when I installed SQL Server I set username and password to windows default which is Administrator and no password

Hi,I need some help. I am getting this error after I complete the asp.net register control and click on the continue button. It crashed when it tries to get it calls this Profile property((string)(this.GetPropertyValue("Address1")));When I look at the stack, it is coming from my ProfileWrapper class which adds user address, city, etc.. from a class which inherits fromSystem.Web.Profile.ProfileBase. From the stack, it is calling the System.Web.Profile and crashed when it tries to open a connection atSystem.Data.ProviderBase.DbConnectionPool.GetConnection(DbConnection owningObject). I already migrated all aspnet_user, aspnet_roles, etc.. and don't get any connection errors. It is only when I try to get the profile data. I am using ODBC (ODBCLink/SE) to connect to HP3000 system;Retrieving the data into Microsoft Excel goes fine usingMicrosoftQuery.But if I try to use SQLServer2000-DTS on Windows2003 to do the import,it always fails and gives the message:"ODBCLINKSE does not allow multiple thread"Does anybody knows how to do that?I need to synchronize data in HP3000 into my database in SQLServer; andI dont see any other ways to do that besides using DTS-scheduled-jobs.Pls help..
Hello everyone, I've been searching the forum for three hours now and I couldn't find anything that helped me. First I thought I didn't install the SQL server properly, I now found out that it is installed properly. I am using VWD 2008 Express Edition. I could access the aspnetdb in the SQLExpress server. I could modify entries and create new databases. So the server obviously works.
Problem -> I cannot access the WebSiteAdmin modul ... for no apparent reason, it always gives me a timeout.
If you restart the tool by clicking the asp.net icon in the traylist stop it, then retry over the button in the VWD, then I did that a dozen times. I restart the tool and then access it five seconds later, no matter what I do I always get a time out.
Any help is appreciated, I can't solve this and I really really need it. Thanks a lot in advance.

I have created a report project and deployed in my report server. After deployment i also viewed all my reports in asp.net application using report viewer control.
Now my problem is i want to move my reports to another report server.. how to acheive this ?. Also database name also changed. now i also want to change connection string of all my reports in new server ?. Please let me know how to change the connection string for all my reports in a single attempt ?

Hi, I had an old web application created during asp.net 1.1 and it have a connection problem with the sql server 2005 when it is mirgrated to a new webserver with dotnet framework 2.0 platform. I have enabled the remote access(TCP/IP and named pipes) in sql server 2005, did all the neccessary things, check whether the TCP/IP is enabled, named pipe is enabled... I created another web application using VS 2005. I have an EXCEL file in 2003 / 2007 version. It contains some data. I want to import the data using SSIS into SQL Server 2005 (x64) database table. I have taken "EXCEL FILE SOURCE" and "SQL Server DESTINATION". It was failed on importing data. Surprisingly it works fine in SQL Server 2005 (x32). Can you please explain why it is NOT woking on (x64) ?

Hi, I was using an accounting software which uses sql server 2005 express and while I was processing a transaction my machine got stuck and didn't allow to do any operation and I had to restart the machine.I've connected to a domain and after I logged in to the software I can process all other transactions but Couldn't process the one I tried when the machine got stuck. It says connection failure and Select * command dosent work. the software runs in the domain and it need .net frame work 2.o and Windows Installer 3.0 for installation.(Sage Pastel Evolution).I removed sage and Sql server completely and reinstalled but the result was same. Then I applied a patch for clearALLPool but I'm in the simmillar situation

if i run my executable file on my station, it works perfectly fine. But when i try to run the executable file from any other station, the following occurs:

The only thing in there is "SQL Server Error and Usage Reporting"... The other thing I am greatly concerned with is this: All is want is for my webpages to be able to access my database for user authentication. I DO NOT want to grant the internet rights to remote connect to my database.
Hi there, i am working on SQL JDBC 2005 version 1.1. I have a liferay portal database located at server 1, wsrp portlets' database located at server 2 (with instance name instance1). The producer (liferay) have to create a connection with server 2 (use connection string) to authenticate the consumer. If the registration properties is valid, then the consumer are able to consume the wsrp portlet. (Note that i use tomcat as web container)

My connection string pattern is : "jdbcqlserver://{0}:{1};User={2};Password={3};DatabaseName={4}" Which {0}: server name
{1}: port, ...... for ex: jdbcqlserver://server2instance1,2345:2345;User=sa;Password=Sa;DatabaseName=mydb
Is my string correct ?
Note that the error occur intermittent, not everytime.

hi, I have settup up sql mail and did the following: 1. created an E-mail account and configured Out look by creating a pop3 mail profile. tested it by sending and receiving mail, that is ook 2. I Created one domain account for MSsqlserver and Sql Agent service. both services use same account and start automatically in the control panel-services 3. I used the profile that I created in outlook to test the sql mail but got an error: Error 22030 : A MAPI error ( error number:273) occurred: MapiLogon Ex Failed due to MAPI Error 273: MAPI Logon Failed
I really do not know what went wrong. I followed the steps from bol and still having a problem. Am I missing something.
I do have a valid email account I do have a valid domain account I tested outlook using the email account and it worked. so why sql server does not recognise MAPI.
My next question, How to configure MAPI in Sql server if what I did was wrong.
Hi, I have 2 windows 2000 server in cluster with sql server 2000 enterprise edition installed. I have activated the Server-Requested Encryption by using the sql server network utility (Force Protocol Encryption). After this, I have stoped sql server service. But I can't start it at this moment. The error is: 19015: The encrypton is required but no available certificat has been found.
I get the following error and have been trying to figure out why I keep getting it. Initially, I had placed my project under wwwroot folder and ran it under IIS and it gave this error. Then I moved it to my local C drive and same thing. I am sharing this project with two other co-workers and all our config files and code files are same...they don't get this error but I do. I checked that SQL Server Client Network Utility has TCP/IP and the 'Named Pipes' enabled. I thought maybe I have setting in the Visual Studio 2005 that I'm not aware of that's causing this problem...it can't be the server since my co-workers aren't having this error and can't be anything in the code since all of us are sharing this project through vss. I dont' think using different version of .net framework can create this error. I changed the version from 2.0 to use 1.1x and it gave same error... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
