I made some Reports with some report parameters for filteration. When I run this report, I can make all changes in look of Reports but can not change look of this parameters it looks like simple Text Boxes with lables
can we change look of this parameter text boxes ??

I'm trying to format a numeric value (in seconds) to the format
h:mm:ss (hours:minutes:seconds).
Example: 89 seconds should formated as 0:01:29
The value is not a date/time value - so I'm not able to use time formatting.
Is there a solution available - any ideas?

Is it possible to setup different font size when a user is browsing or printing a report?
I have a lot of data to print on a report and i need tu use a font size of 7pt which is fine for printing but when the user is looking at the report on the browser a font size of 7pt is a bit too small and the bold doesn't work.

I used a textbox with strikethrough font in my report. In preview, the report has that font and also in Print. But exporting to PDF has no strikethrough font. (Export to excel has this font). Can anybody help to resolve this.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have text in a single table cell where the first field is formatted in italics and the second is in normal?
eg: = Fields!firstname.Value(as italic) & " " & Fields!lastname.Value(as normal)?

I installed Postscript fonts on my local machine and they show up in the font dropdown for Office applications, but when I open a report in Visual Studio 2005 report designer, the Postscript fonts do not display in the font dropdown. How do I get the new fonts to be accessible in the report designer?

how can i do following 3 things
1)Add Total column for Sale and Average column for Profit
2)Sort report by lastMonth of Sale (here 7/1/2007) High to low
3)if last month of sale(here 7/1/2007) is less than second last month here (6/1/2007) whole row should be red

When using the back color property for SSAS 2008 R2, is there a good way to match the number to the desired color? I found some color pickers online, but the numbers don't match the same colors in SSAS. How can I best determine the number needed for the color I want?

I have my main matrix report which has five row groups.
What I'd like to do is have the subtotal at the 4th level have a coloring for the whole row at run-time....so the user can follow from left to right what the 4th level subtotal actually is (the report can get fairly wide).
At design time, you don't even see the rows to the right of the subtotal, you just see the subtotal box.

Have you ever tried the following: change the background color of your body to any other color than white and deploy it. You will see that that body background color is still white.
I'm working on a dashboard which is black so I really need to get this working.
Any ideas?

I have a Matrix report in SSRS and have added the subtotal in the report. Now I would like to change the color of the subtotal to a different color than the matrix report cells. However when I change the color, only the subtotal cell changes color and not the whole row which includes the summarised total. Is it possible to color the entire row in the matrix report?

I have built an SSRS report and fetching my data from an ERP system, previously we have done the same way and the reports are working fine, but only one report which is also working fine but when the values displayed in Preview or Excel, we cannot see values in Excel, when we click on the cell we can see the values in formula bar, but not in the cell. When we select the cell and change the color it will then display the values. In this report many of the values are displayed correctly, but some are not displayed, so every time we need to change the color of entire report. This is causing issues to the end users.

This color formatting would repeat for remaining rows in the matrix. I tried to select the entire row in the matrix, selected "Background Color" option and in "Expression" window, I entered "=IIf(RowNumber(nothing) MOD 2, "White","LightBlue")".This resulted in the color formatting of columns in the matrix report.

FYI: I am able to change the border color for each text box but not able to do for entire table report.
Also i tried by clicking the table report item & then to properties window and changed the border color to black but still there is no change.
I have created a matrix report having "Probability" in Row and "Impact" in Column and "Risk ID" in Data Part .
Now the problem which I am facing is I need to fill matrix with different color value based on combination of Probability and Impact.
I am able to write the expression in "Fill" area of "Risk_ID" text box but the problem is only those text box gets colored which are having Risk-Id value in it like shown below.I want all text box to be colored even if no Risk_Id is there in any text box.
I am trying writing the correct logic so that all text box gets colored even if there is no Risk _Id in it.
I am displaying the red line in the beginning of the current week column in the matrix table. But for few resources the red line is missing. For Example in below screenshot, refer the 'Adrian Larkin' resource. Here is the SSRS report border expression which is comparing the [TimeByDay] with the current Week First Monday Date to display the red bar -
=IIf(Fields!TimeByDay.Value = DATEADD("d", -(WeekDay(Today(),2))+1, Today()), "Red", "Black")"
Here is the dataset result set. If you refer the column [TimeByDay], it has no record for the date 11/05/2015 for the Adrian resource as he has no assignment for the date 11-05-2015.display the red missing line red bar using the expression or any other solution.

and then the next record background color is gray ... and so on

Hi,
I am running SQL 6.5 and 7.0 utilities on my NT 4.0 SP 5 machine. All of a sudden the query outputs in ISQL or query analyser are garbage. The font is overlaying each other, so that the only way I can view query output is by using the grid output selection in SQL 7.0 query analyser. This is the second company I've worked for where this issue has suddenly occured. I have reinstalled 6.5 and 7.0 to no avail. This is obviously some OS problem. Does anyone know how to overcome this?

I have made a database. And three tables db_ka, db_kha, and db_ga. Each tables have names stored in NEPALI LANGUAGE. I want SQL query which can give output of the name starting with "ka". HERE, "ka" is not in ENGLISH, it is stored in NEPALI language, hence, another font, [Preeti Font].

I have a report that uses a Garamond font and it renders correctly in HTML, but when the report is converted to PDF, the font changes (I believe to a variation of Arial, but that seems irrelevant). My Operations team has installed the Garamond font on both the web server as well as the Report Server, but the problem is still occurring.

throughout the program - Enterprise Manager, Query Tool, etc.
I have just re-installed 6.5 and the fonts are way too small.
Can anyone tell me how this is done?

How come the fonts available in Visual Studio Reporting Services is different from the ones in Word? I need add some embedded commands to a report and in order for the receiving application to be able to interpret these commands they need to be in Courier (stupid I know).
How can I achive this? Is there some way to add new fonts to VS?

Need help. I'm trying to format one of the field bold but need to do this in the expression. This is the example:
=Format(Fields!CMVendor.Value,"Bold") & chr(10) & Fields!CMContractNo.Value
Because I have two fields separated by line feed (chr(10)), I need to format the first field as bold. Obviously, that Format(...,"Bold") does not work. Anybody has came across this before, please enlighten.

We are currently using reporting services to display reports in our application.
Amongst the reports there is one that shows barcodes (using an idautomation font).
We've installed the font on every pc that uses the software, and it works on all but 4.
Now we've checked the following:
The user signs in on another pc and it works. So not user related
The user uses the font in a word document. So nothing wrong with the font itself.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
I would appreciate it.

Is there any way to use a font size smaller than 8pt? Believe it or not... I need to go down to a 6pt font for a report.

I am trying to query a calendar table that has the [start] datetime of an event and then a [title] of the event. I am trying to display them as;* 8:00 AM Get to work* Independance daysome of the events have a start time and some only have a date. the ones that do not have a start time have a start time of 12:00:00 How do I query the two fields and only show the start time & title of the events that have a start time and just the title for the ones that do not have a start time.. I've tried this...select Event = (CONVERT(CHAR(8),start,8) +' ' + title) from Calendar where CONVERT(CHAR(8),start,8) <> '12:00:00'It does display the start and event title but only for the ones that have a start time.
