I have a set of SSRS reports published on the server. It can be accessed through a web application or through SharePoint. Most of the reports work fine through both - web app and SharePoint. However, one of the report, which returns large amount of data has some problem:
1. It generates fine from web app 2. It generates fine from SharePoint; only if one or two values selected from Filter dropdown 3. However, if all items (about 20 items) selected from Filter dropdown... and click on View Report, it processes for a while and then shows nothing. The page remains blank.
Did some research and felt the problem is with Distributed Cache Service.
1) Date in db should be like this 01/15/14 or 06/15/14 2) Based on that dates I have to generate middle payment 02/01/14 - 11/01/14 or 07/01/14 - 11/01/14 3)Last payment 31/01/14
final results should be
1) 01/15/14 or 06/15/14 2)02/01/14 - 11/01/14 or 07/01/14 - 11/01/14 3)12/01/14
These results should come from one table and one column ...
Hi All, In my SSRS report. I have a report which has only one page. In preview it is showing as only 1 page but when I am printing the report. I am getting two printouts with the second page as a blank.. Please help me in printing the page that contains report. Intially I used a Page header, at that it used to print the blank page with a header only. Now as I removed the header it is printing the page without header i.e Blank Page.. So please help me in prinitng a single page that has the report. It is urgent,..
I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on this for me... I'm using SSRS SP2 and I have a basic report using a single list object which, at the moment, should print only two pages based on the results of the underlying query. When previewing the report, it shows the two pages. But when the report is printed or exported, there is a blank page before each report page.
What I've done so far: 1) Verified the properties of the list object and made sure that 'Insert a page break before this list' is not checked
2) Ensured that there are no hidden objects that could be causing this behavior 3) Ensured that the report size + margins are within the boudaries of an standard 8.5x11 paper size
Any suggestions on something that would solve this issue?
How to display the logo in middle of report header , The logo is embedded in the Image folder . The column of the report are static. we are using SSRS 2008
I can not access the url of reporting services.Reports_REPORTER, gives me a blank page.I tried to change service accountand plugged network services, but the same is not working.
I am using the rectangle for the physical page break and set the page break option as "Add a page break after" for each rectangle except for the last key summary page in the RDL
Other Report details Report Paper Size is A4, Landscape, Width = 29.7cm, Height = 21cm Report Margins - Left=0.2cm, Right=0.2cm, Top=0.25cm, Bottom=0.25cm
Rectangle size in the report body in each page as Width=28.7cm, Height=17.5cm, Header Height= 2cm Footer Height = 1cm
Now, the issue is when I add the Tablix with the rectangle to display the details data, it also adds the blank page after the page and when I remove the Tablix and only keep the graphs within the rectangle then blank page issue get fixed.
Hi all. My name is Guilherme and I'm a Braziliam software developer.
I've installed on my computer all the software required to work with MS SQL RS. I log on this computer using my domain user. and a few days ago i needed to change my password (network policy)
Now, when I open the adress http://localhost/reports on my computer, I can't see the installed reports, neither the configuration page.
I want each item of the list in a new page. So I checked the "Insert page break after this table" of the table properties to make sure that the next table is rendered on the next page.
But printing or exporting the report, a blank page with just the header and the footer is printing.
Is there a way to remove this last extra blank page?
We are using SSRS 2005.We designed one report. This report contains Table and chart controls .When Table is hidden, chart only is visible, this chart is going to show only on last page. There is a white space in top of the chart while hiding the table control.
Consider for an Example Report one tables and one chart . We want to show only chart,So we made Table's visible property is false.Total Number of pages is five and table has only four pages and chart has only one page that is in last page. Now the report showing Four pages are empty with header and footer and last page have a chart with header and footer.
Any suggestions how to avoid the empty pages?
I tried to Filter property to filter the table.Same empty page with header and footer is only visible
I'm getting a blank Report Manager Page or a recurring username popup for users from another domain added to Reporting Services. Adding the users to the Local Administrators group on the Reporting Services server solves the problem but for security reasons this obviously is not ideal.
I've tried adding a Global Group from the other domain to a local group on the RS server and adding the local group to RS as a role. I've tried adding the Global Group from the other domain as a role. I've tried adding individual users from the other domain to RS I've tried adding the Domain Users group from the other domain to the Local Users Group on the RS Server.
What am I missing? It should be as simple as "click, click, add group and like magic, it works"
I was asked to add a subreport in my report footer so that it appears on every page of the report. I spent some time trying to figure it out or find an answer on the web, but it appears it can not be done.
Since migrating Reporting Services from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008, the Last Run date, visible on the Details view of reports in a folder under Report Manager, has been blank. I would hope that this is supposed to be populated and equivalent to the "When Run" date visible in the 2005 version of Report Manager. Any setting that needs to be configured in order for this to show, or if this has been reported as a bug?
