Historic Prediction And Prediction Steps

After building a model in BI, I want to view the chart of model in mining model viewer, in the chart tab I can just see one prediction value that means for my model do prediction for some time slice and in prediction steps I can specify how many steps, I want to show this chart
In mining model viewer tab we can see the chart of prediction also decision tree and the chart is for showing all of value prediction, and with choosing prediction steps we can specify that show just one value prediction or two or several values. But sometime I can see just one value in chart and sometime I can see several values in chart,
This difference is for my data or no?
And also for viewing historic prediction I should choice €œshow historic prediction€? and before that I should set
Two parameters: Historic_ model _count and historic _model _count,
But I can€™t see historic prediction (sometime this happens)
Please help me.
Is It Possible To Format An Expression?
Sep 12, 2005I have an expression based upon 2 fields in a view that I want to be able to divide and then multiply by a number. Whenever I do the division portion of the calculation all I get are 0 & 1's. I was hoping to use the percentage in other calculations.
Is there something similar to FORMAT(X/Y,0.00)?
(vwLbrPosSum.PosMin/vwMinByEmp.TotMin) x (a)vwLbrPosSum.PosMin or (b) 2400 or (c)vwMinbyEmp.TotMin - 2400
If the person worked more than 40 hrs I could allocate the OTMins to the different positions in labor reporting.

I have been trying with convert and FormatDateTime, but can't seem to get this to work in the Report layout editor. I would like to know how to do it here, rather than changing my query.

Using A Textbox's Value For Format Expression Of Other Textboxes
May 3, 2007I'm calculating the format string for currency values based upon what's selected as a report currency parameter value. Just to mention, it's a call to a .net dll. Because this call is in every textbox in the details section of the report,I believe it's getting called for every textbox that is displayed on the report - but I really don't need to calculate it at this level. The format string will only be one way per report execution.
Is it possible to only call this function once, stuff the format expression in a textbox (or some method that's similar) and then reference that ReportItems!textbox3.Value for the format string of other textboxes? I threw the calculation in a textbox in the report header and also body, but I get an issue either way:
Report item expressions can only refer to other report items within the same grouping scope or a containing grouping scope
I understand that it doesn't seem possible, but can anyone help me think out of the box? I see that a database call and another dataset holding the FormatString might work... I'll try this out, but in the meantime, is there a solution to not do this?

The Expressions property of the task provides the ability to configure the SelectedDatabases property of the task using an expression. The properties pane shows that the type of the SelectedDatabases property should be a "(Collection)" (which is edited using the 'Object Collection Editor').
How do I create an expression to configure the SelectedDatabases property? Can I build the collection in text? Or do I need to provide a variable of type System.Object that contains a collection type (and if so exactly what type should it contain)?

Mar 28, 2013We are using SSRS 2012. We have a report that conditionally formats a background color for some cells. The report renders properly in a browser and in Excel 2003 format. In Excel format all cells after the first one that meets the condition are highlighted, even if only one cell should.
The sample expression that triggers this condition looks like this:

Reporting Services :: Running Value Expression Within Lookup Expression In SSRS?
Oct 28, 2015I have created 1 report with 2 datasets. This report is attached to the 1st dataset.For example,1st one is "Smallappliances", 2nd is "Largeappliances".
I created a tablix and, the 1st column extracts Total sales per Sales person between 2 dates from 1st dataset (Small appliances). I used running values expression and it works fine.
Now, I would like to add another column that extracts Total sales per sales person between 2 dates from 2nd dataset (Large appliances). I am aware that I need to use Lookup expression and it is giving me the single sales value rather than the total sales values. So, I wanted to use RunningValue expression within lookup table to get total sales for large appliances.
This is the lookup expression that I added for the 2nd column.
=Lookup(Fields!salesperson.Value,Fields!sales_person.Value,RunningValue(Fields!sales_amount.Value,
sum, " sales_person"),
"Largeappliances").
I get this error when I preview the report.An error occurred during local report processing.The definition of the report is invalid.An unexpected error occurred in report processing.

I am using Time series algorithm for forecasting.
We are Quite concerned about the accuracy of Prediction output.
For Example Our Data is like this

002 01/01/2001 59
002 02/01/2001 70
003 03/01/2001 47
If I write my Prediction Query to predict for 100 th time step.Its giving me out put like
Date Perf
03/01/2015 47.000000115
We are not sure about the accuracy of the values. Is it possible to use trend information as input to my model and make my prediction based on that.
I don€™t know how to do that? Can anyone help?

Multicolumns Prediction

Here's the thing base on AdvantrueWorks: case - orders, nested - products.
I'd like to select-predict models and their identifiers.
So, I added new id column to the relational view.
And then I added the column to the nested table in my structure as predict only.
The problem - all predictions changed dramatically.
For example when I run my query again:
SELECT PREDICT([Association].[Products], 5)
From [Association]
NATURAL PREDICTION JOIN
(SELECT (SELECT 'Touring Tire Tube' AS [Model]) AS [Products]) AS t
I got the new column i added, but the results are far different then before (and incorrect).
Is there a easy way to workaround it?

I am using time series agorithm.I need standard deviation in %. I am using SELECT StudID, PREDICTSTDEV([Perf]) FROM [Stud_Model].This one is giving me the standard deviation like this

But I need like this

001 +50%
002 +51%(From The Previous) like that.
Is it Possible.

Does anyone know if the following is possible:
I want to add a column to a table that contains the predicted value according to a decision tree mining model. (I know that this is possible). But now I would like that when a new row is added to this table, and every column except the prediction column is filled in manually, can ms sql server add the predicted value automatically for this row?
I know it is possible to execute a Singleton query for this kind of single prediction, but I would like to integrate this in my data table, because for now my steps would be:
- Create the table with one prediction column
- Add the known values of all columns for one row
- Use singleton query in Mining model prediction tab to know the predicted value
- Fill in the predicted value manually in my table.
I hope my question is clear.

Association Model Prediction Not Using Itemsets
Dec 31, 2006I have a market basket model using associations. It generated several dozen itemsets. However when I attempt to run a singleton prediction like this:

the resulting predictions don't take the itemsets into account. Instead, the predictions consist of the ranked products in the training set, ordered by frequency. This appears to happen regardless of the precise query specified within the "natural prediction join".
What's going on here and how do I generate a singleton prediction which makes use of the itemsets?

I want to buid a query that has two or more items on the left of the rules, example: E = Existing, C = Existing -> B = Existing
