Column Chart Bar Borders
Jul 12, 2007Can I add borders to my bars in the column chart? My bars don't appear to have any border, and I can't see a place to set one. I am using SSRS Express.

How Can I Set Constant Padding Between The Columns Of The Column Chart(stacked Column Sub-type)?

I am working on a column chart type (stacked column sub-type) report.
Our customer requires us that the space(padding) between the columns should be a constant(including the space between the Y-axis and the first column). I know how to set the width of the columns, but I really don't know how to set the width of the space between them. The columns just varies the space between them automatically according to the number of the columns (the number of the columns is not certain).

Gaps Or Whitespace Between Column Bars On The Column Chart
Mar 18, 2008I am working on a report that has 3 bars per series. I would like to add some gapping or whitespace between each bar in each series. Also how do you deal with overlapping. I know it can be done in Excel, I can't find the property of how to do it in SSRS. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have a row in my report that has 6 columns. I want to outline the row with a border, but not the column lines in between. So, I went into BorderColor, changed the Default to white and my Top and Bottom colors as Black. The problem is that where the "white" column lines are, they are displaying 1pt gaps in my outline. I tried changing the BorderStyle to Zero, but it wouldn't take it.

Ever See This? No Borders Or Icons On Tasks
Oct 3, 2007I'm setting up a new computer, and opening an SSIS project I've worked on elsewhere. Here's what I'm seeing (see http://tkfiles.storage.live.com/y1pX-TdM6iRI3cSQsl2V4GLd5RAuX2ygIeBbMSb-VM7vTauMSqehrm7pFvpA6N2sFLQFrb4a-1iXnk):
The borders and icons come back if I resize the window by dragging an edge of the window. They disappear again if I maximize the window.
It's very odd, but I'm wondering if it means that something sinister is going on. I didn't set up all of the software on this machine, so I don't fully trust that it was set up correctly.

I know that there is an option to 'Plot the data as line', but for some reason this is greyed out.
Any ideas on both?

Reporting Services :: Cannot Seem To Lose Most Double Borders
Aug 19, 2015We run std 2008 r2. On my col heading text boxes and data text boxes i'm purposely picking only borders above and left in an attempt to get rid of what looks like a double border between text boxes.
The only places I see what appears to be a single thickness is the left of the 1st column hdg and data, and above any col hdg text box I set this way.
Also, when I pick .5 instead of 1 pt thickness, ssrs always puts it back to 1 pt.
How can I get the appearance of single thickness borders instead double?

Problem With Page Borders When Rendering Report In Html

I created a report with borders in the page header, the page body, and the page footer. When I preview the report in report viewer it is exactly how I want it and it also prints and exports to pdf perfectly. There's only a problem viewing it in report manager. The borders in the page header and footer show up right but the body of the report's borders don't show up at all. The body of the report also is no longer aligned with the page header and footer because it's borders seem to be unrecognized in the report manager view. Has anyone experienced this problem and/or figured out what to do to fix this? Please let me know.

Label Stacked Bar/column Chart With Percentages

I need to label stacked bar /column charts with the percentage of each series at each axis point.
For example, if I have the following values in the chart:
Series 1 Series 2
Axis point 1 50 25
Axis point 2 12 12
I need the labels to read: Series 1 Series 2
Axis point 1 67% 33%
Axis point 2 50% 50%
It would seem that I need to format the data point labels to read something like: sum (data.label)/sum(data.label, "axis point")

Stacked Column Chart Label Position Problem
Feb 26, 2008I have a Stacked Column graph and when we set the Position of the Point Label to be "Top Center", the Point Label always stays in the center of that particular Bar.
On a easier, basic Bar chart, the Point Label setting works correctly.
Has anyone else had a similar issue or know if this is a known issue ?
Running Totals In A Report Builder Column Chart
Mar 9, 2006I've created a Report Builder Column chart with months as the x-axis
(category) and revenue as the y-axis (value). This correctly displays
the revenue for each month, but I'd like to display a running total of
the revenue for the year.
I'm currently displaying:

I want to display:
Jan $2
Feb $3
Mar $7
I know this is possibly using the RunningTotal formula in Reporting
Services, but I'd like to do this in Report Builder so the users can
change and create their own graphs with running totals. Is there a way to do this in Report Builder?

May 7, 2015I have a report in which I have assigned custom colors with a function to one of my stacked column charts. When I run it in the report builder, the colors are correctly placed, but as soon as I upload the report to the server and view the report from there, the colors get swapped. I have these custom colors applied to other stacked column charts in the report and they work perfectly fine. The only difference between this chart and my other charts is that it contains two category groups.
EDIT: Alright, I have gotten it to display the correct colors by using a function with the colors I wanted in reverse. I have two values, "Upcoming" which is displayed in red, and "Outstanding" which is displayed in blue. If the chart has only upcoming values, it will display in blue rather than red, whereas if I have upcoming and outstanding values, they will display in their correct colors. why this is occurring?

I am a bit confused for the model evaluation (lift chart), should we map all the columns for both the mining structure and the case table? I mean for those predictive models, we have a predict column, shouldnt we ignore the mapping of the predictive column between the mining structure and the case table? But it seemes we are not allowed to miss the predictive column mapping between the mining structure and the case table.
Why is that? Could any experts here give me some explanation on that?

1) Bar chart that has data for 3 years (3 series)
2) Line chart that has the same data as per the above points on the bar chart but this is a running total. (3 series)
3) These data points are for the 12 months
4) there should be a secondary axis for the cumulative one

VBA is not an option, we are planning to move this table to MS SQL server, so it should be a choice with "SELECT from Name...." with exceptions or any other checks with warning/error message...?