I wrote a report today containing one grouping. Everything appears all right in the report preview, except that every other page is "blank", i.e., shows only the page header and page footer; all grouping and detail information is missing.
The data on the page following the blank page seems to pick up where the previous non-blank page left off, so all information seems to be present within the report. The report width and height properties are typical portrait-style -- 8.5 x 11 inches. The columns do not "run off the edge" of the report page boundary. I haven't selected any page break for the grouping, as the grouping detail is typically only a few rows long, and would otherwise result in a very large number of pages.
I am using SQL Server report 2008/2012 (SSRS) and my report viewer contains body content with 3 Row groups. While printing the report, data print with blank space and move to continue data to next page.
Departure flight : 70 rows First Page : 42 rows printed Second Page : 23 rows printed [ Supposed to be print 28 , if the total count of records more than 23 and less than 42 then the page print only 23 records ] Third Page : 5 rows printed
Departure flight : 42 rows First Page : 42 rows printed [Report max. record allowed to print 42 rows so if total record is 42 then print perfectly ]
Departure flight : 26 rows First Page : 23 rows printed [Supposed to be print 26, if the total count of records more than 23 and less than 42 then the page print only 23 records ] Second Page : 3 rows printed
We have recently upgraded to SP1 of SSRS 2008. As a result, when we export a blank report to CSV, we now get a line of commas below the headings. Or found a way to not include the commas?
I want to repeat line on each page of report on PDF while using 2 columns on report. The problem is that if i use table border it will also repeat after second table. i want a line between two tables.
How to add a link to the child report in the page header section of a report in SSRS 2005 ?Basically I want a link to the child report which should appear on all the pages of the report if the report has multiple pages.
In SRSS 2005 (SP2) my page header seems to take up the same amount of space on the 1st page it would take if it were to print; I have PRINT ON FIRST PAGE set to false - the header doesn't print - it just leaves the same amount of space. How do you get the report to ignore that. I do have a report header built into the body of my report. I have tested this by increasing the size of my page header and it does move the report up or down on the 1st page by that amount.
hi i am very concerned about this problem in my report.
to solve this problem i increased the height of page footer, blank page vanishes but the page footer is not printing on every page,it is only printing on 1 st page .
i am having probelm because the records from the dataset are more than the page limit , page break is there but no footer is printing on the second page only blank space is there.
I have the SQL code for one of the select list columns as shown below in the SSRS Data set query level.
Example : Select IsNUll(max(ET.[# Utilizations by Utilization Method]),0) as [Employee Period Total]
SQL Result Set Output :
0 0 0
The above code when run in SQL displays correctly with zeroes if NULL values are available from the Source tables. Now at the SSRS Report level design I have grouped with more than one values.Even at the expression I have given =Fields!Employee_YTD_Total.Value but report output displays blank In order to evaluate 0 from the SQL result set I even tried equating the values to 0 like = Iif(Fields!Employee_YTD_Total.Value = 0 ,0,Fields!Employee_YTD_Total.Value) but still the report outputs is blank.
Issue/Query : Why it displays blank and I should have this as 0 in the report output to eliminate blank as this would be not appropriate to the end users to validate. What has to be changed either at the SSRS level or at the SQL level.
I had a problem accessing our report manager via the web front... We deleted the virtual directories in IIS and then recreated them... this required us to make a change in the rsWebApplication.config file to include the URL in the ReportServerUrl tag before we could access the site again. Now we have access to the site but when we attempt to view a report that we deployed to it - the report fails to render and returns a rsReportNotReady error, even though the report doesnt use a snapshot.
Furthermore, the strange thing is that the filters for the report don't display in their own collapsable bar as they used to before... they just display on the white part of the page. Neither does the reportviewer toolbar display properly. It appears as labels and textboxes going down the page and not in a toolbar as you might expect...
any help is appreciated... we suspect that it is some kind of configuration issue, but we have no clue where to begin...
I have a Report In that report I need to break out company code and export this report on excel and each company code shown its own tab in excel .I just add image about report details.I tried this issue but i cant get the exact names on excel sheet.
I am trying to embed a Reporting Services Report in a aspx page. I have the report embedded in the page but I am having difficulty passing a parameter to the report and getting the report to run within the page. Any information is appreciated.
I have a report which shows around 8 columns. The report is in landscape mode(Width -11in and Height-8.5 in). I want to display only header in the first page means basically I want to add a cover page.
I have used tablix to display data. To display an empty page, I have added a rectangle before tablix and made add a page break after true. But while exporting to pdf, I am getting 2 blank pages with header. But I need only one.
I have created .RDLC file/report in MVC, but in Report Viewer when i try to display next page, i am unable to see the next page. it is just displaying the first page data and charts only.
