and previous ones is that this form contains a multiple values combo checkbox (hope that's the correct term). The query that the report is based on changed the names of the field names so that TransmittalID on the form is TBLTransmittal.TransmittalID in the query.
I've tried the code with and without the extended name but each time the "Do.Cmd..." is highlighted.
I'm calling a Public Click event on a Form, from a Delete Record button on another form. Debugging shows that the code executes correctly line for line... but the 'Event' doesn't function as it should. The main feature I need to to iterate over the controls on the second form to disable them, to prevent users from typing in, causing relationship error. Why is this?! Even after the execution of the code... I can click on the refresh button myself, which will disable the control, but not if I call the event from the code.

I have two command buttons in a subform "sbfScoutRegDetails", one that launches a report and the other attaches the report pdf to an email, associated with the record ID when clicked.
Both of these buttons work fine when just the subform itself is open, but when viewing it in its main form, I get a window saying 'enter parameter value' for "Forms!sbfScoutRegDetails!ID" (this is the WHERE condition in the macro).The report then opens with all the record information blank.The full WHERE condition

Not sure if it's because of using a continuous form as a subform? I need the user to be able to view/print or email a contract to each group/contact that signs up.
I have a Contacts subform and would like to be able to double click to fill addresses, and details from the previous row...every person in our database even those living at the same address needs thier own record.. and since we only need to fill up to 5 records and review them, double clicking on the first name to fill up the next row with the previous addres phone number ect would be grand.
I am assuming we could fill out the new Full Name and double click on it to get the previous record filled to the new one. Don't really want to work with a query unless needed, but I have a little vba understanding.. how do I code this to make it work?
I have created a Datasheet Form which when opens shows lots of records. I was looking to see if there was a way that if i clicked on a specific field name within a record it would open a new form with all the information of that record only.
I would like to select a record on an already open form called "form_candidates" using a search facility but can't get it to work.
In "form_candidates" the data settings are set to "yes" (filters/edits/deletions/additions) and data entry is set to "no". On opening, the form is set to go to a new record.
In this form I have a button that opens a record search form so both forms are now open. I enter the first few letters of the surname into a text box, press a button and the listbox is populated.
In the doubleclick event of the list box I have the following code:

So I double click on the record, the candidate form is being filtered but the record isn't being shown.
I have a attached a sample database to show you my problem the form "stores1" is the navigation form . in side that I have 2 subforms.
the first form I have a macro in it that when you double click it ( say the first line ) the stocklist file will appear on the part that I double clicked on IE 5096B02066 this did work and does work in the old access I have but now I put these forms into the navigation form I cannot get it to work,

I have a form where the control source of several text box fields includes a function that looks up values in a table that is not the form's record source. The default value in the property for these fields is set to 0. Unfortunately, when I migrate to a new record, these fields display the dreaded #Error. I'm trying to cover my bases to ensure that the displayed value of the field shows 0 rather than #Error.I even tried including a breakpoint at the first line of code in the function and it is never even triggered when I move to a new record.As soon as I type the first letter/number in a field that is tied to the form's record source, all of these display values do change to 0 appropriately.
I currently have a database where new records can be entered in a "New Part" Form and Records can be viewed(but not altered) in a "Part Search" Form. The forms are the same except one is allowed to edit. I have also created another form where I am trying to search the "Part Search" Form via a tracking number. I want to have a text box where users enter a tracking number then click the button to take them to the record on the "Part Search" Form.
I have some code like this that sets some fields up to be disabled when the form loads, then enables them when a combo box ('Type') is selected to 'Instrument'. This works fine as far as it goes, but if the user has selected 'Instrument' and then goes to a new record, the fields remain enabled.
