View RepliesI have a ms access table with two fields...tablename is ..."Addresses"..
Field1:= Employee_mail_id
Field2:= Leave_balance
What I need to do is that,I need to send individual mail (in Bulk) two each employee intimating their leave balances.
Is it possible to do it in vb .I want it to assign the codes in a button.
Below iss the code.
Dim r As Recordset
Dim email As String
Set r = CurrentDb.OpenRecordset("select * from Addresses")
Do While Not r.EOF
email = email & r(2) & ";"
r.MoveNext
Loop
r.Close
DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, Null, Null, email, Null, Null, "Test subject", "Message body of the test letter", False, Null
Could you please help me and advise if it's possible to send report from MS Access by mail - having report as a content of an e-mail instead of attachement?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a script that sends a mail using outlook to a different person depending on a value in a field. I want to add values from fields to the subject and body of the mail it creates. This is what I have so far:
Function Mail()
On Error GoTo Mail_Err
If (Forms![Manage Packages]![Customer] = "MSC") Then
DoCmd.SendObject , "", "", "email", "email", "", "[ID] - [Package Name] - Delivered", "Dear," & vbNewLine
[Code] .....
In the subject and body the field ID's I want to add are marked as [ID], [Package name] etc.
I have a query where I collect data for different vendors and their purchase orders, products deadlines etc.
Is it possible via access to generate a report and via outlook send in the email body a message where is showing the purchase order date of delivery and priority? Or can that be done via a form?
I have copied a VBA from the net and it is working fine and producing my report on outlook body text but one problem me facing is that it is pasting only first page if the second page is there it is not coming in outlook text body this what i want rest every thing is correct the code is:
Private Sub Command88_Click()
Const ForReading = 1, ForWriting = 2, ForAppending = 3
Dim fs, f
Dim RTFBody, strTo
Dim MyApp As New Outlook.Application
Dim MyItem As Outlook.MailItem
[Code] .....
I am trying to fetch combobox dropdown text (in the networks label ) into the email body but in vain.
Me.cmb_Network_1_data.Text is giving the RowID instead of the text inside the combobox.
Whichever networks are selected in the six dropdowns should go to email body as you can find in the attachement
Code:
Sub update()
Dim oOutlook As Outlook.Application
Dim oEmailitem As MailItem

I have the following string of text that I currently push out to the body of an Outlook email (using the DoCmd.SendObject function with an Access report):
Code:
sMsgBody = "Please find attached the specified Final Costing Report for WO# " & WO & vbCr & vbCr
sMsgBody = sMsgBody & "Dealer: " & rs.Fields(0).Value & vbCr
sMsgBody = sMsgBody & "Model: " & rs.Fields(1).Value & " : " & rs.Fields(2).Value & " : " & rs.Fields(3).Value & " : " & rs.Fields(4).Value & vbCr
sMsgBody = sMsgBody & "Margin $: " & rs.Fields(5).Value & vbCr
sMsgBody = sMsgBody & "Margin %: " & rs.Fields(6).Value & vbCr
Which is great and works fine! It appears in the email like so:
Original.PNG
Now, it has been requested that the data to be left justified to the widest line... so, in this scenario, it would look like this:
Edit.PNG
I've searched for ways this might be accomplished so it's always left justified to the widest line, but haven't come across any definitive solutions yet.
I've got information stored per row with the name of the person which data-entried the information.
If a user wants feedback from that user on that specific row i would like to make it able to send a mail to the data-entrier. The data-entrier name should be clicked in the row and that specific row should be attached in the mail.
I can store e-mail addresses of my data-entriers in the database, how do i achieve to send the mail address and specific row to outlook when a user clicks it?
I am trying to capture a newly arrived mail in outlook with respective subject line. The below code works for me on 2010 outlook but when new mail arrive in outlook 2013 ,Mrthod Items_ItemAdd do not get called.

