I am trying to pull just a specific date that a Claim was sent to be processed. But the query has 40 tables that it needs to go through to get all possible dates. I know you will all say this is over kill on the tables, but each table represent a travel claim.
The problem I have is that I get to the 10th claim and it stops pulling the date. I put the following statement in the criteria:
I have 3 tables, "Customer", "Offsite Service" and "Service".
Customer: ID Last Name First Name ...
Service: ID Date Price Trans#
Offsite Service: ID Date Price Trans#
All 3tables are joined by the ID#.
I need to create a sales report/query based on the results of the user input, which is a date range. I've got it working great with two of the tables, but not the third. Here's the code for the working one I have now. I had to add the Trans# to make sure it returned all the results. If I take it out it only shows a small percentage of the records. The Trans# is NOT the same on both the service tables.

It works great returns the correct results. But I don't need everything out of Assets. I just need a few things from there and a few things from 2 other tables.
I tried this but it now gives back over 220 repeating results.

I have a form "frm_PatientNew" based on table "tbl_patients", this form contains a button "cmd_NewVisit" which is supposed to do the following: opens the form "frm_NewVisit" for recording a new visit for the last recorded patient in "tbl_Patients", I found many approaches depending on DMax and Dlookup and they worked fine just if "frm_NewVisit" is bound to "tbl_Patients", but "frm_NewVisit" is bound to "tbl_Main" which acts as a container for all information (patient data, visit data,service done and service provider), so the form "frm_NewVisit" contains fields from different tables. I wonder if I should create "frm_NewVisit" as unbound form, then adding fields from different tables to it and using vba to populate "tbl_Main",
I would like the "DateOfConfirmation" to populate with today's date when "SSurvDiagThisYear" is Confirmed.
The DateRecordCreated is a simple =Date() that populates when the record is entered into the table.
SSurvDiagThis Year is the case outcome - Pending, Probable, or Confirmed. It is possible that the case could be confirmed on the same day it was entered into the table but that is RARE.
I am hoping for the The DateOfConfirmation to capture the date the case is confirmed so that I can gather some duration between the case being opened to confirmed.

I have a table w/ a field named 'Week Ending'....The 'Week Ending' column is based on each Friday's date, and may contain anywhere from 5 - 30 entries per Week End date.
Now for the simple question I'm obviously missing the answer too...I have a query that I run weekly based on the entire record set for the 'current' week ending.
My last set is obviously 1/26/2007. Is there anyway to make the most recent week ending date the default criteria for the record set; instead of changing the query design each time? It may seem trivial to some, but I just want to cut any step possible for any additional users..
hi, i have certain jobs and i want to select them based on the job date.
in my current query, i use the job date parameter [Enter a Date:]
when the user types in the date, then the jobs for that date and their corresponding information is displayed.
however, i have created a form for this query displaying the results as a datasheet.
instead of the user having to enter the date for the query manually, is there any way to modify the query to only show results for the current day.
eg. today is the 24/02/06.. so i would like the results from the query to automatically show the jobs for that date. this way, only todays jobs will be shown in my form.
so i have an interesting question and im hoping that someone can help on this one. i need to pull date from a specific table, no problem, that's written and working fine, next i need to be able to join the data from another table by a primary key, again no problem. third, i need to be able to select the date (using WHERE) for a specific date range. (i.e. i enter the date range of 01/7/2007 to 15/7/2007) and the query comes back only showing the data from that specific time, not the data from before or after. this is where my problem lies, all the entered data is being shown after entering my date range. i am going to include my SQL statement, just so you can actually see what im really talking about.

I am trying to calculate the total hobbs time (Ending Hobbs - Starting Hobbs = Total Hobbs) based on a user inputed date range. The query that I created (see attachment) doesn't seem to give me what I'm wanting.
I am trying to create a mailing list of patients. Let's say I am creating a mailing list for February. I need the mailing list to consist of people who have had surgery in February from the beginning of the database, and people who have had surgery three months ago, so anyone who had surgery in November. I have created a form that has a button which is connected to a query, the form has a unbound textbox where I can enter the month in (2 for February). Then the query uses the datepart function to search for this month in their date of surgery. But this only gives me people for surgeries with february, how would I get people who have had surgery three months ago in the same query.
I have 10 tables, 30+ fields on each table (every table has the same 'account number' field). I only need from 5 - 20 fields from each table. How do I get the certain fields from each table and put them in a table, query or report?
During a client's stay with our agency, they are served among multiple contracts and are placed within multiple programs. Because clients move frequently between contracts and between programs, we have separate tables which have start and end date fields. It is common for any client to have multiple listings in these two tables, but with different event dates.
I am struggling to create a query that will capture each client's most CURRENT contract AND program. In the future, I'll want to create a parameter query that will allow the end user to enter a range of dates and capture all of the contract and program movement during a period of time.
We have two facilities that receive four different types of shipments. I wanted to set up a database to track these shipments. Is there a way for me to set up tables such that the person entering the information can leverage the same date and location field for each entry type? For example, we may only receive two types of shipments today and four tomorrow. I want to avoid having the clerk enter the date and location two times today and four times tomorrow for each data entry.

