Annoying Scroll Behavior With Groups

May 12, 2008

I have a report that has rolled-up groups with the "expand row" + sign on each row. Everything works great except when you click the + the report scrolls everything above the + off the screen which completely re-shifts the users context... which nobody likes... how can we turn this "feature" off please?

thank you!

How To Enable Auto-scroll By Middle Clicking

Oct 8, 2015

In SQL Server 2008 when I click the middle button I could scroll up and down(scroll wheel) by just flicking the mouse. We just upgraded to 2012 and I can't do that on my Lenovo ThinkPad. I am using an external wired usb mouse(Intelli Mouse) to scroll.

I have SQL server 2008 and 2012 installed on the same machine scrolling works in 2008 but not in 2012.

ReportViewer Control Remove Scroll Bar Keep Document Map

Nov 7, 2007

I am accessing remote reports via the Web ReportViewer control. I need to keep the document map on the report but I want to get rid of the extra set of scroll bars. Setting AsyncRendering to false removes the scroll bars and the document map. Is there a way to get rid of the scroll bars and keep the document map?

Multi Value Parameter And Horizontal Scroll Bar Covering Data

Jan 16, 2008

I am working with a dynamically populated multi value parameter drop down list. In the case where there is only one value in the list, the horizontal scroll bar (due to the length of the value) covers up the first, and in this case only choice. The users cannot see it. This problem is only when running in report manager. It works ok in Visual Studio.

As a work around, I can add a dummy row, which then at least the users can see one row of data and then scroll down but, I would rather not do that, if there is another solution. Another option would be to set the default on the parameter so it is automatically selected but, in the case where there are many values, I do not want a default set.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Turn Report Auto-scroll Feature Off When Toggling Drill-down

Aug 9, 2007

Is there a way to turn IE7's auto scroll off so that every time you drill down by clicking on one of the "+" toggle buttons the report doesn't recenter itself. We find this window jumping/scrolling highly annoying to watch.

This problem does NOT occur in FFox, just Microsoft's browsers.

We are displaying this report running on another server running Visual Studio 2005's ReportViewer control in an aspx (ASP.NET) page.

We are using SSRS 2005, std edition.
FFox 2.0.0.6, IE7.

Will be glad to post more info if requested.

Reporting Services :: Edge Browser Doesn't Have Scroll Bars

Jul 30, 2015

Just upgraded to Windows 10.  My SSRS reports, SharePoint 2013 integrated, still work but have no scroll bars. I can use the touchscreen to scroll left and right. Mouse wheel or any other attempts to scroll the report view don't work.
