SQL 2005 Replication Error Authenticating Proxy
Feb 6, 2006
I have been attempting to create a snapshot of a database. Just install a SQL2005 cluster. The snapshot appears to create ok, but when I view snapshot agent status I get the following error which I have not been able to figure out:
Unable to start execution of step 2 (reason: Error authenticating proxy ohaevservices, system error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.). The step failed.

Hello,
I am trying to create a job that runs a SSIS package. I am getting the following error:
Message
Unable to start execution of step 1 (reason: Error authenticating proxy domainsckeels, system error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.). The step failed.
Our DBA ran the following to create the credentials and proxy account.
USE MSDB
CREATE CREDENTIAL [sckeels] WITH IDENTITY = 'domainsckeels', secret = 'sckeels_credentials'
GO
Sp_add_proxy @proxy_name='ssis_users', @credential_name='sckeels'
GO
Sp_grant_login_to_proxy @login_name='domainsckeels', @proxy_name='ssis_users'
GO
Sp_grant_proxy_to_subsystem @proxy_name='ssis_users', @subsystem_name='SSIS'
Any help with this would be appreciated.

I have read all the posts regarding this error, but non-solve my problem as I had already addressed them.
I am setting up Merge Replication via the Web and I get this error when i try to sync. Let me give you some background.
I wrote a small windows test app to test merge replication, in which i am using RMO to accomplish the replication. This works. It syncs every time. I then copied the "sync" code from the winform application and created a Windows Service in which i placed "sync" code. The sync code did not change other than adding the additional following four lines:
_mergeAgent.InternetUrl = _internetURL;
_mergeAgent.InternetLogin = _internetLogin;
_mergeAgent.InternetPassword = _internetPassword;
_mergeAgent.InternetTimeout = _internetTimout;
where the internet url is https://ipaddress/virtualdirectory/replisapi.dll
I have been working with this for a while now trying to figure out why this works (on the same machine) in a winforms app but not through the web (via a windows service).
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...

Dear all,
Since Windows Integrated Authentication does not work over proxy for Replication, could I still use SSL or SQL authentication over proxy? Thanks for any advice.

Hi
I am trying to setup merge replication using web sync. I keep on getting the message: The Proxy Auto-configuration URL was not found. Yes I have read all the postings telling me to check my internet explorer settings concerning proxy server and auto-detection - I am not using a proxy - auto detection is unchecked.
Does anyone have another clue?
Thanks

I'm getting this, after upgrading from 2000 to 2005.Replication-Replication Distribution Subsystem: agent (null) failed.The subscription to publication '(null)' has expired or does notexist.The only suggestions I've seen are to dump all subscriptions. Sincewe have several dozen publications to several servers, is there adecent way to script it all out, if that's the only suggestion?Thanks in advance.

(Posting this again since my original post has disappeared from the forum sometime during the day.)
I have about a dozen jobs that are being started at the same time (1:30am). Each time they start up, I end up with a random number of those jobs failing to run and logging the follow error:
Unable to start execution of step 1 (reason: Error authenticating proxy LSPJobUser, system error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.). The step failed.
Each night it is a different collection of failed jobs (some work and some do not). If I manually run the job they ALL work EVERY time.
As anybody experienced this before? Is it possible that SQL Agent cannot handle a dozen jobs at once? (Or at a minimum cannot authenticate a dozen jobs at once.) (I do not believe it but cannot think of any other possibility.)
(For a quick fix I am going to stagger the dozen jobs to start over a ten minute period instead of starting at the same time.)

We have a reverse proxy for rs 2000 -> a client requests a report, it (the proxy) then goes out to the rs box, gets the report, encrypts any return urls and feeds the modified html to the requesting client. I understand this isn't necessary anymore with rs 2005 due to the architecture. Question is, when I use the ReportExecutionService.Render method it is still returning the parameters for the report, and not the ReportSession, ControlID, Controller, etc. parameters which hides the actual return values on the href links of the report.
Documentation is plentiful for rs 2005, but examples are not. Can someone please explain to me if using the new features in rs 2005 to hide the parameter values from the users is possible via web request? Making the parameter values completely and entirely (even via sniffer) is absolutely a must (which is why we are currently encrypting return URL's).
My code:
ReportExecutionService rs = new ReportExecutionService();
rs.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;

