Connection Provider For DBF File

I already check every provider, but not found provider for DBF file.
Anyone can help me?

Aug 31, 2007The problem that I am having is that with Visual Web Developer I am creating a webpage and having it directly put online, so for example when I start a new ASP.NET page, I select the location to be HTTP, with the location http://MYWEBSERVER/Website and for the language and Visual BasicI notice a couple of things, first that there is no longer a a link under the Main toolbar "Website" selection called the ASP.NET configuration. So how can I configure what I want to have users be able to do? It seems that this choice is only available if I am building the ASP.NET page on my "localhost". So that is the first problem. So I am able to get the pages to work, atleast the things such as the textboxes to show up etc, (Even things as advanced as the "Login" box). How ever when I try to get someone to try to login I am taken to a page that has an server error. The error is:
"The SSE Provider did not find the database file specified in the connection string. At the configured trust level (below High trust level), the SSE provider can not automatically create the database file. "
The Stack Trace Errors are at the bottom. I think this is happening because the automatically generated databases are not getting built online as they are on my computer. On my computer I have MSSQL express. So either the databases are not getting built for some reason, (and I think that is the case as I don't see any in the folder). So I think that somehow I have to create a database on my server, and then somehow configure the ASP.NET file, perhaps in the Web.Config file to look for that new database. Is this the correct methodology? Is there some simpler way that I can just somehow upload things as they are and have them work correctly on my server? The error says that either the Server did not find the database or that the trust level was insufficient. I don't think that is it as I just looked again and I don't see any .MDF files. So how would I go about getting this to work right? Is there a way to do this with MySQL also? So that I don't have to use MSSQL? My server only allows 1 DataBase for that.
Thanks and I hope my question makes sense. It is basically how can I get it to be able to create and check users etc. online?

We just changed the dev environment to sqlagent. From then we were unable to see the reports on the report server because:
An error has occurred during report processing.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'IHRSDataSource'.
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)
this error is cropping up.
To Resolve this issue, we checked the Surface Area Configuration and also checked the Reporting Service Configuration . There seem to be no problem and everything looks ok.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

The error message is:

I am new to dotnet. I tried connecting to the database MS SQL Server 2000. I gave the code like, the one below, in form load event,

But I could not connect. The error message highlights the line myConnection.Open() and displays the error

It tries connecting to SQL Server 2005. There is no SQL Server 2005 in that system. There is only SQL Server 2000.

hi all
I realised this has been done to death, and so much information out there but I am still in a quandry.
I have had to rebuild my computer.
This is what I did
XP machine
using SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition
using Windows Authentication
NZ6(MSSQLSERVER)
straight default install all the way
unfortunately when ready to run reports from my instance(computer)
I received the error as in provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server
thought I had it all okayed but obviously something not right
so ended up unistalling then - did the following:
Load SQL Server from disc1 and start install
failed on alter Counter Registry key error
fixed this from KB article (known error that can happen)
restarted
Went to Windows Update
check IIS is installed - tick is on - IIS - admin tools - make sure asp2 is associated - yes ok
Then back to install sql server - there is no instance set up yet
Disk 2 and setup .exe
All ok on Reporting Services, Analysis etc.
But once again all seems fine but still getting the error:
connection is all fine in Management Studio - eg I can see tables etc
connection is all fine in Business Intelligence - eg I can preview my reports
I then can deploy up to - NZ6
open NZ6
eports
report is there fine - but just errors
some simple little tick that I have not done!!
I seem to have checked and rechecked everything and obviously doing another re-install does not seem a logical step from here.
I will continue to check but if someone jump in and advise please would be great.

I try to connect to a SQL Server 2005 Express Edition via IP address. But anytime the application tries to connect to the database here is th error message I receive:
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.)
There is the connection String code:

Already checked
I have enabled the TCP/IP under SQL Server,
Under SQL Server Configuration Area, I have chosen the option Local and remote connection: TCP/IP only
I have verified that my firewall allows SQL remote and a Local Connection.
Now I don't know where to look or what I have to fix to continue. I will really appreciate if somebody can help me.

I am currently on XP x64 and am trying to run a .vbs file, which needs access to an access file when the following error pops up:

error code: 800a0ea9
source: ADODB.Connection
I have tried a bunch of stuff, but so far nothing has worked.
The following code is is question:
set AccessDB = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
AccessDB.Open("DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=" & sMSAccessDBPath)
any help would be appreciated......could I run this with cscript.exe (in the WoW64 folder) in through cmd.exe?

