Modules & VBA :: Access Calendar Icon Appears All Over The Place?

Sep 14, 2013

I have migrated an A2003 application to A2013 and in one of the A2013 forms I get a calendar icon appear all ove the place.

I uploaded a short video at

[URL]

When the form opens (shows dentist appointments by chair) the icon appears that the very top in Chair 1. I can add a patient, no problem.

When I click on an appointment in Chair 2, the icon appears in the last clicked appointment on Chair 1. When I then click on Chair 1 the icon appears on the last clicked appointment on Chair 2.There is no problem with the A2003 version. I DO NOT use the Calendar icon in my application or any third party software.

General :: Calendar Icon In Textbox To Populate Chosen Date

Oct 14, 2013

I have started converting our Access 2003 to Access 2010 applications. In the past we have used the Calendar to pick a date to place in a textbox. I noticed that this feature will not work in Access 2010.

So I looked around and saw several references to using the calendar pick feature to a textbox...but without success.

How to have a textbox with a calendar icon next to it to populate the chosen date in the textbox?

Modules & VBA :: Add Appointment To Shared Outlook Calendar Using Access

Aug 19, 2014

I am very new to VBA. I found some code that will allow me to add an appointment to my personal calendar with using access VBA and it works great. It also allows me to add an appointment to another calendar created under "My Calendars" folder.

I wanted to know how to change the code in order to add the appointment to the SHARED calendar instead.

The main folder is called "Shared Calendars" which is at the same level as the default "My Calendars" folder. Under the "Shared Calendars" folder the calendar is called "Tester".

Here is the code im using at the moment: I believe I have have to change the line of code that is in red but I don't know how.

Private Sub cmdAddAppt_Click()
On Error GoTo cmdAddAppt_Err
Dim outobj As Outlook.Application
Dim outappt As Outlook.AppointmentItem
Dim olNS As Outlook.NameSpace

[Code] ....

Modules & VBA :: How To Get Access To Make Appointment To A Specific Calendar On Outlook

Dec 4, 2014

I have been able to successfully set up code to be able to add appointments to microsoft outlook based on data within a few forms that I have. My question is this however, how do I get access to make that appointment to a specific calendar on outlook. This calendar is a shared calendar. Currently, access is just adding the appointments to "My Calendar" and I could like it to place the appointment on "HVCalendar". a version of the code I found online is listed below:

Private Sub btnaddappttooutlook_Click()
'On Error GoTo ErrHandle

Dim olNS As Object
Dim olApptFldr As Object

' Save the Current Record
If Me.Dirty Then Me.Dirty = False

Modules & VBA :: OnLoad Event To Change Icon Of The Form

Sep 26, 2014

I currently use code in a module and code on each form in the on_load event to change the icon of the form.. the code i use is as follows..

in a module:

Code:
Private Declare PtrSafe Function GetSystemMetrics Lib "user32" (ByVal nIndex As Long) As Long
Private Const WM_SETICON = &H80
Private Const IMAGE_ICON = 1
Private Const LR_LOADFROMFILE = &H10
Private Const SM_CXSMICON As Long = 49
Private Const SM_CYSMICON As Long = 50

[Code] ....

And on each form on load:

Code:
SetFormIcon Me.hWnd, "k: est directoryhsicon.ico"

What I am wondering is would it be possible to store the .ico file within the DB file itself (i know access can store bitmaps) and reference the .ico in the form load event code?

Overtime the db file will probably move to its own dedicated storage so using a direct reference to the file wont work..

I have tried the following but get an error (it tries to reference the .ico file as to being in the root directory of the db file)

Code:
SetFormIcon Me.hWnd, Left(CurrentDb.Name, Len(CurrentDb.Name) - Len(Dir(CurrentDb.Name))) & "hsicon.ico"

Mar 12, 2014

I have created a Asset database using MS Access 2010 & the same was published in SharePoint portal. Post publishing, all the "Query & Forms" are working as excepted but the "Reports" are not working.

The "Reports" is designed with "Group & Sort" option. Post grouping am able to see the "=Sum([Expression])" (i.e. Sum of the Value) value in MS Access Locally but not in SharePoint. Once i published in SharePoint, am getting "#Error" message for all the below expression wherever i have used in my reports design.

Modules & VBA :: Place Heading In First Or Second Row In Word Doc

Sep 30, 2013

I have below vba code in a sub that opens word application and generates the data from a table based on criteria provided thru a form.

These lines are smoothly working..

But I need to place some headings in first line or second line of the document and then to start the table information to appear in the doc.

I tried to place my company name below way (see bold lines);

Dim db As DAO.Database
Dim rs As DAO.Recordset
Dim I As Integer

Set db = CurrentDb()
Set rs = db.OpenRecordset("SELECT * FROM T_CustomerMaster WHERE SALESMANCODE='" & Forms!F_ReportMaster!TxtRepCode & "' order by custcode;")

WordSetup

doc.Tables.Add Range:=doc.Range, numrows:=1, numcolumns:=5
'Trying to place main heading
'doc.Range(1, 0).Text = "fsdafds"

[Code] ....

But the table starting from column 1 and cell 1 till data ends up.

Finally I converted my trial lines to remark as it is not working at all.

When a value is 360.64 is fine, but when it's something that ends with a 0 (360.60) - is loses the 0 giving me 360.6.

Way To Place Greater Than And Less Than Parameters Within Vba Access?

Mar 19, 2012

Is there a way to place greater than and less than parameters within vba access? I have tried so many ways for hours today trying to meet my objective.

Objective1: When the user clicks vbno on a message box display.. I want the user to have a constraint in the text box between 0 and 100, and the value cannot be 0 nor 100, simply between.

Background: This same text box has different constraints, where when yes is clicked. The value is 100. The textbox also has a must be 0 constraint when nothing is typed.

Objective2: I would like, when the user clicks the next record button, to have an error message when the user's entry is not between 0 and 100 once vbno is clicked.

I was attempting to use the option of calling a subroutine, however, access would not give the user enough time to enter data before an error message is displayed.I even tried to see if I could call the vbno function during the click event for new record. I do not know how to do that.
