Query Name : db_InvoiceSet
Reports :
1st Report : Report_Inv1
2nd Report : Report_Inv2
3rd Report : Report_Inv3
All Reports based on Single db_InvoiceSet due to some cross and different manipulation of data for different office department
So, I need is:
Open All Reports in Print Preview Mode with Single Click of Button in Form INVOICECreate
I have a Project form, which holds StockArtProduction_Subform in datasheet view. I need for them to be able to click on the ID in the StockArtProduction_Subform datasheet and it open a single view form (StockArtProduction) with the correlating ID.
Ideally, it would also work for new entries in the StockArtProduction_Subform, but the StockArtProduction form would have to "auto populate" (did I use it right?) with the ID of the currently open Project form.
I have a database of high-school football players, and I am looking to print out single page reports (or forms) that will show detail from several tables and queries. This will act as their resume when they visit schools on recruiting visits. The reason for needing query items, is that I have developed queries that return the most up to date height, weight, 40 time etc., and that single most up to date number is what should print, not the entire table. When I try to build a report it will let me bring in multiple tables, but not queries.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently have a button that opens a report. the report pulls from a query that has parameters set to "fromdate" and "todate". instead of using dates and parameters that pop up as blank text boxes, I would like to click the button, have a form pop up with a combo box to select all of the options available (currently 23 options) and then click a button to make a report that only displays the record (1-23) selected. I do not need any time constraints because as the databases get updated with more records, there would be more than 23 options to choose from.

In ContactIDForm it contain 1 textbox name 'TextBox' with Button Name 'Btn'
In ContactIDForm there is only 1 Text Box ContactIDTextBox and 1 Button. User Enters ID in TextBox and On Button Click Event it should check data from TextBox in Table name (ContactDetailTable) in field ContactID and if there is record matching, ContactInfoForm should Open else NewContactForm should open with ContactIDTextBox value in it.
I have a continuous form that displays all my customers .I want to be able to dble click a customers ID and go to there customer details form.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a text box on my form which I use to attach hyperlinks to pdf's, this works great but after inserting a hyperlink nothing is displayed in the text box to show it has been linked unlike using attachment, the only way I know if that a hyperlink is placed is to right click and go to hyperlink and then open, is there a way to show the link on the text box and just double click on it to open the pdf. I am trying this as the size of the database will far exceed the 2gb that access allows if I just use attachments , even if I split the database (over 10000 pdfs )

I have a subform 2SiteList (Datasheet View) with the field SiteName... i also have another form SiteDetails.
if possible i would like to be able to double click on a SiteName on the subform and have the SiteDetails form to open to show the full details.
I have a small database I am building to log and record Calibration Details Of thermometers etc. I have several table that are related, no probs so far.
However I am struggling with forms and reports that use data from the asset table more than once. IE. I have a calibration unit (this is an asset as this also needs calibrated ) that I use to test the thermometers (These Are Assets) but this is also in the same asset table as the thermometers. I need to reference the Calibration unit and the thermometer or whatever item I am testing on the same form or report. I seem to have got round the form problem but i am stuck on the report as access keeps linking to only one item, how do I make it link to 2 items on the same table on the one report.
I currently have a form with a button that once clicked displays a word document,however I have to double click on the button even though the code is on the single click event property.The only line of code is as follows

I am trying to create a proposal log for my company to make things easier to track. I have made a multiple items form to list the proposals. I want to be able to double click the record to open up another form (that i have already created) that shows the information from the proposal table and the proposal details table. So.....

I can figure out how to capture the event each time the form or report is opened and update a record to increase the count, and build a recordset that will query the table filtering by user and order by frequency...
However, I am stuck on building the hyperlinks that will point to the correct form or reports dynamically.
Specifically, I am not able to update the subaddress using VBA. I get an error that the hyperlink cannot follow to the new form...

There should be a simple solution to this.
I have two fields with numbers in them ( dollars ).
I run a make-table query to add a third field that will show the sum of the two fields and my results in the third field are wrong.
Whenever there is a blank in the second field the third field shows a blank as well.
like this:
(Field 1 ) ( Field 2 ) (Field 3 = Field 1 + Field 2)

my fields have the same data type and formatting so I don't understand where the problem is?
I have one table with 1Milllion records.
I have another table with same column headings with 260 thousand records.
Microsoft Access gives me an error when trying to append these two tables together into one big one.
How can I resolve this issue?
I have created a database where I store my ebooks.
Therefore, let's assume that in the field "Title" there is an entry called "cooking.pdf". The file is physically stored, let's say at C:MyEbookscooking.pdf
I created a query where I get the records of the table (all or filtered) and I added a field where I wrote 'Link to Open: "C:MyEbooks"+[title] where title is the name of the field in the table, where the filename is stored.
Then I created a Form which represents the query's fields. On the properties of that last field I changed at the bottom the Boolean parameter 'Is Hyperlink' to Yes.
I assumed that by clicking on that field I will have the book opened automatically for me. Alas, it doesn't work...
I guess, it needs some piece of code, maybe in Visual Basic, which is the lang that Office is using. It's not my strenght though...
Any ideas on how to achieve this (maybe a button with a code)

Currently I am using Command Button with the names of the tables as the trigger. Looking for VBA that would change the form's Record Source to a selected table and add all the fields of that table to the form on open. I figured that I can use the OpenArgs to get the form Record Source to be assigned, but how do I assign all the fields of the table to be dropped into the form?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have Two fields with DateWorked and EmployeeNumber. All I want to do is count the number of employees that worked on a specific date. In the employee numbers I have 4 dummy numbers that I don't want to count in my query (00001-00004), but will have entries almost each day. The rest are 5 digit numbers.
Some employee will work some days, but not others.
So I set up my query with:
EmployeeNumber
Table
Total: Count
Criteria: >4
I did that think that it would count all employee numbers great than four, but all it seems to do is give me the count of days that more than 4 employees worked.
What am I doing wrong? I feel like this is simple, but after some of the more complex things I've done over the past week, this seemingly "easy" thing has me stumped.
greetings all..i have tried to use an old database template i had and re-work it for my new client..basically the user types a ref no into a search box.. there is a text list that is narrowed down to the chosen item as they user types..then they double click on the item in the list and it opens in the main form..this is how it should work.. i think im pretty close but im gettin a few problems.. i would be very grateful if someone could have a look at it...the form i want all this to happen on is called MAINFORM.. the database is very simple.. one table.. one query.. thats it..thanks..
