SQL Query Automatically Count Month Events B4 Today; Count Events Today + Balance Of Month

I would like to AUTOMATICALLY count the event for the month BEFORE today
and
count the events remaining in the month (including those for today).
I can count the events remaining in the month manually with this query (today being March 20):
SELECT Count(EventID) AS [Left for Month],
FROM RECalendar
WHERE
(EventTimeBegin >= DATEADD(DAY, 1, (CONVERT(char(10), GETDATE(), 101)))
AND EventTimeBegin < DATEADD(DAY, 12, (CONVERT(char(10), GETDATE(), 101))))
Could anyone provide me with the correct syntax to count the events for the current month before today
and
to count the events remaining in the month, including today.

I have events which require certain things be done several days before the event and things be done several days after the event. I attempted to use the DATEADD function to subtract 3 days from the event date. The SQL Statement I created did just that, but, it displays 3 days back from today's date.
There are 2 tables:
CalendarCategories -- Table
CalCategoryID -- int field
CalCategoryName -- varchar field
CalendarEvents -- Table
CalCategoryID -- int Field
Title -- varchar Field
StartDate -- DateTime Field
I have to perform some tasks 3 days before the event. So, TODAY, I want to see a listing of those events which are scheduled for 3 days FROM NOW.
This is my current SQL Statement:
SELECT DATEADD(d,-3,StartDate) AS [Update Payoffs & Ins], Title AS [Closing Description] FROM CalendarEvents WHERE datepart(dd,StartDate)=datepart(dd,getdate()) AND datepart(mm,StartDate)=datepart(mm,getdate())
This SQL Statement takes TODAY'S events and gives them a date of February 20. See example of the results at http://www.joelwilliamslaw.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=141
This is what I have already done relative to my calendar listings:

Here is my query
SELECT id, (CONVERT(datetime, event_date)) AS event_date, xmlfilename, event_active FROM test WHERE (YEAR(event_date) >= YEAR(GETDATE())) AND (MONTH(event_date) >= MONTH(GETDATE())) AND (DAY(event_date) >= DAY(GETDATE())) ORDER BY event_date ASC
The above query shows me event only upcoming event from the current month.
I want to list all the events happening today and future. I do not want to show past event. How to do this?

I need to get everything from today to the end of the month. So for example, if it was august 3rd, I would need everything from August 3rd to August 31st. I can't hard code the date in, so is there any way to do this dynamically? This is what I have by hardcoding it in:
select unit.dtavailable, unit.hmy from unit inner join property on property.hmy = unit.hproperty
inner join unit_status on unit_status.hunit = unit.hmy

I know how to get the events that start say on May, and I know how to get the events that end on May, however, How would I get the events that start on January and end in July. The month of May should display that event too.
so far, as an example, I have: SELECT

Events.endDate
FROM Events

This seems to get the job done...
SELECTRIGHT('00000000'+CONVERT(VARCHAR,REPLACE(CONVERT(VARCHAR,GETDATE(),101),'/','')),8)
However, when I try to create it and CONVERT it to a DECIMAL, it then loses the "0"
SELECTCONVERT(DECIMAL(8,0),RIGHT('00000000'+CONVERT(VARCHAR,REPLACE(CONVERT(VARCHAR,GETDATE(),101),'/','')),8))
Is it impossible to convert it to a decimal and retain the leading "0" on the month?
My vendor's spec states..."Business Date Numeric For 8 positions MMDDYYYY"

Ive got a table of notes people have created, with a field called "timecreated" which has a default value of "GETDATE()" Im trying to write an SQL statement that will count up all of the notes that people have created today/ yesturday etc. i could do it if the timecreated value was a "short date string" styled date, but its set up like : 11/11/2007 18:51:46 is there way of converting it before counting? if theres a simple way of doing this i would appricate any help thanks John

I have a table :-
“eventDates� with
columns (id, date, eventID,
eventCount)
The id auto increments as a Primary Key.
date holds the date of the
event.
EventID references another
table with info about the events
Up to 9 eventIDs can be added
for each date and I want eventCount to hold an integer (1 to 9) to allow me to “pivot�
the data to the table below
“results� with columns (date,
eventCount1, eventCount2 …..eventCount9) so each row will hold a date and non
to nine eventIDs occurring on that date.
Is there an easy way to keep eventCount accurate or do I
just have to write a lot of code? I
will need to be able to remove events as well as add them. I will use a mixture of stored procedures
and VB.Net I guess?