DataSourceCredentials[] credCredentials = null;
ReportParameter[] rptparamRequiredParams = null;
ParameterValue[] pvReportParameters = null;

I'm trying to set a proxy account for the SQL agent. The user is Local
administrator on the SQL Server when I try to set the account I get a message back that says
"The system cannot find the path specified."
I get the same error with TSQL too.
EXEC master..xp_sqlagent_proxy_account
'SET', N'MY_DOMAIN', N'Myadm', N'MyPassword'
My system :
Windows Server 2003 SP1
SQL Server 2000 SP4
I am worried it might be interfering with someing.
Any ideas what paths it could be after?

I'm attempting to run a ssis package via sql server agent.
The package and the DB are on a cluster.
The package runs fine when 'Sql Server Agent' is the run-as.
When I try and use a proxy to run the package, it fails with this error:
Date 5/28/2008 6:21:54 PM
Log SQL Agent (Current - 5/28/2008 6:21:00 PM)
Message
[136] Job CorpFoo New reported: The process could not be created for step 1 of job 0xDAE2A53F27943D4CA412A0D177CAA546 (reason: A required privilege is not held by the client)
I've:
Create Credential to be used by proxy
Create Proxy
Give Permissions to Proxy in SQL Server
Give Permissions to Proxy at the Server for SQL Agent Batch Run
Give Permissions to Proxy at the Server to Connect to SSIS
EXEC dbo.sp_grant_login_to_proxy
@login_name = N'Myapplication_DBO',
@proxy_name = N'Myapplication_Batch_PROXY' ;
EXEC dbo.sp_grant_proxy_to_subsystem
@proxy_name = 'Myapplication_Batch_PROXY',
@subsystem_id = 11;
I've tried a number of things, including adding the sql user (who has access to the proxy) as sys admin on SQL and the OS. That didn't help either.
Has anyone experienced this error? Is there any way to further diagnose this (completely unhelpful) error message?
Thanks,
Steve.

Hi all,
I have a problem while i create a proxy account in SQL Sever 2005.The situation is like this...There is a user who has an login in to the server.He has a stored procedure which calls some on the SSIS packages and XP_cmdshell...so this stored procedure basically load some data in to the tables .So for the login in order to execute the stored procedure as he is not a Sys admin I have created a proxy account in my account as Iam an SA and then in the proxies and in principals I selected his login name and this way I have created a credential and a proxy account.
Now the problem is if he logins with his id and password and try to execute the stored procedure it gives an error message
Server: Msg 15153, Level 16, State 1, Procedure xp_cmdshell, Line 1
The xp_cmdshell proxy account information cannot be retrieved or is invalid. Verify that the '##xp_cmdshell_proxy_account##' credential exists and contains valid information.
....so this mean the login is not able to see the proxy account.So what I did is I created a job and then in the job owner tab I have selected his login and then created a step with the type operating system (CmdExec) as I need to just execute the stored procedure and used the proxy account that I have created.
so I gave the command -- exec <stored procedure> --.
But this job fails and gives the error message as
[298] SQLServer Error: 536, Invalid length parameter passed to the SUBSTRING function. [SQLSTATE 42000]....
So now ....first My question is am I doing in a right way....if its right then why Iam not able to execute the stored procedure.
If there is any other way through which I can execute the stored procedure using a proxy account for the logins who are not sys admins....please do let me know.....
Thanks

Hello Experts,
I have a Report Server when i try to deploy my report on the same server and if i use the Fully Qualified Domain Name in my report path i get the below Error
TargetServerURL : http://jptoclq901.corpusers.net/ReportServer
Error : The request failed with HTTP Status 407 : Proxy Authentication Required (Microsoft.ReportingServices.Designer)
but if i use the TargetServerURL as http://localhost/ReportServer, things do work fine. but company requirement is to use complete path.
Is this a limitation or some way out, any Idea???
Thanks in advance for the help

I am using snapshot replication to copy data from one database to another. I truncate the destination table first. The publisher and the subscriber are different databases on the same server. The data turns into 1 unrecognizable row.
Here is what the source table looks like:
displayTypeID, displayType
1, Title List Formats
2, Title Details
3, Title List Export
4, Pricing Notes
5, clone Mask 001
6, clone Mask 002
7, clone Mask 004
8, clone Mask 008
9, hide From Admin
10, not Common Attr
11, Insert Title
12, title Types
The resulting data looks like this:
DisplayType, displayTypeId
, 1660953600
I see no errors in replication and nothing in the source table looks like bad data that could cause such a malady. I see the problem on two different servers now and identified the source of the problem, the column order is reversed in the source and destination tables. The data types do not even match so I would at the very least expect an error from bcp.

