How To Populate A ArrayList With A IDataReader

In my data access layer class I have Populate methods on the bottom.
One of the the objects, color, is an ArrayList, how do I write that? 
 
       private Product PopulateProduct(IDataReader r)
        {
            Product product = new Product();

            product.BrandId = Convert.ToInt32(r["brandId"]);
            product.BrandName = Convert.ToString(r["brandName"]);
            product.Color = whatGoesHere?  (r["color"]);  return product;

        }
