Integration Services :: SSIS COM Error Object Information Is Available

When i use single object variable to pass it to two sequence container having 2 different Foreach ADO Enumerator; seems like the scope of the variable is completed once sequence container 1 is done and second fails with below error
Foreach ADO Enumerator
Error: COM error object information is available. Source: "ADODB.Recordset" error code: 0x800A0BCD Description: "Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.".
Does we have to set any property so that object variable scope persist until both loops are completed.
It works fine if i push the data to 2 different object variables.

Just installed VS 2005 & SQLServer 2005 clients on my workstation. When trying to create a new Integration Services Project and start work in the designer receive the MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' dialog box with message "Creating project 'Integration Services project1'...project creation failed."
Previously I had SQLServer 2000 client with the little VS tool that came with it installed. Uninstalled these prior to installing the 2005 tools (VS and SQLServer).
I'm not finding any information on corrective action for this error.
Any one have this problem and found the solution?

I have one scenario. I am calling all columns result set to an variable and inside for each loop container using script task to get message about how many columns are coming in the loop.
At last using send mail task to send automated mails to group of people,but issue it is taking only person's mail id and coming out of loop.
how to call object type variable ?

I built a small package two years ago that uses Flat File Sources to copy in small text data files. Each source connection object has a UNC path to flat text files on another server. The source system changed, so I opened the package and updated the UNC path in one Connection Manager object, and clicked OK. The Flat File Source Editor that uses this source seemed to be able to see the new location when I clicked "Preview". Then I went back to the file source, and the connection had reverted back to the original one. it would not save the new UNC path.
I am using SQL Server 2012 SP2 with SSDT (run as admin). I closed the package in SSDT, edited the connection strings using XMLnotepad, and was then able to open, test, build and deploy the package.
It seems that the Source object will not let itself be changed. The other option is to delete it and recreate it, but I didn't want to remap the fields.

I've got this issue with a query in SSIS. From a table in SQL Server I'm getting over 25000 different identifiers. These identifier are associated to many values in a table in one Oracle Database. This is the schema that I have implemented for doing this.
The problem is that some days the identifiers can be over 45000, and at this point perform a loop for every one is not the best solution (It can take to much time to get the result). Previously I have performed another query where from the SQL statement.
I am creating and sending a unique row with all the values concatenated and then I have recover this unique string from an object and use it to create the query in the ODBC Source that invoke the table in Oracle: something like this:
'Select * from Oracle_table' + @string_values
with @string_values = 'where value in (........)'. It works good because the number of values is small enough to be used, like 250. But in this case I can not use this approach because the number is really big and obviously the DBA of Oracle is going to cancel the query.
So I wonder, how can I iterate over the object getting only a few number of values everytime, something like 300 or maximum 500, to avoid the cancellation of the query but at the same time doing the minimum number of loops.

I've created a SSIS package which takes a matrix from Excel file and insert into SQL table. It works perfectly! However, if I would add a new column into that matrix in Excel. Unpivot tool should take into process dynamically. Is there a way to provide this automatically?

I'm unable to find a solution to this truncation error on google.This happens only on one field which has comments. The offending Excel row/column has text that was entered in two lines i.e they entered the data and pressed "enter" and wrote a new line in the same row.Im using an Excel file source in SSIS and an OLEDB Destination (SQL Server) but one column keeps erroring out and I have tried to do the following:
1) Change output column width in advanced editor (still errors)
2) Data conversion tool between the source and destination (still errors)

I am using SSIS 2008 R2 & SQL Server 2008 R2. When I run the package in bids it runs fine but when I try to execute this package from agent job I get the below error message. In the job execution options I tried using 32-bit runtime that didn't work either.

We have a 2014 SQL Server. I have a SSIS package written in VS 2008 where I am simply importing an .xlsx into an existing table via a mapped drive. I have it working on my development machine using the 2007 Access 32 bit driver from [URL]..... Our DBA is trying to schedule the package to execute on a schedule job on the 2014 server and we received an error. He installed the 32 bit driver and still getting the error. I set the package to run in 32 bit and we are still getting the error.

I have am having some issues bulk inserting from a flat file (CSV) to the database. I have also tried this by using the import and export wizard and get the following error:
I dont understand what the issue. The table that i have created looks like this:

I do get a warning: Truncation may occur due to inserting data from data flow column """"KB Available""" with a length o..... in that column there are max 5 varchar: "yes" and "no". The """"KB Available""" is the column name in the flat file (CSV), I have made checkmark in Column names in the first data row.

I can preview the SQL command in the OLE DB Source Editor and bring back all columns and results just fine but when I click on the Columns I get

SSIS package working fine directly.I got following error while execute SSIS package from C# console application.

I'm trying to execute a SSIS package via proxy user but I keep getting the following error message regardless of I have tried to do to fix it, I have done the following so far:-
1. Recreated the proxy user
2. Retyped the password, under credentials

For the life of me I cannot figure out why i'm getting the "Object Refence Not Set To an Instance of An Object" error after I try and create a Report Services project in Business Intelligence Studio. I've followed all of the steps in similar posts such as checking the ReportServer/web.config file but everything checks out.
Does anyone have any other ideas as to how I can get rid of this annoying error and start creating some reports?

Trying to move data in Sybase IQ from one database (prod) to qa for a table. Using ADO.NET connection and just one Data Flow task , source , destination. Using Sybase IQ driver.
Error:[ADO NET Destination [2]] Error: An exception has occurred during data insertion, the message returned from the provider is: Unable to cast object of type 'System.Decimal' to type 'System.Char[]'.
Nether source or target table have column with data type Decimal or Char. All types I have in table are numeric (54,15) , bigint, varchar, date.

I've been working on an SSIS package trying to load some data and the archive sequence is faulty. I've been trying to load a few tables created in a previous sequence into a local archive file and I've been getting the error "Could not find a part of the path."
The results aren't telling me what it's finding last and so I don't know where to start.
And the source DOES have data in it. It's something between the source and the destination.

I am developing a table driven ETL system, where I store large PL/SQL queries in a varchar(max) field. I read the field into an object variable at the package level using a SQL task. Next I have a C# script task that creates a connection to our Oracle database using the Oracle provider. I am trying to set the Command.Text property to the PL/SQL statement I've stored in the package level object variable, but I'm having difficulty getting the Pl/SQL text back out of the object.
I've tried Object.value.tostring, but it just returns a generic "system__text". how I can proceed?

I have a SSIS package where im importing data from MS access database file .MDB. I chose Microsoft JET 4.0 OLEDB provider. When i select a table and preview the data, im getting the below error.
Error at Data Flow Task [OLE DB Source [1]]: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E09.
Error at Data Flow Task [OLE DB Source [1]]: Opening a rowset for "_tblDateDateEarnedMismatch" failed. Check that the object exists in the database.
But it is working for the other tables .
