MSCAL.Calendar.7 Not Displaying Numbers

Hi.
I have inherited a diary system in access 2003 from our previous IT manager, it has a calendar which displays they days of the month and this works fine on most of the computers on the network. The problem I am having is that on a couple of the computers it does not display the numbers for the days but instead displays full stops!
Can anybody explain why and give a fix for this please? I'm guessing it may be something to do with OLE control options on that particular machine but haven't a clue where to start looking.

Does anybody know if MSCAL.Calendar.7 can be set so that Sunday shows as the first day of the week instead of Monday.My company uses a timesheet with a week begginning on Sunday.

I have a subform that users enter in Dates of the month and how many people attending specific functions. I dont want the users to have enter in all the Dates for each month I just want them to enter in the number of people attended. How can I do that on my subform called TrainingTanfTrainig. the Table is called Training_tbl thats a child table of the SpecialEvents_tbl.

I have three fields in a database with phone numbers. They all appear to be set up the same. They all display the phone number format (xxx) xxx-xxxx when data is entered. One of them looks like a phone number in tables, forms and queries. The other two display as a 10 digit number.

I have a list of publishers for software titles in a table.
1=Adobe
2=Macromedia
and so on and so forth.
I have a form that pulls the publisher name and displays it, and it used to display correctly with the NAME but now all of a sudden it's displaying the publisher number "1" instead of "Adobe"
what's going on?

I have recently started learning to use Access and all is going very well except for the date. As can be seen from the images below I have set up my date function correctly in Control Panel and everywhere I use a date it is displayed correctly. In Access however numbers are added which I cannot figure where they are coming from and don't want them there. In the second image you can see what the various Format options look like. When long format is used in a Form or Report it displays those additional figure. I cannot get 2015 to display but get 15316 or similar instead.

Hi All
I have added the Allen Browne Calendar 2k control to my form.
My form consists of 4 pages. On pages 2 and 3 I have subforms and on page 4 I have Personal data. Page 1 is general data and the Calendar is on Page 1.
What is happening is that the Calendar is also being displayed on my 4th page, in the same position as page 1. When I try to move it, cover it or delete it from page 4, it is also gone from page 1.
Any suggestions please?

I'm having multiple problems with my database like things such as -
i'm currently working on the Query 2 - On the Phone database (ignore Query 1) and i want to search for multiple plot numbers preferably in one parameter prompt with a comma to seperate numbers. (this could be a multitude of numbers so i would like to be able to input as many as needed). Also when i do search on this query since the Criteria is a 'Between' Value i would expect everything between the 2 numbers input to show up - but a lot of numbers out of the range show up too - why is this? (The Numbers are like "69 to 136" and they will show up - but 1-69 and 136-170 would too
I would also like to implement the search results from Query 2 into the Form i currently have made but it just opens up a access table when the search is made?
i cannot link my database as it is too big for the server - But here are the Criteria for Query 2:
Plot No - (criteria = Between [Enter First Plot No:] And [Enter Last Plot No:])
Site - (criteria = Like "*" & [Enter Site:] & "*")
Product - (criteria = Like "*" & [Enter Product:] & "*"
The Query is the one im most concerned about , i can live without a form.

Ok so in excel I have some numbers that are stored as text. The reason being that they are zip codes and some begin with 0 and excel doesn't want numbers to start with 0....so when I import these into an access field that has an input mask for zip codes...will it convert these correctly since the field is a text with input mask?

I have 2 fields that I would like to automate if possible
One field is called "p/o number" and another field called "line no"
These fields are part of an ordering database
Let say I have 200 items to purchase form 10 suppliers
And form example 20 items from each supplier
What I do at present is put the order number on each line item and the line number
example
p/o number line no
1 1
1 2
1 3
2 1
2 2
2 3
2 4
What I want to do is just put the first po number in the required line . Put the first line number in i.e. "1" and the macro will complete all the p/o numbers and line numbers for me as per the ones marked in red.

I have a table with fields like this one but the weeks go all the way up to 52. What I am trying to do is count the number of consecutive zeros and if it is more than five, count how many of the following fields have a number in them and if that number is less than the number of zeros preceding it identify that person.
For example Joe would be identified below because he had 6 consecutive zeros and then he had 5 weeks of numbers immediately following the string of zeros. Bob would not be identified because he had 5 consecutive zeros and then 5 sets of numbers immediately following the string of zeros so the zero frequency isnt higher than the number frequency immediately following.

Using an activeX calendar. I have 2 questions.
1) Is it possible to have certain dates always highlighted in the calendar so the user can clearly see these dates. What I'm looking for specifically is to have each second thursday always highlighted with another color.
2) Using a seperate form and calendar than the one above, how would I go about using a calendar to search for old records (apply a query to it maybe, but how would I do that?) so that when I click on a date, the records for that specific date are opened.
I really appreciate any help that anyone can offer with either question. If you leave an answer in code, can you please clearly define what you named each item that I may need to replace, i.e. Calendar, Date, etc., because I'm not incredibly familar with using code.

I am trying to use a calendar to fill the date box on a simple form, I have used the examples from various threads on here but I cannot get the calendar to pop up.
The error message I get is
Run Time Error 2110
Microsoft Access cant move the focus to the control activeXCt161
Any thoughts on how I can fix the problem?

Hello,
I have seen pop up calendars in use in other databases and wondered if it was possible to put one into my current DB. (The standard little Microsoft style one).
Rather than using a direct entry date field in my form how do I go about adding in a pop up calendar. Can this be done easily?

Hi all.
I'm trying tosetup a pop up calendar in my Access Database for users to select start and finish dates of activities. I have a calendar from here: http://www.utteraccess.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=codearchive&Number=413286
Here is my problem, When I run the database "Calender2000" it works fine. The calendar is displayed, but when I import the database (using get external data), and try running the calander, I get the following error:
"The expression you entered has a function name that Microsoft Office Access can't find.@."
I am fairly new to Access, and currently using Access 2007. Any help appreciated (I can follow instructions in Access 2003 format).

I am getting myself into knots trying to solve this can anyone help:
I need a calender so that the user can book and check availability of courses for each date. ie course 1 has 5 places on this date, once one is booked then there should be 4 places left.
Does anyone know if there is a graphical form available which I can use for this function and serve the dual purpose of data entry?

Hi, I have find this calendar, wich is great for me as my ACCESS program is in italian and all calendars I have find gives me back date and month values in italian, this one I can set it either italian or english!!!
What I need is to make it visible on double clicking on the date on a form and once opened selecting the dae on the calendar it returns the value onto my date field on the form.

Hi,
I've created a database to keep track of schedules, and have created a report that displays like a calendar.
Similar to Pat's example here

What I would like to do now, is create a DAP that will display in a similar format. But because the report uses subreports, it doesn't just tranfer over.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to create a simlar calendar format, within a DAP?
We want to use this on our intranet, so everyone can see each others schedules, and this is the only thing left I have to do. I just can't seem to get anything to work.
