Everything seems to work well on my desktop during development, but when I deployed the packages to our DEV environment the packages still execute, but I'm now receiving warning messages in the sysdtslog90 log table...
Precompiled script failed to load. Attempting to recompile. For more information, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article, KB931846 (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=81885).
My log table (SSISLog) looks OK, with only OnPostExecute messages that include the package / task information and rowcounts.
The KB article suggests upgrading to SP2, but I'm well past SP2, using Build 3159 on both machines.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of the warnings?
After moving all my packages to a new server, win2K3, SQL2k5, non of the SSIS packages run. They all ran fine on the other server.
The error is
"2006-03-07 13:09:38 - ! [LOG] Step 1 of job 'ExportXML' (0x4E0C7495EFE4034FA6EF94B7C7F77262) cannot be run because the SSIS subsystem failed to load. The job has been suspended"
These packages ran perfectly on the old system.
Running the package manually, using DTExec or from the Saved Packages tree in SQL is fine.
I have a big problem and i'm not able to find any hint on the Network.
I have a window2000 pc, VS2005,II5 and SQLServer 2005(dev edition)
I created an SSIS Package (query to DB and the result is loaded into an Excel file) that works fine.
I imported the dtsx file inside my "Stored Packages".
I would like to load and run the package programmatically on a Remote Scenario using the web services.
I created a solution with web service and web page that invoke the web service.
When my code execute: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.LoadFromDtsServer(packagePath, ".", Nothing)
I got the Error: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DtsRuntimeException: The package failed to load due to error 0xC0011008 "Error loading from XML. No further detailed error information can be specified for this problem because no Events object was passed where detailed error information can be stored.". This occurs when CPackage::LoadFromXML fails.
The error message doesn't help so much and there is nothing on the www to give me and advice....
Environment: SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition x64, 3 server cluster. Two active servers with seperate instances and one passive server. SQL Server was installed on the two active servers.
Problem: When I fail over either of my instances to the passive server in the cluster my maintenance jobs fail to run and there are error messages in the application event viewer "SSIS Subsystem failed to load". I am guessing that all of the needed components are not installed on the passive server? Is this a close guess? If so, exactly what components are missing and do you have to have another license to install them?
Please... any ideas? Is this a footprint config issue?

we have automated build on every night. In our solution is SSIS project, where each package is encrypted per password. We call build process per command line like this..
C:ProgrammeMicrosoft Visual Studio 8Common7IDEdevenv.exe (c:DevelopmentX3\X3.sln /build Release)' in 'c:DevelopmentProjectsDailyBuild
Through build process we get a error:
External Program Failed: C:ProgrammeMicrosoft Visual Studio 8Common7IDEdevenv.exe (return code was 1):
We think a reason is, that on build of SSIS project must be entered a password. You can wonder for what we need that SSIS packages are part of our build. We hope that on build process is also created Deployment Utility, if so set in dtproject.user. Is it so? Is there any way to create Deployment utility on automated build process? Can be a password provided pre command line?
I have an application which works with SQL Server. When the application attempts to load a page it needs to run certain queries. When it attempts to run a particular query it fails but I catch the exception and then log it. The following is logged:
System.Data.Ole.Db.OleDbException: Login failed for user 'CWAMB01DWH01ASPENT'.
Now what I don't understand is that this is the work group that ASPNET is run under, and I am running other queries to the database via SQL Server authentication. Why am I getting a failed login for this workgroup? Do I need to create a new Login for the Server in SQL Server, and then create a new user for the database with the same username as the Workgroup name? If so, then how does the password work for the SQL Server as the workgroup (CWAMB01DWH01ASPENT) obviously doesn't have a password.
Thanks, and I hope I have explain my problem clear enough.
p.s. Does anyone have any needles I can borrow? I think sticking them in my eyes would be nicer than working with SSIS.

