Error During Loading Data Form A Falt File Into DB2 Database??ß

Hi,
I have a problem loading data from a flat file into a DB2 Dtabase by using the OLE DB Provider for DB2.
I read the data from a flat file in the unicode format and as soon as the data is to be written in the DB2 database the following error occurs and the loading process is aborted:

I dont know waht those error codes meanand I tried so many things already. The tables in the database are created correctly and also, SSIS can read the data from the database if I use the preview function, but somehow, the program never starts to write data into the database for some reason. Can anyone help me???

Hi, I am designing a site using Visual Web Developer, CSharp and Sql server Express. One the contact page I want to put a form that allows users to enter details about themselves. On clicking the button this will be stored in the database under a table called subscribers. The form will have, name, address, telephone, email fields etc. With the email addresses from the visitors I want to be able to keep them in a newsletter section or similar which is automated so they recevie emails from time to time Could somebody suggest a tutorial which shows how to complete this process using c sharp and sql.

I have a bundling package that runs about 20 other packages. It has been working fine for a while but a couple of days ago it fail with the following message,

I am facing a peculier problem. Problem definition goes like this,
I have one staging DB in which all the tables resides in Primary file and one production DB in which tables resides in 2 secondary files.
Now when iam trying to load the data from the table A in staging which is on primary file to the table A1 in production DB which in secondary file, all the data are going to error log instead of table A1.
Hello, I deployed an SSIS project to my SQL Server. The project I deployed contained two packages. One called the other. After deployment I notice that both packages are indeed in the SQL Server. However when I try to run it I get the error below. This error happens during the "Execute Package Task" and the path the error is pointing at is my local development path, not the one it was deployed to. Is there any way to fix the path? And how can I get it to deploy both packages so it knows where they are when I run it from the server?

I have a csv file with 1.8 million records. Few of the text columns in each row has commas(,) in them and hence those columns are enclosed by " ".
An example record would look like: 123,abc,"abc, city, state",222,...
Now, the 3rd column should be read as: abc, city, state But, it is reading ("abc) into 3rd column, and (city) into 4th column and (state") into 4th column resulting in data errors.
Is there a way to specify that fields are optionally enclosed by " as we do in Oracle?
I have SSIS package which loads excel data in SQL server. Now when I execute the package by double clicking it(GUI Utility for Dtexec) or by running it in SSIS Editor it works great. However if I run it using the command line dtexec.exe then following error arises. Note that machine on which I am executing does not have Microsoft Office installed and is 64 bit.

I am so new to SQL Server 2005 and just studying. Saying that... We use SQL Server 2005 Express edition. Some one sent me a file (info.mdb) and asked me to load the data in this file in to a table called Products and also asked me to load in another table (ProdCat) where id = 'X05'. So being not knowing anyting regarding data loading etc, how should I do this and proceed? The .mdb means its a Access database file? If that is the case, I dont have Access in my machine and what should I do?
I can run this example from SQL Book Online from sql query analyzer. I can build the TestDB database.

I am getting ErrorCode 8 while loading the data from stage to model. I have checked my error view it states that "Member Code is Inactive".
Initially I have loaded same set of data in Model from MDS Stage table but then deleted with ImportType = 5 which removed all the data from the MDM model.
Now i want to load it back but its giving the Error Code 8 .. Before loading the same data i have changed the stage table Importtype to 2 and Importstatusid to 0.
I am trying to load a file using SSIS that contains records with two different layouts in one data file but in the flat file connection I can only specify one layout and this is causing the records with the second layout to be loaded incorrectly.
The different record layouts can be identified by the first character of the record. Example: If Field begins with "A" then assign one layout; "B" assign second layout.
Has anybody come accross this issue, if so some guidence would be appreciated.

I am getting an error message when trying to up to update a database from a form. It appears a simple looking error but I can't seem to see what the problem is Any ideas would be appreciated

I have a Data-Flow task embedded in a Sequence Container (does not fail component on error) on the Control Flow panel of the SSIS designer. This data flow task contains a connection to a Flat File Source -> A Data Transformation -> Into an OLE Db Destination.
The problem is that the Flat File isn't always delimited properly -> the client cannot be relied on to do this.
My question is when the delimiters are messed up, how can I capture the offending error row(s) from the Flat File Source?
What I've tried: 1) Set every column in the source flat file on error to: Redirect Row 2) Added a Script Transformation to pull the description and the record id out of the offending row 3) Added an Error file flat file destination to the end of the flow.
The package always fails on the Flat File Source and never Redirects the offending Row to the error output - I never see my onError Script Transformation go Green, Red, or Yellow - SSIS doesn't let it get there.
I'm really new to SSIS so sorry if this is a super basic question.

I do have the MaxErrorCount set to 1 on the Data Flow Task but still think I should see my script task execute and a log entry be generated.
I am looking for a way to convert the following format into a sql table. The format it is Bib Tex.
Essentially a new row in the table would be for each entry, denoted by an @ logo and each column is denoted by an =, as you can see from the example data no one contains all the possible columns and some fields can be over two lines long.
To load this I was considering loading it into a table as each line being a row. Adding a row number, then a column counting the @ signs in order and essentially grouping each record, then for each group running through and looking for the column keywords 'author' , 'title' etc then splitting the data out into those constituent parts using substring and charindex.

I am trying to load data from one database to another database with in same sql server.Our DBA has created a new db and I am trying to load data in to this new one.But I am getting error in SSIS packages while scheduled as job. The failed job history was not showing much information So I ran the package dirently to get more info on error message.
I was able to transfer around 5 to 6 tables . But I am unable to transfer the final 2 tables. I am thinking its a space issue. Appreciate if somebidy can explain what the real problem is ?

In my current project we are dealing with a lot if Infopath forms of all sizes and complexities. currently they are being saved in Forms library of sharepoint. We need to build a warehouse for SSRS which receives data either from content database or from infopath forms submit with minimum latency. I thought of few alternatives, but, not sure which is most robust and economical. 1. Built c# classes to parse XML of infopath forms and then push data to SQL using ADO.net and SQL stored procedure while item is being added (ItemAdding) to Forms Library. 2. Use CAML queries to extract XML from forms library and then continue with C#/ADO/SQL.. 3. Use SSIS APIs and webservices to massage XML and put it to SQL at ItemAdding event 4. Use CAML queries to generate XML files and stage it to FTP and rest will be done on SSIS.

I'm trying to put in an SQL server database some data extracted from Oracle Server 9i.
During the load process, the "OLE DB Destination" in the task chokes up when it finds a record containing the date '0197-01-01 00:00:00' (i got this by putting the error output to a column of type varchar(50)). I can't use the Condicional Split's date functions to filter this out because they also choke on the strange date.