I have copied my asp.net website from one server to another. they administrator made necessary modification on IIS manager . and able to see the website on browser. but now i can't loging to system using old password.
I tryed to create new password then also it gives error

Apr 7, 2008i'm going nuts with SQL server notification thing. I have gone throigh this artical which tells how to set user http://www.codeproject.com/KB/database/SqlDependencyPermissions.aspx. This article show how to create new user and setup for sql server notification.But In my case user was alredy existing in database. which is very common senario in most cases. So i did following( check the SQL script below) but then i get this error

Connection Error From ASP.Net Under IIS: Provider: Named Pipes Provider, Error: 40
Apr 5, 2007We experience the 40 error when our Asp.net code runs under IIS and uses named pipes to a sql server 2005 named instance.
We've tried all suggestions found on blogs and KB articles such as making sure the named pipes protocol is enabled, making sure the Browser service is started, making sure Allow Remote Connections is enabled, making sure we're not using Asp.Net 2.0 membership providers, and the list goes on and on.
We boiled it down to a simple test scenario. We open a SqlConnection to the sql 2005 box in the code with the intention of binding a datareader to a gridview, but it never gets that far because the connection.Open() fails.
If we run this test application as a virtual directory in IIS and Asp.Net 2.0, the connection.Open() fails.
If we run this test application from Visual Studio .Net using Cassini (PWS), the connection.Open() succeeds and binds to the gridview.
What could be causing the connection to fail under IIS but succeed under Cassini? We've tried setting IIS to run as a domain user and with digest authentication enabled. That made no difference.
Any help or insight is appreciated!

Connection Error With OLE DB Provider For DB2
Apr 2, 2007I did download the newest OLE DB Provider for DB2 from the Feature Pack for SQL Server 2005 from februar 2007 that should work on an Win XP machine but I get the following error:
Could not connect to data source 'New Data Source':
Der opstod en eller flere fejl under udførslen af kommandoen.
Data descriptor mismatch. SQLSTATE: HY000, SQLCODE: -292
If I try the same thing on a Windows 2003 Server it workes.
Anybody know about this problem?
MS OLE DB Provider For DB2 Connection Errors
Jan 11, 2007I'm attempting to configure a new Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 connection using the provided Data Access Tool and Wizard. I'm configured for DB2MVS TCP/IP and have my Catalog and other defaults set. When I go to connect I get the following:
Could not connect to data source 'New Data Source':
An internal network library error has occurred. A network level conversational protocol error has occurred. SQLSTATE: HY000, SQLCODE: -343
The port I've configured is what is used when we use the IBM OLE DB and ODBC drivers.
I turned on tracing and tested the connection again and recieved only the following in a file that got named DB2MSG1.ATF. We have been struggling with this for awhile, any help is greatly appreicated.

DTS Connection Problems With IBM DB2 UDB For ISeries OLE DB Provider

I'm trying to build a DTS package which would send data to AS400 after deleting existing data from AS400 table first. At the moment I can't make it because:
1) If I'm using "IBM DB2 UDB for iSeries OLE DB Provider" as a data source, I can't store the password in the connection which is really really strange?? Because the password isn't saved, the package can't be scheduled because someone needs to type in the password. Stupid.
2) If I'm using "iSeries Access ODBC Driver" I can't execute SQL DELETE over that connection. SELECT Works well but DELETE won't work. I'll get error message which says "HResult of 0x80040e14 (-2147217900) returned. Unexpected error occured. An error result was returned without an error message."
3) Transform Data Task fails when I'm using "iSeries Access ODBC Driver". Error message says that the number of failing rows exceeds the maximum. If I'll raise the max error number, the step executes, but 0 records are sent.
Somehow I get this feeling, that with "iSeries Access ODBC Driver" I cannot send, delete, update etc in AS400 and with "IBM DB2 UDB for iSeries OLE DB Provider" it could be done IF the password could be stored in connection.
Help anybody? How to store the password in OLE DB or how to delete & send data with ODBC connection.

Dynamically Set The Connection Of SSIS Log Provider For XML

I have an ssis package that contains a DateTime variable named RefDate
its value saved in the package is 8/31/2006. I setted up a Package
configuration for read the value of RefDate from the parent package.I
inserted a script task with message box to verify that the package
configuration works. When I launch the parent package the message box
shows the value of RefDate setted in the parent package. The problem
is that when I use RefDate to dynamically set the connection string of
the log connection of the SSIS log provider for XML files for the
child package, the connection string contains the child value of
RefDate.

Problem Connection With SAP R/3 With .NET Data Provider For MySap
Dec 14, 2007I tried to connect to a SAP with the .Net data provider. Either in SSIS or in C# custom code (using SapConnection class) when I try to open the connection I receive a :

Connection Failing Randomly TCP Provider Error: 0

Sql 2005 std on windows 2003 server r2
tcp port 1433 set for connections in Sql 2005
Port open on firewall from DMZ 1433 can connect from web farm telneting from all IP address on port 1433 to sql both by name and IP.
the connection works 99.9% of the time.
No errors in the sql logs showing anything Firewall logs show no blocks. Windows firewall service is disabled to move that out of the troubleshooting.
