Modules & VBA :: Between Dates In Where Clause - Query Using Parameters

I have this code below which pulls a report based on the current date, I wanted to be able to pull the same report by entering between 2 dates as is done in a query using parameters.
I am trying to dynamically change the IN sql from within VBA using parameters. for some reason i have no luck, no errors shows up, but it's actually not picking up the criteria.

I have a date field NxtAPayDate that I need to update to the same day in the next calendar quarter. I have an update query set up using DATEADD but it does not change the dates. The table name is AutoPay
I am using the Query Design Grid. This is the SQL code behind the query:
UPDATE AutoPay SET AutoPay.NxtAPayDate = DateAdd("q",1,[AutoPay]![NxtAPayDate]);
When I view the results the dates are the same - original dates, when I try to sort the results, I get a message box with the following: syntax error, incomplete query clause?
I cannot get the dates to change by using a specific date either

Hi all: I am trying to filter a query based on user input from a ListBox. I loop thru the ListBox and build a comma-delimited list of IDs. It takes one parameter, but if there are 2 or more items in the list, it returns nothing. It's not the query, because if I hard code the same comma-delimited list into the SQL query ("...WHERE CategoryID IN (1,2,3)") it works fine.
This is the query:

You can see I'm getting the list of "CategoryID" from a text field; after getting my comma-delimited list from the list box, I assign it to a hidden text field. In debug I can see that the list of IDs is built correctly.

This query is record source for a report, then this report show all calculations in a form.
I have 7 of each (query + report) all showing on the same form.
All those queries calculate data for all departments.
In the form, I have placed a combobox.
What I want is to create a vba code which will add clause WHERE to all queries at the same time and then run it.
Code: WHERE qaDeptFK=Forms!F_CompLvl.cboDeptStats
However, if nothing has been selected in the combo, I want the queries to calculate data as normal, for all departments.
Where do I place the vba statement? Is it under combobox AfterUpdate event?

This is my first time writing a pass through query pinging sql tables using an input parameter from a form. I have gotten as far as executing the query but I can't seem to display the result to ensure it's pulling the right records. I also want to be able to append the records to a table. I want to export all the fields from DailyExport each of our 9 offices to Excel, whetjer or not they have date in the DailyExport table. So if not, the exported workbook would only have columns headings.

I have a form with three text boxes and one button. I want to use these three text boxes as parameters for specific query, thus i want a code that has the ability to pass these three value to query parameters or another code to solve this problem.
I have a library function that will allow the user to nominate a query (as one of its arguments) in the calling application which must have an email field. The function will then Do Loop the email field, concatenating it before creating an email and addressing it. The intended functionality is that a developer can easily create a group email, just by creating a query.
This works fine if the query is filtered "statically" - i.e. I specify which group of people by typing in their "Site_ID" in the criteria. However I want developers to be able to creating dynamically filtered queries (perhaps by the group's ID on a calling form). Within the query (to test it), the filter is therefore [Forms]![Test Function Calls]![Site_id]. When I run the code, I am then presented with "Run-time error 3061: Too few parameters. Expected 1". The code in question is:

I have got an unbound multiple list box called List44 (Row Source: query based on table tblAircraftCategory, Multi Select - Extended) that needs to be passing parameters to my main query called AircraftSearch2. The multiple choice list box have the following fields:

The user will use the form for selecting search criteria (the form is called SearchForm2 and has 5 combo boxes, 3 text boxes and one multiple choice list box).
I'm very new to access and need to modify (or coding a separate module) my query to include my multiple choice list box in my query?
I have a query that searches for records that are between two dates using the WHERE clause. The two dates are referenced to two respective text boxes on a form. On the same form I have a button that will launch the query in VBA using querydefs. I get the error 3061 saying I need to input the parameters. Therefore I am a bit unsure how to set the parameters in VBA. So far I have done this:

Where Date_VL is the field to be filtered. I know this is wrong but all examples I have seen have equated the parameter to a fixed value i.e 30/12/2012 for example, but I want this to be at the users discression. The only way I know of to get around this at the moment would be to write a temp query in VBA with PARAMETERS in the SQL code instead using the method above/
After this I'm going to assign the recordset to a matrix but that's a different story!
The input form of the database have one common table containing data for all parameters for row source. As all data was in one table had one ID. My problem is I am trying to run reports from a form after selecting dates and parameters.
For selecting parameters I created dynamic combo box. For dynamic combo box I needed ID and description of the parameters. So I created separate tables for each parameter with ID and Description column. Which ran me into the problem that when I run report based on main input form which has different row source table and my report form has different row source tables and reports doesn't run when I base my queries on the report form.
Here's my Goal: To open a saved query that has a parameter, setting that parameter via a VBA sub.
Here's my Problem: I was getting various errors, but after debugging my program a bit, it comes down to a "Data Type Conversion Error"

I've been all over the forums and tried several different approaches, all to no avail. The Query runs fine in the QDT, but kicks back an error when I try to run it from my sub.
I'm trying to get an SQL statement to take a value from a combo box in a WHERE LIKE clause.
For example:

The errors I'm receiving are either Missing Match or incorrect Syntax, depending on my trial and errors methods regarding the WHERE clause.
I have an update sql statement that isn't quite working properly.
My where clause has 3 criteria. *print = -1 *stDocCriteria (project_num and client_id)

I want to only updates records that meet all three criteria. The above sql not only updates all records that satisfy stDocCriteria regardless if print is -1(true) or 0(false).
creating a query using vba. I have a form with FROM and TO textboxes(Formatted as Short Date)....What I'm hoping is:
1. When I put a date in FROM textbox...the query should show records from the date selected onward. 2. When I put a date in TO textbox...the query should show records from the date selected backwards. 3. When I put a date in FROM textbox and TO textbox the query should show data between this two dates?
I am having trouble opening Form 2 to the same record as the record in Form 1. Form 1 is a continuous form of questions. When certain response is given, I want to be able to add more information to the "additionalcomments" column for that record. I want to have the additional comments pop up in a new form.
Form 1 is based off of a query with no unique ID. I need the second form to open on Eval_Number and Question_Number. I have tried...

I am trying to calculate annual percentiles of a large set of data and I have only been successful at retrieving the percentile of the entire data set (and not by the grouping). See provided example database for code/query. Query1 is what I want to happen to make the Percentiles table.
Connecting Access FE to SQL SERVER BE Connection is fine. I can open and close it and other queries work fine. I have only one problem with the SQL in one query

why it wants to see the variable as a column name?
I've been trying to work up a where clause that is generated by a button click event on a report. The workflow that i'm trying to obtain is as follows:
1) A report is run to determine the remaining work orders that need to be processed. 2) A button that is placed on that report is to be clicked, taking the user to the form associated with that work order, so it can be processed.
What i've been able to do so far is capture the unique ID for the work order and then print that in a message box. I can then open the form.
What i haven't been able to accomplish thus far is to open the form to the correct work order.
Things I've tried : I started trying to use the macro with the search for record option and using the where clause. Not successful. I am a little more comfortable in using vba so i switched to that pretty quickly.

I've put the strJobID variable in both the filter and where clause sections of the DoCmd but it just opens the form to the first entry. I'm fairly confident i'm not applying the filter/where clause correctly by using the incorrect syntax.
I am really stuck. I have spent two days searcinh different forums trying to solve my problem. I am trying to create an UPDATE q to my Access database. But I get either the: "Syntax error in query. Incomplete query clause" or "Syntax error in UPDATE query".
