I am attempting to combine to queries that I created and am not having success. I need to get a count on a field for a specific value and have to do this by gender and by an age range. So here is the query I came up with. I don't get any errors produced but I also don't get any results.

I'd like to limit my query results to only items that match any part of a dynamic csv string table but am having some trouble (postgres SQL). Details: I need to calculate how many hours our staff spends seeing clients. Each staff has different appointments that can count toward this. The specified appointments for each staff are listed as comma separated values. My existing query calculates the appointment hours for each staff in a given time period.
However, I need limiting my query to only include specified activities for each staff. My current where clause uses IN to compare the appointment (i.e. activity) listed in the staff's schedule with what is listed an an approved appointment type (i.e. performance target activity). The query runs but it seems to only count one of the activities listed in the csv rather then count all the activities that match with the csv.

I have a table of orders. I was asked to count the orders that fall into specific dollar buckets. Normally I would use a CASE statement for this, but in this case, there are over 100 different buckets!
For example, I need to count the orders in $5 increments up to $400. The CASE statement would look like this:

hi, please help me, i have a data driven site, i made a field that i call "Status"so this is how it should happens, there are three different gridviews in a single page, gridview1 filter is [status] = ok, gridview2 filter is [status] = fine, gridview3 filter is [status] = complete, so all gridview has its own <asp:hyperLinkField> at first the value of "Status" is ok, so it will appear in the gridview1, so when the user click on the <asp:HyperLinkField> of gridview1 it will go to a new page with a form view, this page has a button that when click will change the value of the status field to "fine", so that it will no longer appear to the gridview1 but it will now appear to gridview2 and same with the next <asp:HyperLinkField> click until it appears to the final gridview. so my question is how can i make the button that is capable of changing (update) the value my database field (status) to a specific value, that is not visible to the user thru codebehind or plain asp.net codes. please help me, if you need more info just reply.ThanksSALAMAT PO!

If I just use a simple select statement, I find that I have 8286 records within a specified date range.

'The problem I'm running into is that the '[, ]%' in the LIKE excludes any record that ends with the FirstName because it is requiring either a space, comma or period after the name. I have a table like this. Each ConNo can have many boxes. The number of the box is an identfier, not a quantity.ie Box 3 = 1 box.A box may have a letter as a suffix or not.
I want to group by ConNo and total the boxes so I know how many Boxes are in each ConNo eg ConNo 200 5 boxes
I've got a stored proc which returns a location and corrosponding defects for that location. My matrix has the locations as rows and a count of defects as the data.
How can I manipulate the matrix (or table?) so I'll only show the Top 3 highest counts? I've tried screwing around with the Top N Filter, but as soon as I do =COUNT(Field!Defect.Value) on it the report wont run anymore. If the data came over in the above format that would make my life so much easier...but my matrix is all about aggregate data
Also I cant modify the stored proc as that dataset is used on multiple areas in the report

I have a table in Access 2007 that has about 30 field names and I want to have a count of how many unique rows there are in each field. I want to have these results put into another table that will just have the field name and then the count of how many unique rows there are.
I have code in VBA that will loop through my SQL and change out the field name, but I can't seem to get the SQL right before I can start looping it. For just one field name this would be what I have to count the unique names...
