Reporting Services :: Identify Latest Address Using FIRST And Date Commands

I would like to display the most recent seasonal address on my report. Here is the scenario,
I can search the SSMS and identify all available addresses. the recent sometimes appear at the top, in middle or at the bottom of the address list.I used a stored PROC to and a tempdb to find the initial search of all the addressesThen I used top 1 to select the address that I'm looking for. For situation where I have multiple addresses, is there a way to identify the latest address using FIRST and date commands.

I just moved our SSRS server from one machine to another. It was sending our report emails from a service account. So when my end users get the emailed report it was from a service account (reports@blah.com) .
Now that I moved the DB to another server - the reports get emailed successfully - but they are being sent from my email address!
I have checked the rsreportserver config file. I also checked in the report server smtp setup and they both show the service account. I even checked the subscription owners and accounts.
SSRS is using my account, but I can't find where it's getting it from. Where else can I look?

In my report, I have a field for AIM screen names. I need to make this field a hyperlink so user can click on it and send an instant message to the clicked screen name using AIM.
I added this to the "Jump to URL:" box in the Navigation tab but it didn't work:
="aim:goim?screenname=" & Fields!AIM.Value
If I type this in the URL box on IE then the AIM window opens so I don't know what's wrong.

I have a single data driven subscription that is a batch of 250 subscriptions running on SQL Server 2008 R2. All the parameter values for the report are sourced from a database table. During the execution of the data driven subscription 5 of those subscriptions failed due to timeout error.
Final Status as shown on Subscription screen "Done: 250 processed of 250 total; 5 errors."
The SSRS log file has the subscription GUID which is a single record in the reporting server database tables. How can i identify the individual failed subscriptions? Is there an easy way or a work around that i should implement to identify the failed subscriptions?

Got a Table_A in the form of:
Cust_ID
Cust_Name
and another Table_B as:
Recording_Date
Invoice_ID
Cust_ID
Cust_Address
In such a case let's say I need a View to represent the columns:
Cust_ID (From Table_A)
Cust_Name (From Table_A)
Cust_Address (From Table_B)
However, with the Customers changing their addresses and having multiple records of different dates in Table_B how to reflect the Latest address of the same in the requisite View?In other words Cust_Id (AB), Cust_Name (CD), who as per Table_B have 100 records with three different addresses (EF, GH & IJ) spread over two years. How to fetch the only latest address in this case? i.e. a record in View_C as:
Cust_ID
Cust_Name
Cast_Address
AB
CD
IJ

I need to hide the address bar in the SSRS report pop-up using the JavaScript. I tried using below property

I have written a simple routine to do some address checking between sources. The business owner wanted the check done to the address as a whole and to report the address' that did not return a match. The comparison works perfectly fine.
Well, now the customer has come back wanting to know what element(s) of the address make the match fail
Here's the basic address compare:

FROM Full_Address_Map fam

You can see that we are building the address by sticking the 5 columns together with a space in between to create a single string. We are then doing the same thing with the other source data and simply comparing the string. This worked perfectly and was nice and simple... until the customer decided he wanted to see the element(s) causing the issue.
For example, let's say there is an address of '123 Main ST Dallas Texas United States' in one source, but it's '123 Main Dallas Texas United States' in the other. The customer wants to know that it is the road type (ST) that caused the mismatch.
Now, I wrote a bunch of queries to try and single out each element in order to determine if it is the one causing the issue or not. It seems to work partially, but I don't believe it is the best approach and it doesn't work if more than one column is the culprit.

A date field in a report returns the date value as:
2015-07-01 13:30:27.000
Is there any way I can script this to appear as:
01 July 2015 (or 01-07-2015 or 01/07/2015) - basically to cut out the hours, minutes and seconds?
The best I have managed is: CONVERT (varchar(17),DATE,113) AS Date1 but this still leaves me with:
01 July 2015 13:30

How do you Write an expression to Return the date value based on the most recent date only?
Eg. Date 10-7-2015, action - done, notes - all items fixed.
Date 4-5-2016, action - not yet done, notes - buying parts
All these dates are returned based on a search parameter based on a project number. I only want the most current date and associated fields displayed.

I have a QA Deployment Date field that is being returned in a custom report I created. I also found a sample date range parameter:
What I want to accomplish:
I want to select a From and To Date and filter the report to only display the rows that have the QA Deployment Date within the selected range.
For example.. I want to select From Date (8/1/2105) and To Date (8/31/2015) and I only want to return only the results that have a QA Deployment date between that selected range.