I have tried to search on the topic, but there's a variety of answers that has left me a bit confused, so let me try asking a-new...
I have RS 2005 installed (Report Server on one server with IIS and everything else, Integrated Security set; the Report Catalog on a separate server with SQL Server 2005, etc.). So far so good.
I can easily access a few of my test reports using URL Access, and I can also access Report Mgr just fine; all that to indicate I'm pretty sure I have RS installed and setup and working correctly.
Now I have a custom ASP.NET 2.0 based web app that, of course, uses Forms based authentication, not Windows. I can create a hyperlink on one my web pages that uses URL Access to get to some of my test reports. But, of course, it's prompts me for (and seems to remember) domain credentials.
That's the piece I want to avoid. I have created a specific Windows domain account that would be used for this purpose. Now, I just need to figure out code to put in my ASP.NET page to pass that along. I am not using the ReportViewer control.
So, I am trying to find a decent reference/example code on how to set the credentials. I have seen much example code that is like:
//assumes a web reference has been setup...
ReportingService rs = new ReportingService();
// establish credentials
rs.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;
But I don't think I want "DefaultCredentials"... I want to use my custom domain account. Any help?
My other wild idea was creating this custom page in a directory where I could drop in a custom web.config that set the <authentication> element to "Windows" then set the <identity> element to my custom account... any thoughts on that would be appreciated.

we have SSRS and I've worked on my local PC and developed a report which connects to a database e.g. on server 3 with the credentials set as a particular SQL user. All works fine locally but as soon as I deploy the report to the report server (server 2), I receive the following error: Cannot create a connection to data source"
The database server records the following SQL error:"Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITYANONYMOUS LOGON'. Reason: Could not find a login matching the name provided."what I need to do to successfully run this from server 2? The fact it works locally fine means that the login is working ok I guess so I'm not sure what happens when it is transferred to the database server.The user is a SQL user rather than domain one and the user exists on SQL databases on both servers.

Hello everyone,
We have a custom application that connects remotely to a SQL Server 2000 (SP2) database. We would like our application to validate a user's login against Active Directory.
So far I have been able to get a lookup working, but I can not find documentation on how to validate the password from within SQL Server. I found a lot of notes on using ASP.NET objects, or VB, C#, etc, but for this solution it must be done entirely in SQL. It would also be nice if this were SQL Server 2005; we could just embed the C# code and call it as a SQL stored proc, but unfortunately we are left with the constraint that we cannot upgrade this DB at this time.
Linked server 'ADSI' is set up with the sp_addlinkedserver command:
EXEC master.dbo.sp_addlinkedserver @server = N'ADSI', @srvproduct=N'Active
Directory Services 2.5', @provider=N'ADsDSOObject', @datasrc=N'adsdatasource'
Two table functions in our test DB (trying to test both ways I've found in docs):
ALTER FUNCTION [dbo].[GetAuthenticatedUserViaLDAP]
(
-- Add the parameters for the function here
@userId nvarchar(50),
@password nvarchar(50)
)
RETURNS TABLE
AS
RETURN
(
-- Add the SELECT statement with parameter references here
SELECT [SAMAccountName], CN [Name], SN [Last Name], ST State
FROM OPENQUERY( ADSI,
'<LDAP://DC=company,DC=com>;((objectClass=user));SAMAccountName,cn,sn,st')
WHERE [SAMAccountName] = @userId
)
ALTER FUNCTION [dbo].[GetAuthenticatedUser]
(
-- Add the parameters for the function here
@userId nvarchar(50),
@password nvarchar(50)
)
RETURNS TABLE
AS
RETURN
(
-- Add the SELECT statement with parameter references here
SELECT [SAMAccountName], [Name], SN [Last Name], ST State
FROM OPENQUERY( ADSI,
'SELECT SAMAccountName, Name, SN, ST
FROM ''LDAP://bdsserver1/ CN=users,DC=company,DC=com''
WHERE objectCategory = ''Person''
AND objectClass = ''user'' ')
WHERE [SAMAccountName] = @userId
)
So calling either of these table functions from our custom application gives the same result:
select * from dbo.GetAuthenticatedUser('astonaker','abc')
OR
select * from dbo.GetAuthenticatedUserViaLDAP('astonaker','abc')
ResultSet:
'astonaker', 'Anthony', 'Stonaker' 'NULL'
So I can at least tell if a given user exists or not, but I have no visibility into whether the password they entered into our application is valid in LDAP.
I don't want to pass unencrypted passwords through the network, but then I don't know how to encrypt/compare these passwords without using the .NET Connection or DirectoryEntry, etc objects.
Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
I have setup merge replication which successfully synchronizes with a group of desktop users using SQL Compact Edition.
However now I have setup Article Filters and when I attempt to regenerate the snapshot I get the following error:
Invalid column name 'rowguid'.
Failed to generate merge replication stored procedures for article 'AssignedCriteria'.
When I look at publication properties at the Articles page.. All my tables have the rowguid uniqueidentifier successfully added to tables and selected as a compulsory published column, apart from the table above "AssignedCriteria".. Even when I attempt to select this column in the article properties page and press ok, when I come back it is deselected again. ( The Rowguid column is however physically added to the table)
I have scripted the publication SQL and then totally reinstalled from scratch, including the database but for some reason it doesn't like this table. I remove the article filters, but still this "rowguid" is never "selected" in article properties.
We are using Uniqueidentifiers in other columns as well for historical reasons, but this doesn't appear to be a problem in other tables..
DDL For this problematic table is as follows
CREATE TABLE [dbo].[AssignedCriteria](
[AssignedCriteria] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL,
[CriteriaName] [varchar](255) COLLATE SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS NULL,
[TargetScore] [numeric](5, 0) NULL,

