I am making a database which has its output in PowerPoint. I have set it up so that each field value is shown on a different slide with the code for each slide like this:

This works fine until a filed is blank (which they sometimes are) where it then crashes with error 94 invalid use of null. What I was thinking was putting the whole thing above in an If-then-else statement so that a blank field does not produce a slide, something like:

I got one months table containing a reporting_month ,timeperiod and an Index column ID with data type Autonumber.Basically I want to search through the table whenever the User types in a new reporting month or timeperiod over the dialogue.Now I want to realize the following options:
1. The user types in a new reporting month, when a record in the months table exists with a timeperiod and a blank reporting month field, it should be assigned there. For example the User types in reporting month = 032014 it should be assigned to the Time_Period Value = 042014-032015
2. Vice versa, the user types in a time period. This value shuold be assigned to the blank field beneath the existing reporting month.
How can I check if a table contains blank fields/values.
If there are blank fields I want to replace them with 0.

However, the output does not include records where other fields are blank. I have read that I may need to use Is Null but am not sure how to.
I have a form with various text, date and combo controls. There is a button at the button that runs a macro (Close NB) at the bottom. What I'm trying to do is bring up a msgbox if certain fields are blank and not run the macro. I only want the macro to run if all the fields specified have data in them.
The fields are :

The thin is that this keeps asking me to enter the parameter value for "PREFIXOS_E_SUFIXOS!Valor" and for "SISTEMAS_EXCLUIDOS!Sistema"
Is there a code that will replace the empty fields by shifting the bottom fields up for access? I am planning to write a code that will delete unnecessary items in my database, however, that will cause the database to have "holes" in it.

Within my table 'Contacts' I have the field 'City' which as you would expect contains the city.
The data in the City field which is sourced from the web can often merge two regional municipalities into 1 and I know through digging in behind the data what the correct answer should be.
I am looking to accomplish a list of edit replaces that takes 30 + edits and automates.

There are 10,000 plus entries in the table of which many are correct.
I want to replace some values in a TNS_QUERY with DSUM. The error message tells me I have to use an updateable table.
How can I avoid to create a query and replace the values directly in the original table TNS? I just group on the original table.

I have a split database. When the front end db is updated, i am attempting to delete the end users copy and replace with the updated version.
I have gotten as far as being able to open Database A, Open Database B with A and Close Database A, but it will not let me delete Database A from B because the procedure originated from Database A.

Hi - I have what maybe a relatively easy problem to solve.
I have a list of locations each with a unique id. I also have another table with location details in it. There is a relationship setup between the two tables. However in the first table I have some locations that do not have a match in the second table. Therefore that field is left blank. When create a query to show information from the two tables, any records that have a blank location match field do not get shown in the output. Is there anyway to display records with blank fields?

The thing is, I have three (3) forms:
Form 1
Form 2
Form 3
...that require changing a portion of a line in each form's respective VBA codes. I need to change the directories to where an excel workbook is stored after exporting, and another is where same excel is moved to after being uploaded.
At the moment, during deployment I have to manually change the directories.
I was thinking of maybe a pop-up form with four (4) fields that allows the user to select his/her name at the start-up of their frontend app, and paste the directories in the other text boxes provided.
This information will then be used to replace the directories in the VBA.
If I were to make changes and have to redeploy, I would have to do everything manually again.
