I'm trying to create a WHERE statement that will calculate values from our current fiscal year to the last complete month.I'm using code that was created for us that does the calculations for our entire fiscal years. I thought I had fixed the WHERE statement to work like we wanted last year, but it appears to be broken now after trying it again in January and February. I'm guessing my WHERE statement only works for March and up, but how to get it to work for every month. Most attempts I'm trying it's just returning very large and inaccurate values.
I included my WHERE statement below of what I originally had that worked last year. The @BeginYear/Month/etc are retrieved from a different table and @Month is just set to MONTH(GETDATE())-1.

I have used SSRS 2005 to create a matrix and need to add a % of variance column. Is this possible? I hope I'm missing something simple. Basically the report should look like this:

The column group on the matrix is using the Per column because the accounting periods cross over calendar months.
If the CostEventPrice < 10,00$ then TicketSalesPrice = CostEventPrice + 2,00$ If the CostEventPrice between 10,00$ and 20,00$ then TicketSalesPrice = CostEventPrice + 3,00$ If the CostEventPrice > 20,00$ then TicketSalesPrice = CostEventPrice + 4,00$

I have to produce a report to calculate no of days based on user input start date and end date. I have tried to explain below.

I calculated datediff + 1 and got sub jobs days BUT
say financial director wants to see Title of 'Sub Jobs' with 'Days' from 1st Dec to 31st Dec
so on paper I calulated as :

Now I want to be able to create an "update" statement like "UPATE tbl2 SET Col2 = age + sex + race" dynamically and execute this UPDATE statement. I have questions table and questions are categorized. I want to query say Top 10 questions but with some percentage based on category. For example, if I have 10 questions in category 1 and 50 questions in category 2 than when I select Top 10 with some percentage I want to come out more questions from category 2 than category 1.
I'd like to understant the Percent Log Used behavior... I monitored the Percent Log Used. For a specific database, it was 50 % used. I backup up the transaction log and the Percent Log Used was still 50 % used. For another database, the log was 60 % used. After the backup, it was 80 % used!!!! I a bit of newbie making reports and I cant figure out how to calculate the Percent of Total on a report. Assuming I have a field in my datatable called Color, I simply want to create a report that counts the occurences of each color and then perform a calculation as to what percent of the total that each of the colors make up. Basically a report that looks like this....

I am creating a web application that uses a using a web service to get data for my reports. Since the webservice only accepts 1 parameter called "sql" (the sql select statement), I am using the report's query string to get the data.
Here is the data source and dataset info I am using:
DataSource Name: WebService Type: XML Connection string: http://localhost/myWeb/myWebService.asmx Credentials: No credentials
DataSet Query tab: Name: WebService Data source: WebService Command type: Text Query String: <Query><SoapAction>......</SoapAction></Query>
Here is a sample of the <Query> string that I use when I first build the report:

Then I want to attach that new <Query> statement to the report and run it. How can I set this information in the report? I can't find anything that talks about it, but there must be some way!