[IsActive] [bit] NULL,

)WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY]

Thanks.

I am migrating a pocket PC application from VS 2003 to VS 2005 and a few weeks ago I hit the following problem when replicating
A SQL Mobile DLL could not be loaded. Reinstall SQL Mobile. [ DLL Name=sqlceca30.dll]
Scanning forums for help I saw that other people had had this problem and one
http://www.eggheadcafe.com/aspnet_answers/NETFrameworkCompactFramework/Feb2006/post25814466.asp
suggested that this problem could be circumvented by getting the replication object early and then continuously using the same object for subsequent replications.
I did this and it works a lot better now but ever so often I get another error which is
Native Error 28559 SQL Mobile encountered problems when opening the database
My only option at this point is to stop and start the application which cures the problem.

Hello,I'm getting the following error message when I try add a row using aStored Procedure."The identity range managed by replication is full and must be updatedby a replication agent".I read up on the subject and have tried the following solutionsaccording to MSDN without any luck.(http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/304706 )sp_adjustpublisheridentityrange (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa239401(SQL.80).aspx ) has no effectFor Testing:I've reloaded everything from scratch, created the pulications from byrunning the sql scripts generated,created replication snapshots andstarted the agents.I've checked the current Identity values in the Agent Table:DBCC CHECKIDENT ('Agent', NORESEED)Checking identity information: current identity value '18606', currentcolumn value '18606'.I check the Table to make sure there will be no conflicts with theprimary key:SELECT AgentID FROM Agent ORDER BY AgentID DESC18603 is the largest AgentID in the table.Using the Table Article Properties in the Publications PropertiesDialog, I can see values of:Range Size at Publisher: 100,000Range Size at Subscribers: 100New range @ percentage: 80In my mind this means that the Publisher will assign a new range whenthe Current Indentity value goes over 80,000?The Identity range for this table cannot be exhausted! I'm not surewhat to try next.Please! any insight will be of great help!Regards,Bm