it's possible to use a union query as a mail merge? I haven't found anything that says I can't do it, but I'm not getting my merge to complete, and when I switch to a plain query (and not changing anything else) my merge is successful, so I'm thinking there might be a limitation.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a query that populates a report linked to a mail merge. There is an IFF statement in it that checks to see if a condition is meet. If that condition is meet some standard text results. Is it possible to put a disclaimer with the standard text.For example,
Code:
IIF ([Results]="Negative","Nothing detected" (the disclamer would go here)
I am not certain the correct syntax to use to insert "not all regions were tested".
Hi, this is probably a very easy question for you “Access-gods” out there.
I’ve made a database (MS Access 2000) with all my clients. I collect a lot of contact info, including e-mail.
I want to make a function which opens a new mail window (Outlook 2003) and automatically puts in the e-mail from my form (In the send-to field of outlook).
Is this possible? And how?
(BTW: I’m a newbie with VBA)
I've created an outlook task to export a common query I do every day, is there a way to automate it so it will happen automatically without me pressing Run?
I use office 2007 on a company laptop with tight network restrictions (so no Windows Task Scheduler)..
I almost have what I need, but I am not quite there. I am a VBA novice and need help. I couldnt understand some of the code I have searched for on this topic.
I have a query that returns exactly the results I want. By using a SendObject macro I can accomplish sending the message with a .txt file attached. What I want to do is instead of having the attachment I want to send my query "FaxReportQueryReport" in the body of the email. No set address, just a set RE: line of "Today's Deliveries".
I have a query table in Access 2007 with requests pending an individuals review and approval. I would like to create an automatic email each day to that individual which includes the actual query table impeded as part of the body of the email (not as an attachment).
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to put multiple records of data from a subform in a single e-mail, and my Outlook calendar. I have a contracting business, and on my Orders form (which details a single client), I have a sub-form that lists all the items to be done at that client's home (a different record for each work item). When I send an e-mail, or post the appointment to the Outlook calendar, I am trying to list all those records in the body of the e-mail, and/or in the Notes section of the appointment. I created the query to call the records, but have not figured out a way to use it in the code.

I have a database with lots of names and addresses. For the first time I am trying to set up a mail merge to do a mail shot, my problem is that I can get the mail merge wizard to work fine with the underlying address table but if I create a query to do selective mailings then mail merge comes up with nothing. The query does work and produces the required list of addresses but when I run it through the wizard it doesn't seem to be able to see anything. Any suggestions? I assume that it should work with queries..
thanks
Dennis
I am trying to mail merge from word 2013 to a query in access 2013. I initially had problems displaying the query until I came across a solution regarding connecting via DDE. I can now link to the query but it then asks me to 'enter parameter values' from the query. I have already run these values into the query via a form which ends up in a report. (incidentally I have left the report open). If I manually enter these parameters it works fine.
View 6 Replies View Related I am working with an orders database and want to build a mailing label query that will not print duplicate labels.In the query I have the customer address book and the orders table. I know how to create the query to filter the year I want but how do I add the customer information as to not duplicate the customers and waste labels?
Example:
Order Date Year: ([Order Date]) Last Name
Orders Addressbook
I want to be able to bring up all sales for 2014 but have no duplicate last names.
So I have the following query which works perfectly (and will be use to create a report) but when the query runs to create the report I also want it to mail merge some of the items into word to be used on address labels.
Code:
SELECT Dunmow.Date, Dunmow.Undeliverable, Dunmow.Duplicate, Dunmow.[OTM with XXXXXX], Dunmow.[Landlords Salutation], Dunmow.[LL Address 1], Dunmow.[LL Address 2], Dunmow.[LL Address 3], Dunmow.[LL Address 4], Dunmow.[LL Address 5], Dunmow.[LL Postcode], Dunmow.[Letter 1], Dunmow.[Letter 2], Dunmow.[Letter 3], Dunmow.[Letter 4], Dunmow.[Letter 5], Dunmow.[Letter 6], Dunmow.[Letter 7], Dunmow.[Letter 8]
FROM Dunmow
WHERE (((Dunmow.Date)=DateAdd("d",-7,Date())) AND ((Dunmow.Undeliverable)=False) AND ((Dunmow.Duplicate)=False) AND ((Dunmow.[OTM with XXXXXX])=False) AND ((Dunmow.[Letter 1])=False));
So thats my query, What I want it to do is to take the following
[Landlords Salutation]
[LL Address 1]
[LL Address 2]
[LL Address 3]
[LL Address 4]
[LL Address 5]
[LL Postcode]
and use it for a merge item to create the labels required.
I have a standard word document/label document I wish to paste this into.
Good Evening All,
I want a cheep calendar that links to queries and can input data as well as display it. It has been on my wish list for 7 or 8 years.
If anyone know how to make one or knows where to buy a cheep one I would really appreciate it.
hello all,
Is there any provision to copy and overwrite a particular portion of data from excel worksheets into Access table based on the primary key match.
I am using MS office 97.
I have developed a database, which holds the information about different policies we use in the organisation. There are people responsible for reviewing and updating these policies by a dead line. All the information is tored in the main regarding each policy and person responsible against it.
Is it possible to send a notification to the person responsible saying that this is the reminder or is is possible to fire a report to this person with detials of outstanding policies he/she is responsible for.