I have a table here. I want find a way of getting the latest date, when the code is the same. If the Declined date is null. Then I still want the latest date. E.g. ID 3.
If the declined date is filled in. Then I want to get the row, when the Datein column value is greater then the declined date only.
I tried grouping it by max date, but i got an error message when trying this out. Against the code
WHERE MAX(Datein) > Declined
An aggregate may not appear in the WHERE clause unless it is in a subquery contained in a HAVING clause or a select list, and the column being aggregated is an outer reference. What do I need to do to get both my outputs working?

My requirement is to get the latest start date after a gap in a month for each id and if there is no gap for that particular id minimum date for that id should be taken….Given below the scenario

I have to display the last temperature reading from an activity table for all the dates in a selected date range.So if I select the date range from 09/01/2012 to 09/30/2012, the results should look like this:
Date Temperature
09/01/2012 73.5
09/02/2012 75.2
09/03/2012 76.3
09/04/2012 73.3
09/05/2012 77.0
09/06/2012 74.5
and so on.
I am using this to get the dates listed:

Not sure if I will be able to get the answer I need on this forum but hopefully I will!
We have a previous report that uses the code:
AND T1."Decision_Date" BETWEEN '2005-07-01 00:00:00.000' AND '2006-06-30 00:00:00.000' AND T1."Decision_Type_Description"
With this the report was run with the "static" dates, the new report (in MS reporting services) requires that the user be able to enter in the start date range and the end date range.
I have come up with something like:
(T1."Decision_Date" = @Start_Year) AND (T1."Decision_Date" = @End_Year)
But not working. Can anyone assist?

I have a huge problem with reporting services..
For any reports I am running it interprets all of my dates as US format.
for instance I'm using the following code snippet to specify the date range of a report
CAST(@FromYear + '-01-' + @FromMonth AS DATETIME) AS froom MIN(allpartmaster.snlcat) AS cat, DATEADD(dd, - 1, DATEADD(mm, 1, CAST(@ToYear + '-01-' + @ToMonth AS DATETIME))) AS toooo
these are then used to not only limit the sql statement's return set but also as labels on the report for clairfication.
parameters are of string type but are passed the likes of
@FromMonth = '06'
@FromYear = '2006'
@ToMonth = '03'
@ToYear = '2007'
Now I run the report on my developemtn machine with out any problems the above returns
froom = '01/06/2006' the 1st of june 2006
toooo = '31/03/2007' the 31st of March 2006
now when the report is deployed and run on the server the above returns
froom = '06/01/2006' 6th of January 2006
toooo = '02/02/2007' 2nd of Feb 2007
so the dates are being displayed in the correct format for what they are.. but the actual processing of the reports on the report server is flipping them to US format initially and then back to UK format to display them.
I'm at a loss to understand why.. my browser's language settings are UK and my server's windows regional settings at UK as well...
does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

I have a problem with Date/Time parameters. When I try to preview reports locally, I get the following error message for dates past the 12th of a month:
An error occured during local report processing. The value provided for the report parameter 'Date' is not valid for its type.
My report is set to de-CH. If I enter a date into the datepicker in Swiss/German format (dd.mm.yyyy) Visual Studio changes them to mm/dd/yyyy but somehow tests them against dd.mm.yyyy and throws an error.
Windows language is German, SQL Server and Visual Studio are in English.
I installed the German language pack for Visual Studio and switched over to German to no avail. Changing the report language to en-US did not work either.

I am attempting to create a subscription that will send a report whose name would have been formatted to the following: ReportName_MMDDYYYY.
I know this can be done by creating a Windows File Share subscription type, but in this case, I would need to use E-Mail.
In this scenario, the user will receive the email and included, the file formatted as described above.
Is there a way to get it done ?

Since migrating Reporting Services from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008, the Last Run date, visible on the Details view of reports in a folder under Report Manager, has been blank. I would hope that this is supposed to be populated and equivalent to the "When Run" date visible in the 2005 version of Report Manager. Any setting that needs to be configured in order for this to show, or if this has been reported as a bug?

Below is list of Date/Time which is my output in SQL Management Studio. When I move this into SSRS and use the DateTime custom function it shows the the Date/Time correctly if there is a time element. However it's defaulting the 00:00:00.000 to 12:00:00 PM which is incorrect.
I would like the SSRS to show as Format dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm but still show the 00:00 element.
