Queries :: On Closing Login Form Query Result Disappear

I have a Login form, I set a query retrieve information from Login form's Text3 (username)
After that , if the user Successfully logged in then the Login form will close .
I set the query because i need to retrieve what is His/Her Department .
But , after I closed the Login Form , the query result disappear ...
Then I try open Login Form again and login again ... the result come out again ...
How to solve this problem ? Everytime the Form closed the criteria cannot work ad ... It will prompt me the parameter box want me to type again the criteria ...

I am working with Access 2010, on vista. What I have is a query made up of two tables, one product the other inventory. (see below) query.jpg
In the product table i have a field called "minimum reorder level". In the inventory table i have two fields one called "number in stock" and "number on order". What i want to happen is "number on order" to be filtered by the result, if the "number in stock", is less than "minimum reorder level", if it is, have the result placed in the "number on order" field. EG. if the "number in stock" = 2 and the "minimum reorder level" = 5 then 3 would be placed in the field "number on order" and only the second record from the query would be visible (see below) Query result.jpg The result of this would mean that the field "number on order" would be populated with the result and the and query would also use this to filter the record.

Have a query which looks up an address using the text input into a textbox by the user.
What I'm now struggling with is getting the query result into the textbox.

I have a ms access application in Front End and linked tables to sql server 2008 r2 in back end.. every time I open my application the linked tables ask to me for the user and password of the sql server user of the odbc conection. I want to connect to my sql database without login every time the user open the application, I know that can be possible if I start session from vba code...

I have access 2010, I currently have a database in place and operational. What I am wondering is there a way to have a form come up whenever someone opens access and asks for a password and login name. Also I would like to have a 2 tier system. One for Admins and the other for users with limited access.
Is this even possible to accomplish?

i I have two queries.. What i'm hoping is to combine the result into one query but not in one column only but instead the result of the second query should be beside the first query.. The result of the second query should be added as a new column.
First Query
SELECT tbl_uSers.UserName, Count(tbl_rEceived_eMail.EntryID) AS eMailReceived
FROM tbl_rEceived_eMail INNER JOIN tbl_uSers ON tbl_rEceived_eMail.UseriD = tbl_uSers.UseriD

I have a query that's been working fine for years, however...the powers that be have requested a change. We need to track the lining owners in cars. We've recently gone to SQL on the back end (which I basically know NOTHING about) but I set up the new table, refreshed the connection, etc.
I can see the table fine and it says it has a primary key, auto numbers, etc. however, as you can see from the jpg below when I add the table to the query and link the id as in all the other tables, for some reason, this one makes all the data disappear when in datasheet view.If I delete the table from the query - it all comes back.

I have created a form with buttons which runs queries. The parameters I need for the query are being passed through just as I wish and the relevant query is run correctly. However, if I then press the button on the form with different parameters I get the results from the previous query. I can only solve this by closing the query before pressing the button. Is there an easy way to close the query to prevent this from happening. In case this is relevant, the only data which I am returning from the query is stored in the windows clipboard.

I currently have the sql below...

WHERE (((tbl_Node_List.Zip)="35243"));
but I get an err.msg stating the operation must use an updateable query.
What I am trying to do is update my dates in 'tableA' with the max and min values stored in 'tableB'. I have read some of the posts but still can't quite get it. As always all help is appreciated.

I'm struggling with the correct syntax for this, but ideally what I want to achieve is:
SELECT (SELECT Count(Status) FROM P_T WHERE 'criteria are met') / (SELECT Count(Status) FROM P_T WHERE 'different criteria are met')
They are both fairly simplistic select statements, so I imagine this is not that difficult to achieve, but I'm not sure how to structure the query.

there is a query which i made which counts data from two tables RAUTH AND PERS

I want to make a form which will allow me to get data from a query and search using 3 fields parallel.
Attached the database in 2010 format.
Password of the db is "nolimit".
The query PTM & Equipment should be bound with the form and
If I enter month, PTM and equipment need rest 2 fields displayed.
Like choosing the above 3 fields from the drop down , the next 2 text box should display the rest two fields.

How to take the results of query and copy them to a column in a table?
I am using sharepoint and ms access together, and Sharpoint in this instance will not reference the result of the query. I can only use table fields with Sharepoint...major pain....
Example, I need riders name, weight and height from the column in ALL INfo query to automatically fill the column table in ALL Info
queryreservations!AllINfo.value=tablereservations! Allinfo.value
and how to loop through records that are not filled out already?
seems like it should be a simple Do.command but I am not sure how to code it..

how to export a query result to an Excel spreadsheet, using the DoComd as this
DoCmd.OuputTo acOutputQuery, "#query_name#", acFormatXLS, "#excel_sheet_title.xls#", True.
My problem (if you can call it that) is how to append the current date to the name of the spreadsheet. E.g.,
DoCmd.OuputTo acOutputQuery, "qry_query_all", acFormatXLS, "Query_all.xls", True....
So the spreadsheet would be Query_all_03072013.xls.

I have a query that allows 2 inputs for the same field ( batch no )
if you enter "pco0093" only you get 4 results
if you enter pco0094 only you get 4 results
both have the same part numbers is the results
When I run both together pco0093 and pco 0094 and use the "group" function on the field batch no I get 8 results ( as expected)
if I use the " where" function I expected to get the 4 results but with the " quantities doubling
What I am getting is more than 4 results but 5 with a part that was not on any of the single results

I want to add a number to my results within a query depending on the month and how many results. For example I have 10 results in my query 3 from January, 5 from March and the rest from April. The 3 from January would be 1,2,3. The five in March would be 1,2,3,4,5 and so on. Is it possible to do?

I have 2 tables, Event and Person Particulars.
In an event, groups of 2-5 persons may be tagged to this event by a randomly generated number (using autonumber).
Let's say Tom (social security number: 12345X) is tagged to events 2, 5 & 6. There are of course other persons together with Tom in the above 3 events.
If I would like to find out who are the persons who are in events which Tom had participated in, how do I find them using a query?
Currently, I'm thinking of using a searchform where it would return his "associates" if I just query using his social security number, i.e. 12345X.

I have several queries that perform an audit on data. I want to create a form that has two buttons, multiple labels and textboxes. When the first button is pressed, it runs all queries and returns a count of the records within each query into the corresponding textbox. Then I want a a button that will clear all textboxes. I don't want to see the queries, I just want them to run in the background and the count results to be populated in the textboxes.
So for example, it would return:
Check1: 3
Check2: 6
Check3: 2
Check4: 0