I am writing a query to display the count of products when a month is the primary month (Month where large sales happened)..Please consider the following query..

I am trying to get the number of rows for each month.
table name:sitez
ID Name crDate access

I am using the results to make a bar graph so I am querying the database for a given year and expecting 12 results back (running SQL 2012).
Select count(*) as ttl FROM sitez WHERE year(crdate) = 2014 and access = 1 group by all month(crdate)
This should return:
1
0
0
0
1
0
0
0
0
0
0
1
However when testing the script I was only getting back:
1
1
1
which didn't knowing which months were 0
By changing the GROUP BY to GROUP BY ALL, it now puts in the zeroes. However I'm still having issues with incorrect results.
When I query the database, the results for December 2014 shows '13' when I execute:
Select count(*) as ttl FROM sitez WHERE year(crdate) = 2014 and access =3 group by all month(crdate)
There are ZERO rows made with a year of 2014 and an access of 3.I verified this by going a straightforward select * from sitez where crdate = 2014 and access = 3
Why I'm seeing ghost results?
All I need is 12 results, ordered by crdate month.

What are the events logged in SQL Server Error Logs aside from Successful/Failed Login, Backup/Restore/Recover database and, start/init sql server? I have a query that counts the number of pay checks received in a month, but I need to compare that to the number of actual paydays in a month. If we were on a set pay schedule (i.e. the 15th of each month) it would be easy. Unfortunately that's not the case. We are paid biweekly on Fridays and our last pay day was April 4th.
So I need to know how many pay periods were in a specified month. For example, April would have 2 (April 4th and 18th), May would have 3 (May 2nd, 16th, and 30th), etc.
As always, your help is very much appreciated!

First, I need to find the month which has the most records, I finally produced the correct results using this query but I am not convinced it's the most efficient way, can anyone offer a comment or advice here?

I want to find out count of same UserID used within 7 days for that month.
For example, in below scenario, UserID 458's 1st TTo is 8/26/2015 and it used again on 8/28/2015 which is less than 7 so result should be 1. (DateDiff between 1st TTo and 2nd Tfrom should be less than 7) This is for month of Aug.

I need developing a query to get the average count by the following:
Day - use daily info for the last ??? days
Weekly - average
- Add all days and divide by 7
- As of Saturday midnight
Monthly - average
- Add all days and divide by days in the month
- As of last save on last day of month
Quarter - average
- Add all days and divide by number of days in the quarter
- As of last day of quarter
Year - average
I don't have requirements for year as of yet.
How can I get the avery count per these timeframes?

how to return the 3 month rolling average count per username? This means, that if jan = 4, feb = 5, mar = 5, then 3 month rolling average will be 7 in April. And if apr = 6, the May rolling average will be 8.
Columns are four:
username, current_tenure, move_in_date, and count.
DDL (create script generated by SSMS from sample table I created, which is why the move_in_date is in hex form. When run it's converted to date. Total size of table 22 rows, 4 columns.)

Hello what I'd like to display the following in a matrix report:
Parameter selected: 3 (March), 2008 (Year)
Monthly TO Summed up

... ... ...
So, in the rows I have the articles and in the column the selected month via parameter. In another column I need to sum up all monthly values up to the selected month, meaning in this example the sum of jan, feb and mar per article.

I converted an MS Access db to SQL Server 2005 Express yesterday. I used FullConvert Enterprise for the conversion and it worked great. I ran several queries and saved them, and they ran fine. Today, running the same queries, I get this error message:
Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Invalid object name 'tblTXMup'
I googled the message and found someone who had a similar problem and their answer was they were not the dbo. I checked the new database and it was owned by sa so I logged in as sa and got the same error.
Can anyone set me straight so I can get into this db?

I converted an Access db to SQL Server 2005 Express using FullConvert Enterprise and the conversion went well. I ran a few queries. When I logged in today and run the same exact query (saved it) I get this error:
Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Invalid object name 'tblTXMup'.
I googled the error and someone in another forum said to check ownership, that it would throw that error if another user who was not dbo tried to run a query. I checked and the owner is sa. I logged in as sa and get the same error.
Anyone have an idea what happened?

I have a query where:
WHERE a.jobdate >=GETDATE()-1
This brings though data from today and yesterday; I understand this is because GETDATE = now.
However, all I want is to see is data from today only.
Is there any way the above query can be amended - probably not using GETDATE - so I can achieve this?
