I can't import a package from the SSIS to the file system of my SQL Server Management Studio. Every time i've tried the following message appears. What should i do to correct this problem? Any ideas?

I've imported an SSIS package into Management Studio (2008 R2) and I've set up a SQL Server Agent job to call the package but it fails due to error code: 0xc00160aa.
As far as I can tell this is because it is unable to read the location of the package despite it being a file system location within Management studio. Also I can run the package manually within Management Studio, but when I try to call it via the job it fails.

I am having a problem importing data from xls and access into my SQL2005 DB using SSIS. Would appreciate any help in getting this resolved. The Integration Services that I'm using has just been rebuilt due to problems after installing SP2. I'm using Integration Services 9.0.3042. I can't find anything having this same problem. Any help will be appreciated.
I have developed an SSIS package for ETL purpose. I am invoking the SSIS package through .Net console application by referencing the ManagedDTS Assembly. I am able to execute the package in Sql Server 2005 Developer Edition and it runs fine till completion.
But when i try to execute the packahe in Sql Server 2005 Standard edition, by invoking the package through .Net console application the status of the package is failure.
Can any one help me how to over come this problem.

I imported the dtsx file inside my "Stored Packages".
I would like to load and run the package programmatically on a Remote Scenario using the web services.
I created a solution with web service and web page that invoke the web service.
When my code execute: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.LoadFromDtsServer(packagePath, ".", Nothing)
I got the Error: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DtsRuntimeException: The package failed to load due to error 0xC0011008 "Error loading from XML. No further detailed error information can be specified for this problem because no Events object was passed where detailed error information can be stored.". This occurs when CPackage::LoadFromXML fails.
The error message doesn't help so much and there is nothing on the www to give me and advice....
We have a 2014 SQL Server. I have a SSIS package written in VS 2008 where I am simply importing an .xlsx into an existing table via a mapped drive. I have it working on my development machine using the 2007 Access 32 bit driver from [URL]..... Our DBA is trying to schedule the package to execute on a schedule job on the 2014 server and we received an error. He installed the 32 bit driver and still getting the error. I set the package to run in 32 bit and we are still getting the error.

I have a SSIS package that reads data from a dump table, runs a custom script that takes date data and converts it to the correct format or nulls and formats amt fields to currency, then inserts it to a new table. The new table redirects insert errors. This process worked fine until about 3 weeks ago. I am processing just under 6 million rows, with 460,000 or so insert errors that did give error column and code.
Now, I am getting 1.5 million errors. and nothing has changed, to my knowledge. I receive the following information.
Error Code -1071607685 Error Column 0 Error Desc No status is available.
The only thing I can find for the above error code is
DTS_E_OLEDBDESTINATIONADAPTERSTATIC_UNAVAILABLE
To add to the confusion, I can not see any errors in the data written to the error table. It appears that after a certain point is reached in the processing, everything, or most records, error out.
I am trying to run an update statement. Both these tbls were migrated from 2000 to 2005.. However the upgrade returnes the foll err. Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "SQL_Latin1_General_Pref_CP437_CI_AS" and "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" in the equal to operation.

We have a set of DTS tasks that have been migrated in SSIS tasks on an existing SQL 2005 server, all is fine there and the tasks run ok.
We now want to deploy a copy of the same tasks to another SQL 2005 server at another organisation, so obviously we'll need to change things like server names and file paths. The tasks update different tables in a SQL database on the same server taking information from flat files. The SSIS dtsx files contain embedded DTS tasks. I've been able to view these successfully using the tools in Visual Studio 2005.
I have created a deployment utility for the SSIS files and installed them on the new server.
When I try and run the first SSIS task on the new server it fails validation with the error "Package name is not specified". Having looked at the task in Visual Studio everything looks ok.
Does anyone know whats going on here and how to resolve it?

Hi i get a error when i run my SSIS package. Here is the message

The funny thing about this is when i run the job a 2nd time it works fine.

ACIsnasir is not the account under which SQL Server Agent service runs. However ACIsnasir has sa priveleges. not sure why am I getting ACIsnasir in the error and not the account under which sql server agent runs.
While executing the SSIS package from visial studio it is running. If we execute from Integration services - - -> stored packages - - - -> msdb - - - -package name, the package gets executed.
But when scheduled through jobs it gives the following error in history

I run an ssis task with right click in the BIDS. the task transform data of the tables between sql2005 DB to another sql2005 DB. this is the error I get:

i have a similar task, only diffrent tables that being transfered, same settings. this task run succesfully. for the task that fails it takes a long time to run (something like half an hour, maybe more) and then it falils. the task that succeeds finish fast (something like 5 minutes). the data in the tables that being transeferred in the good task is much smaller than the data in the tables in the failed task.
I am trying to deploy a DTSX package to 32-bit SQL Server 2005 in a 64-bit machine from my installer. I am getting the following error in the SaveToSQLServer method:

However I am not facing this problem when I try to deploy the DTSX package to a 32-bit SQL Server 2005 in a 32-bit machine.

I have two packages which is having parent child relationship.
Package1 is calling Package2, Package2 will download the input files from remote server using COZYROC SFTP Task. then Package1 will execute.
It is working fine in BIDS and SQL Agent job in "DEV" Server. But it is not wroking when i deployed the packages and it's config files and then created a SQL Agent JOB to "QA" Server.

I'm working with 2005 SSIS and am getting the below error associated with a query when I try and set up a package that runs other package tasks. It errors in the Package Name (..) lookup after I enter what appears to be a validate location (sql server) and connection information.
I located a post suggesting to add an mmc certificate but that did not seem to help.
I'm sort of assuming that if it was id/passwd related i'd get a more specific error..

I have problem with SSIS. When I open my packages, I always get an error message which says like this: There were errors while the package was being loaded. The package might be corrupted. See the Error List for details.

If this is a permanent package, contact your DBA to create a project folder.
I have tried to create the package folder on the same path it is trying to save the package. But still i get the same error. Is this a permission issue? I have all rights on sql server. Thanks

The connections which BIDS is complaining about are not even there in the package. I had created these two connections some time ago but then I had removed them from the package and it was working ever since.

Hey, I've a few jobs which call SSIS packages. If I run the SSIS package, it runs fine but if I try to run the job which calls this package, it fails. Can someone help me troubleshoot this issue? None of my jobs that call an SSIS package work. All of them fail.