I have developed a SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS) package that includes a Script Task on a 32-bit machine. The PrecompileScriptIntoBinaryCode property is set to True. After I build the package, the .dtsx file includes a <BinaryItem> element for that Task. Package runs fine on the dev machine, both in BIDS and as SQL Server Agent job. When I deploy the package to a 64-bit server, it runs fine when I execute the package ad hoc from SQL Server Management Studio. However, when I schedule the package for execution as a SQL Server Agent job, the package fails with the message: "the script files failed to load." I have reviewed posts on this error from late 2005, but the solutions don't work in this case. Specifically: 1. The Precompile property is already set to True. 2. I have already verified that the script was compiled. Any further suggestions?
I know that all the documentation always tells you that sp_recompile will force a stored procedure to recompile the next time it is executed. However, I am not seeing the recompiles in a SQL Trace, when capturing SP: Recompile events. I have tried this on many different database servers, using sp_recompile and also the WITH RECOMPILE option when creating the proc.
I have a search screen at the moment, and what it does is it calls a view listing all of the entries and then filters out based on the search criterias.
My question is... is that the most efficent way of doing things? If views are virtual tables, does that mean they already exist or does the database have to create the view each time it is called?
I am attempting to run an SSIS package that, among other things, imports a spreadsheet from excel into a database table. The package runs without any issues within Visual Studio. I have tried executing the package through both, the MSDB run package and through dtexec (trying to kick of the package through a stored procedure) and I get 2 different behaviors.
Using dtexec (the method I really need to use): The package will run successfully...up to the point when the spreadsheet is imported at which time it fails with Description: The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "Excel Connection Manager" failed with error code 0xC0202009. Here is the code:
Running it through the MSDB Run Package UI...It will also make it up to the point where the Excel spreadsheet is imported but errors with: The Product level is insufficient for the component "Lookup Station and Account Type: (1894) ...and 1 line with that same error for every single task in that dataflow. Here is the code it runs.
/DTS "MSDBPopulateTRTLStationandtRTLUnitMapping" /SERVER "SERVERNAME" /MAXCONCURRENT " -1 " /CHECKPOINTING OFF /REPORTING V
The machine is running 32 bit OS Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Db SQL Server 2005 32 bit. I found one forum posting that suggested turning the Delay Validation property to True...but that did not fix the issue. I did create the package with my username with a ProtectionLevel of EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey. I don't think it is related to the account however because all of the tasks (serveral work tables are created) up to the Excel import will execute.
I really need to get this working as soon as possible so am open to any solutions someone can present.
When attempting to save an SSIS package in Visual Studion I receive the following error message detailed below. If I attempt to "Save As" to another location, I then receive an insufficient storage error. The development machine has over 1.5 GB of available physical memory and several GB of disk space availabe to save my 16 MB package. I have checked the event log and have found no related messages in the Application or Server logs.
Any suggestions on how to determine the cause or resolution of this error message would be greatly appreciated.

