How Can I change the position of Start Date and End Date.I can't change order of other three parameter Select Institutions, Select Author and Course Pack Names parameter because they are internally related to each other(forward dependencies are there).

Apr 28, 2015Is there a support of printing report with matrix that is set to RTL (LayoutDirection) which displays in ReportViewr control with property RightToLeft set to RightToLeft.Yes in DisplayMode = PrintLayout.
The report looks fine in the report viewr in DisplayMode = Normal, but when goes to PrintLayout, it seems that the left data on page is rendered first.
Example: This is the display of the report viewer, I would like to print the columns by the same order it displays here:
And this is the result when clicking Print Preview: the first page displays the data of the last columns and if i go to the last page (page 9) i will see the data of the first column as displays in the previous gif, I don't have a clue why?
Is there a property that can be set to force the print layout to render RTL. Anyway, it seem to me as a bug since the Report Viewer displays the data correctly and renders the data RTL as expected.

Jul 30, 2015I have 3 SSRS 2014 (Dev, UAT and Prod). I would like to change background colors of each environment and customize the title 'SQL Server Reporting Services' to ' SSRS Development'.
I prefer to implement both, a background color change and a title change. The reason for this is to clarify to end users which environment they are working with.
Where can I make those minimal changes in SSRS 2014.

Apr 22, 2015In an existing SSRS 2012 report, I have a requirement for a user to be able to select by multiple school(s) and/or multiple grade(s). This is fine except certain schools like elementary have grade levels of KG to 06, Middle school has grades of 06 to 09 and high school has grades of 10 to 12. Thus for example, if a user has initially selected grades 11 and 12 and then they select an elementary school that has grades KG through 06, the 'grade level' selection would need to change.In other words, I am thinking of initially having the available and default values for the parameter called 'Grade' set to KG through 12. However if a school is selected that only has specific grade levels like elementary school, how can I override the original grade level and only allow the user to select grades that the particular school contains?

Jul 5, 2012I have written a report visual studio. The report has 10 multi-value parameters that pull data from their individual data sets within the reports. When running the report from within Visual Studio it renders fine. There are no errors reported, only a warning related to a pathname I have use to retrieve image data and display on the report.Deployment of the report is error free.When I view the report I briefly get the "Loading" splash window, but then nothing. None of the headers or static text is displayed. The results window is blank.
The report defaults all the parameter values. In trying to debug the issue I have found by reducing the number of parameter values the report will render. Once I have all the values added, the report does nothing.Below is the query being used for the report. The where clause in the query shows the parameters being used and the syntax.We are running on Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2.

Sep 16, 2015I am trying to develop a report from cube,and it has one drill through report.when i click on sales amount field on main report,then it open the drill through report with details.Here i passed the **(category,subcat,product)parameters(Cascaded)** to drill through report in action part of main report.In my main report i have two columns .
columns are **Level** and **Salesamount**.
Values are like

**[-]subcat** **50**
**product** **30**
when i click on 100, parameters are passed & it open the detail report correctly, but when i click on 50,the values for subcat parameter is not getting values in detail report and same as the product also.
Here i used the expressions in parameter values

Oct 6, 2015How do I get data on my linked report based on my grouped subtotal and grand total from the main report. The subtotal and grand total are calculated columns.
I have a 3 columns in my matrix in the SSRS summary report. Actn_COAST, ActnCITY and NumbOfAccts.
The following is code for my summary report. The results are shown below.

I have linked my report based on the NumbOfAccts column. I am able to get data if I click any of the NumbOfAccts values related to the state I want. However when I am not sure how to make the subtotal and grand total work. I want when I click on the subtotal of either coast, I should be able to see records of that coast e.g., if I select 37 I should be able to see all the records in East Coast. If I click on the Grand Total, I only want data related to those 2 coasts.

I'm having problems navigating from one report to another one if the second report has a multi-valued report parameter. When I navigate to the second report, I don't pass any parameters, but I get an error "parameter is missing a value" for the multi-valued report parameter. I have it setup as allow "multi-value" and "blank value". Any idea what the issue might be?

I am using SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services and Reporting Services with Visual studio 2005 Professional Edition. I have developed couple of reports in visual studio 2005 environment using report server project of business intelligence projects.
In one of my report I am using MDX query which is created using Query Builder of Report wizard. Once I finished with report wizard a report created and shown with data, layout and preview tabs. I can preview the report. But, when I click on data tab there is no MDX query exists. After that I can't even preview the report.
Please let me know how can I solve this issue

Oct 21, 2015I have built an SSRS report and fetching my data from an ERP system, previously we have done the same way and the reports are working fine, but only one report which is also working fine but when the values displayed in Preview or Excel, we cannot see values in Excel, when we click on the cell we can see the values in formula bar, but not in the cell. When we select the cell and change the color it will then display the values. In this report many of the values are displayed correctly, but some are not displayed, so every time we need to change the color of entire report. This is causing issues to the end users.

There is one table which queries the database and I would like to change the table so there are more than 25 rows of data per page. How do I do this? Also it would be advantageous to know how to set the report to only create a new page for every different item in a column. E.g., if I have various data for each date, I would like to only create a new page when the date changes so that all data for a specific date is on one page etc etc.

The scale on the right side is the finished good which has a min qty of 383 while the highest is 52439. how can i set this scale that start from 0 to 300 and soon. right now under scale properties I set the max to 60000, the min is set to auto while in the interval properties i set this to 10000. How this line marker adjust the scale quantity (fisnished good).