I have a user who cannot login to a .mdb when he is logged
in to Windows, on his workstation or any other.
No one can login to the .mdb when he is logged in to Windows.
He CAN login to the same .mdb if someone else is logged in
to Windows, either on his workstation or any other.
When the user logs in he gets the following error:
MS SQL Server Login
Connection Failed:
SQL
State: €˜28000€™
SQL Server Error 18456
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Login failed
for user €˜domainusername€™
I have removed and recreated the ODBC Connection
while he is logged in. I have tried changing the trusted login to
administrator (in the window that pops up when he fails to connect).
He has the permissions he needs to the .mdb because he can
login under anyone else€™s profile.
I tried copying his profile to a brand new user and ended up
with the same result.
This leads me to wonder if there is some corruption in one
of his profile€™s .dat files or ???
This is the boss€™ account and he does not want to be given a
new username and profile€¦
Microsoft SQL Server
2000 - 8.00.760 (Intel X86)
Running on MS Windows 2003 Server Standard SP1
All workstations are XP SP2 with MS Access 2003 SP2 (from
Office Pro distro)
We use roaming profiles.
All systems within the same physical and logical network and domain.
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Please let me know if there is any additional information you need.
Thanks,
Mike

Setup: Reporting Services and Analysis Services are on the same server. Active Directory User. Default configuration of Reporting Services.
Problem: Reporting Server does not apply Analysis Services Role after login.
Details:
I have created a report that retreives data from the Analysis Service. I created a role and added my user company/myUserName to the role.
On the Reporting Server I set the data source to :
* Credentials supplied by the user running the report
and
Use as Windows credentials when connecting to the data source
Internally when I connect devsql2005/Reports/ReportName I get the user and password fields. When I fill them in I get the report but I can see all the data while my role was restricted to see only few results.
Can anyone suggest what may be wrong? Any articles or tutorials on how to setup and deploy solutions where Report Server is talking to Analysis Services and NOT Sql Server.
Thank You,
Pavel Hlobil

We have a large number of clients attempting to replicate two publications on 2005 Express databases (2 publications subscribed to the one subscriber database) with our 2005 Server (9.00.3042.00 SP2 Standard Edition) and experiencing two significant problems:
1) Users experience the following message:
The Merge Agent failed after detecting that retention-based metadata cleanup has deleted metadata at the Subscriber for changes not yet sent to the Publisher. You must reinitialize the subscription (without upload).
This problem should not apparently occur with SQL Server 2005 (or 2005 Express) instances with SP2 applied. All clients experiencing this problem have SP2 installed as does our Server and the retention period is 30 days. The subscribers have been replicating well under that.
2) Replications never succeed after appearing to replicate/loop around for hours
This issue is the most critical as we have clients who have been installed and re-installed with new instances of SQL Server 2005 Express, new empty databases (on subscriber before snapshot extraction), and using fresh snapshots (less than an few hours old) which cannot successfully replicate.
Interestingly there is at least 1 instance where several computers are subscribed and successfully replicating the same database as another where replication refuses to succeed.
To test we have taken a republished database from another 2005 Server which is working fine and restored it to the same server as the one holding the database with which we are experiencing problems and subscribed to it. This test worked fine and replication of both publications went through fast and repeatedly without showing any signs of problem.
This indicates that the problem is perhaps data related as it appears localised to that database.
Below are two screenshots which may assist.
Screenshot 1 Shows that on the server side the replication attempts look like they are succeeding despite the fact that the subscriber end does not indicate success. Also the history indicates the the subscription has spent all it's time initialising and not merging any changes.
Screenshot 2 Shows a rogue process which has appears on many of the problem child subscribers. It shows a process running with no end time even though the job indicates failure in the message and even though other replication attempts appear to have succeeded after it. This process stays in the history showing that it is running even when I can find no corresponding process for it.
Can anyone suggest a further course of action/further testing/further information required which may assist?
This is extremely urgent and any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Scott

Hi,
Is there any way to measure bandwith usage during merge replication between sql server 2005 and sql server mobile 2005 running on a cradled wm5 mobile device.
Attaching the windows performance monitor to the network connection established over usb would work although I was wondering if there was something specific for this case integrated into Sql server 2005 / sql server mobile 2005 / Sql server management studio / third party tools that i could use ?
thnx,
pdns.