I have Enterprise version of SQL Server 2012 & SQL server 2008. I understand that Image/Text/NText is obsoleted and should not be used. That being said I dont understand why I couldnt rebuild the following clustered index, while I could with nonclustered index, this happens on both SQL 2008 and 2012. Here are the DDL.
CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Demo]( [ID] [int] NOT NULL, [FK_ID] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [SomeColumn] [nvarchar](100) NOT NULL, [Image] [image] NULL ) ON [PRIMARY] TEXTIMAGE_ON [PRIMARY]
[code]...
An online operation cannot be performed for index 'IX1_Demo' because the index contains column 'Image' of data type text, ntext, image or FILESTREAM. For a non-clustered index, the column could be an include column of the index. For a clustered index, the column could be any column of the table. If DROP_EXISTING is used, the column could be part of a new or old index. The operation must be performed offline.
--Online rebuild works fine on non clustered index ALTER INDEX IX2_Demo ON Demo REBUILD WITH(ONLINE = ON)--It seems to me that some how having the Image datatype column in the table is an issue. eventhough that column is not part of the index.
I have developed one SSIS package. Later on i deleted one unused connection from it. When I try to deploy the package, it is giving error that the connection is missing from the container of collection. The same package is executing successfully even after throwing this error. Please advice
II am using file system for the SSIS Packages. I have several packages in a project. Most of these packages use configuration files. Infact there are several packages which use the same configuration files. Now when I try to run the build utility, it errors out saying that the name.dtsconfig file already exists. Seems like this is a bug. I would really like to use this utility.I know if the config file is not used in any other pacakge probably the build will not fail. But it is not good practice to have one config file for each package, it is redundancy, does not make sense to that. Is there any way I can use the build and deployment utility without this error.
i have a global variable that is a file dir param lets say: d:input2006_07_18.bcp.
this param supposed to be built from other 3 params i.e: day, month and year.
how do i build it dinamically i need the exact syntax. i have already put the filedir param as an evaluated expression but when i try to do somthing like:
@[User::Filename] + @[day] + @[month] + @[year] i get an error, although i succeed in putting only one param at its expression i.e: @[user:filename].
the question is how do i build the parameter that will b built from these 3 params in its expression.
I'm working with SSIS and I would add the Integration Service project to the daily build process but I need to know how to generate the <name>.SSISDeploymentManifest other then invoking the devenv.exe.
I use SQLDMO.Bulkcopy in an VB6 (have to) program to load data from aplain text file into a SQL Server 2000.One of the target columns is NOT NULL but it happens that I receive amissing value for that column in the source file. BulkCopy then has anODBC error raised that complains about the violated NOT NULLconstraint. The Bulkcopy error file however is empty. Is there a wayto figure out in which row of the source file the error occured ?Maybe a call to some ODBC diagnostics method to receive furtherinformation ? I'd like to avoid the obvious solution to drop theconstraint and then query the loaded data for NULL values.ThanksNils
I have an email script that keeps failing to load when I execute my script task. I have the precompileintobinarycode set to true. Anyone know why it won't load the script? I would use the Send Mail task but it can't find my smtp connection or something.
I have a package with a number of script components. All are set "PreCompile=True".
Within a Sequence Container I have a set of five script tasks each followed by an Execute Process Task. Each pair is linked but the five pairs are independent (hope this makes sense).
The first pair executed successfully but the other four all failed with the "Script files failed to load" error.
Anyone have a clue why this might happen or what I might change to solve the problem?
The package is scheduled under SS Agent so I'm currently thinking of taking these steps out of SSIS and putting them into the job. Not ideal but at least I can have some confidence that it will work.
I am running SQL 2008 Enterprize Edition with SP1 on Windows 2008. I am trying to set up replication. I have completed the following:
1. Created distribution Database 2. Created publisher 3. Granted SQL Agent access to the ...MSSQL100Com folder to execute the agent_exe files 4. Granted SQL Agent access to ...MSSQLinn where the subsystem_dll files are located 5. Granted SQL Agent write permissions to ...MSSQL epldata in order the write the bcp files
Each time I try to initialize the snapshot, I get the following errors in the SQL Agent Log
1. Log Step.......cannot be run because the LogReader subsystem failed to load. The job has been suspended. 2. Log Step.......cannot be run because the Snapshot subsystem failed to load. The job has been suspended.
I found posts where the records in the msdb.dbo.syssubsystems pointed to different folders than where the dll and exe files are located. So, I checked that, but they are correct.
The SQL Agent has sysadmin on the SQL Server and is using a windows service account.
I believe it is a security issue because I can run the executables from the command prompt to generate the snapshot for the publication. Have I missed the forest for the trees?
Hi, I am using Windows vista ultimate 32 bit. I installed SQL Server 2005 developer edition on my machine it installed ok but i cant open sql management studio. I have just installed SQL Server 2005 and SP2. but didnt get it working. I dont have any SQL Server Express or visual studio installed on the machine. I can see an icon of sql management studio in the programms menu When i try to open sql management studio it gives me an error saying "Progarm is closing" and it closes the whole SQL Server. Can any one help me please what is going wrong and where thanks in advance.
Getting this warning when I run my application. I have already read the posts that repeat the 'put it in your path mantra' over and over again. Please, do not redirect me to those posts they are useless. I am telling you I have this DLL in my java.library.path, and I know this because I can load the DLL with java.lang.System.loadLibrary. i even tried the directions on the MSDN sight and put the install path directly into my java.library.path. I still get the warning. Your driver has a bug, please fix it.

I am trying to run a SSIS Package from SQL Server BI Studio. I receive the error "The package failed to load due to error 0xC0011008". SQL Server 2008 R2 installed (32bit Win 7), along with Integration Services. The Package connects to a SQL Server DB.
Here is the full error taken from consol in BI Studio:
SSIS package "CreateDynSSIS_DB_RunDynSSiSDB.dtsx" starting. Error: 0x1 at ST_Gen_Pkg_Src_SqlServ: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DtsRuntimeException: The package failed to load due to error 0xC0011008 "Error loading from XML. No further detailed error information can be specified for this problem because no Events object was passed where detailed error information can be stored.". This occurs when CPackage::LoadFromXML fails.
The VB code was complied into a DLL called totalmem.dll and call following TSQL to map it into a SQL function:
create assembly totalmem from '!WORKINGDIR! otalmem.dll'
WITH PERMISSION_SET=UNSAFE
go
create function fnGetTotalMem()
returns int
as external name totalmem.SqlClrVB.GetTotalPhysicalMemory
go
When I call this function, it returned following error:
select dbo.fnGetTotalMem()
Msg 6522, Level 16, State 2, Line 0
A .NET Framework error occurred during execution of user defined routine or aggregate 'fnGetTotalMem':

Anyone knows why I'm hitting this error? I didn't reference any System.Web interface why it needs to load System.Web assembly? The same code runs OK if I compile it as a separate VB application out side of SQL Server 2005.