I want to hyperlink from a query direct to the relevant record in a specific form. I have a hyperlink field in the form which shows up in the query. When clicked in the query, this hyperlinks to the form but I cannot make it select the correct record in the form.How do I get it to select the correct record?

Hi! My question is similar to Hondasteed earlier today but a little different. I have a database that has 6 date fields. I would like to develop a query where the user enters a start and end date and the query checks all six of those fields for the appropriate dates and shows only those records who have dates in that range. The dates would change each month as we ran the query again. I would appreciate any help as this has really had me stuck and I'm guessing it's a simple solution. Thanks!
I have multiple tables in my access db, the structure of the tables (4 in all) are exactly the same except that the billing dates are for year 2001 to 2004 i.e. separate table for each of the years.
I don't want to copy the information in these 4 tables into 1 table because I have over 2 million rows in each table. However, I want to be able to run 1 query that will provide information from all 4 tables. E.g. filtering for billing dates between 2001 to 2004 for a particular customer.
How do I join the tables together so that I can run a query on all 4 tables at one time.
i have an excel worksheet with 24 similar sheets : a,b,c,d, aso the sheets contains similar data: nr, firm, invoice, sum, payment date, etc i linked them to access creating tables : a,b,c,d, aso i must create a query based on them to sort the data in the tables ascending by the due payment date (query based on multiple tables)
i've done this for 2 tables:

but it multiplies the data by 2 or many times in the resulting table. what is wrong?
Here is a some what complicated question dealing with queries.
I have several tables with data and every month I create a new table with similar data. I am trying to build a query to keep track of certain statistics with in the monthly tables. However I do not want to have to update query each month linking the tables together. What I really would like to do is have a table with the names of each of the tables, which I could up date easily, which links the query to each table to determine the statistics. If this is making any sense, I would appreciate the help.

Not sure if this belongs in Queries or Tables or Forms, but I'm realy stuck on this one. I've been quite verbose in my question, so please stick with me on this, but I'm trying to make sure you helpful souls have all the information you need.
The premise, is as follows:
Master table recording general appointment details (time place etc)
For each appointment we have a number of tests that need to be performed. What I have been asked to provide is the following:
For each appointment there must be one or many tests.
For each test, there must be 1 or many sub tests.
The test number is just an integer
Each SubTest has a code, description, price. The price for each test is date dependant. The operator should just be able to enter the sub test code and autopopulate the remaining fields.
So, I want to add a subform in a subform to the main appointment form.
The tables are as follows (Excluding appointment table):
Now, as the price is dative I have a query on a query (both select queries) to get the prices as of the appointment date. This works fine:
First Filter:

I've added the link table to get over the many to many relationship I have between Tests and Test Codes.
As soon as I try and link the tables or tables + query together for the sub sub form (i.e. the test codes data entry)it all goes wrong. I get no option to add data....
Linking the tbl_lnk to Second Filter:

If I manually enter the data into the seperate tables it works fine, and will display correctly on the Appointments form, but you still cannot edit/add records - the error is that this recordset is not updatable.
So, firstly, have I set the tables up correctly? secondly if yes, Am I using the correct approach to this? If yes to both, where am I going wrong? Do I need to create a table from the pricing query or is it much simpler?
How to show multiple tables in one query without duplications. I've attached a mock database of what I am working on. Basically, I want to show all of the numbers from different tables regarding one patient. But when I do using the Patient ID, it repeats the information over and over again. Is this the right way? Or is there a better way? I know I can use forms, but I ultimately want to transfer this database to excel so I can use graphs to describe the trends of the patients' results. My real database has about 300 columns, for all 5 tables.