Hello everybody!
I hope that someone could help me.
I have a problem when i start sincronyzing with the emulator of MSVS2005 to SQL2005 in Windows Vista. I have the same program in the emulator, but sincronyzing with windows XP Pro and no problem...
I configure the connection to use the IUSR.
The source code that i use:
repl.InternetUrl = @"http://laptop/SQLMobileIIS/sqlcesa30.dll";
repl.Publisher = @"laptop";
repl.PublisherDatabase = @"database";
repl.PublisherSecurityMode = SecurityType.NTAuthentication;
repl.Publication = @"Pubdatabase";
repl.Subscriber = @"SQLMobile";
repl.SubscriberConnectionString = @"Data Source='" + nomeFicheiroBD + "';Password='3409'";
The error that returns is:
"Failure to connect to SQLServer with provided connection information. SQL Server does not exist, access is denied because the IIS user is not a valid user on the SQL Server, or the password is incorrect"
Does anybody knows what i can do?
HELP I NEED SOMEBODY TO HELP!
Thanks!

I have written following code in my application
I just want to display all the data of a Single table into a Data Grid, I know that we can drag and drop the table on to a form and datagrid is generated, but here I want to retrive those values through my code, how should i do that
I am getting following errors while running the program
Error 1) Error No. 28037, MS SQL Server 2005 Evrywhere Edition
Error: A request to send data to the computer running IIS has failed. For more information see HRESULT
Error 2) Error No. 0, SQL Server 2005 Evrywhere Edition ADO.Net Data Provider
Error: The specified table does not exist [ JobLists ].
Can anybody please tell me, where I went wrong ??? In this code anywhere else????
Note: While adding a Data Source of SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition, I have added that .sdf file into my project, thats why I have written the Data Source as : .DbFile.sdf
@"Data Source = .DbDotNetCF.sdf";
The code is as follows:
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.ComponentModel;
using System.Data;
using System.Drawing;
using System.Text;
using System.Windows.Forms;
using System.Data.SqlServerCe;
namespace DeviceApplication1
{
public partial class Form1 : Form
{
string filename = @".DbDotNetCF.sdf";
private DataSet dsJobLists;
public Form1()
{
InitializeComponent();
}
private void DeleteDB()
{
if (System.IO.File.Exists(filename))
{
System.IO.File.Delete(filename);
}
}
private void Sync()
{
SqlCeReplication repl = new SqlCeReplication();
repl.InternetUrl = @"http://localhost/WebsiteDotNetCF/sqlcesa30.dll";
repl.Publisher = @"RAHU";
repl.PublisherDatabase = @"DotNetCF";
repl.PublisherSecurityMode = SecurityType.NTAuthentication;
repl.Publication = @"PubDotNetCF";
repl.Subscriber = @"SubDotNetCF";
repl.SubscriberConnectionString = @"Data Source='" + filename + "';Max Database Size=128;Default Lock Escalation =100;";
try
{
if (!System.IO.File.Exists(filename))
{
repl.AddSubscription(AddOption.CreateDatabase);
}
repl.Synchronize();
}
catch (SqlCeException ex)
{
DisplaySQLCEErrors(ex);
}
finally
{
repl.Dispose();
}
// Display Same Data In Another DataGrid : dataGrid1
SqlCeConnection cn = new SqlCeConnection(@"Data Source='" + filename + "'");
SqlCeDataAdapter daJobLists = new SqlCeDataAdapter("SELECT JobListsID, JobID, PersonID FROM JobLists", cn);
if (dsJobLists == null)
{
dsJobLists = new DataSet();
}
try
{
dsJobLists.Clear();
daJobLists.Fill(dsJobLists, "JobLists");
dataGrid1.DataSource = dsJobLists.Tables["JobLists"];
}
catch (SqlCeException ex)
{
DisplaySQLCEErrors(ex);
}
}
private void DisplaySQLCEErrors(SqlCeException ex)
{
for (int i = 0; i < ex.Errors.Count; i++)
{
MessageBox.Show("Index #" + i.ToString() + ""
+ ex.Errors.Source + ""
+ "Error: " + ex.Errors.Message,
"Error No. " + ex.Errors.NativeError.ToString());
}
}
private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Sync();
DeleteDB();
if (DbDotNetCFDataSetUtil.DesignerUtil.IsRunTime())
{
// TODO: Delete this line of code to remove the default AutoFill for 'dbDotNetCFDataSet.JobLists'.
this.jobListsTableAdapter.Fill(this.dbDotNetCFDataSet.JobLists);
}
}
}
}
I have created a merge replication correctlly( I suppose, there were no errros)
Please help
Your help will be appriciated
