The first six months will be displayed in each case.
But when i choose 6 months i just want to display first six months only.when i choose 12 months  i want to be displayed first 12 months columns only and for 18 months all the columns,.
In my report, I am having Listbox for users to choose Country, City & Company. The user can choose Country. Based on the country selection, cities will be listed out. Based on the city selection, Companies will be listed out. They can choose companies.
Now, I have to show two set of results.
A. List of Companies as per selection ( dataset with equal to selection )
B. List of Companies which are not selected ( ie dataset with not equal to selection )
I have created a dataset with all companies and filter it by selection. When I tried with the filter option in the Dataset, I am able to check for only one value and not for multiple value. If the selection is one company, then I can filter it. But if they choose 5 companies, I am not not able to filter it. Is there any other option I can try out.

This is a very strange result I had noticed while using the IsMissing property.
I had the following Expression.
=IIF(Fields!CertainField.IsMissing = True, "N/A", Sum(Fields!.CertainField.Value)) This should just put the text "N/A" into the textfield if the specific field is missing from the dataset in the report.
I had put this in the following TextFields:-
The group's detail and the table Footer.
The result that I had gotten show an empty textfield in the group's detail but showed "N/A" in the page footer. So I know that the expression I had used is correct since it showed up in the table footer. What baffles me is that it didn't give me a "#Error" in the textfield, but an empty string (which essentially is correct, since this particular field in the dataset is missing to begin with).
The question I am asking is, does this have anything to do with the scope or is it something else, and how do I resolve this problem ?
We're trying to launch a SSIS package throw a webservice. This WebService loads a configuration file with "myPackage.ImportConfigurationFile(pathConfig)" and assigns values to some variables with "myPackage.Variables.Item(Parameters.Keys.Item(i)).Value = Parameters.Item(i)". Seems to work.
I we execute the webmethod of the WebService, this works but only when we execute first time, the SSIS finished succesfully. But when we execute a second time the Webmethod, we've a lot of failure with messages:

I have a report with many matrices. Basically what I want to do is display a message such as "No History within Date Range Selected" if there is no data on the report (all of the matrices return no data).
Is there a way to determine if the report is returning no data and show a textbox message in that case?

I have an SSIS package set up to run various SQL scripts and to notify me if any of the SQL scripts fail. This is working fine, but when I get the email it only says that the script has failed. Is there any way to actually show the SQL result with the error in it? This would save me from having to go and manually run the script again to see the error message.
My query produces accurate results just produces one instance for each sales region. I am needing it to only give me one instance of each sales region and give me total counts. What should I re-write?

I´m creating a report in SSRS 2005 where you can filter after month and year. The result is the total sale for that particular month. What I want to do, is adding an extra column to compare with the result in the same month last year. F.eks. say that I choose january 2008 I would like to see the results for january 2007.
I thought of writing an expression to do that, but as that isn't my stronges side I would appreciate some help
Hi all...I've set the DataSourceMode = SqlDataSourceMode.DataSet, and did a .Type return and found that it is actually returning a DataView. Running into a quirk with creating a new dataset in RS 2005.
The dataset is based on a SQL proc, which I can identify and execute in the Data tab page and see the correct results when matched against the same params in SQL Studio.
However, the DataSets window only lists a single field call "ID" under my available fields listing, even though I can see all the correct fields in the pane right next to.
The structure of the sProc is similar to many that I have create reports on previously.
I want to change the display message when else is 0 to show "non active member", how to edit this query for this result .

I'm using Report builder 3.0 to create a report. In the design, datatset query i have a sql to calculate difference between two dates (date1-date2) as processing time. I have this (processing time ) ONLY in my ORDER by clause and when i execute the statement it does exactly what i was looking for , however when i run the report the sort order is not delivered. I checked each column tablix properties and the sorting order is set for Processing Time.
I have a report which contains three subreports. Each subreport is contained within a rectangle in the main report so I can force a page break after each subreport. In each of the subreports, there is a graphic and a text box on one line, then another text box below those two items, then a table below all that. My problem is that if one of the subreports returns no data, it is resulting in a NoRows sort of situation and not even the graphic and the two text boxes are shown. I understand that you can set a NoRows message, but ideally, I want my NoRows message to be the graphic and the two text boxes, not a plain text message.
I'm not sure if this is even possible or at the very least if I could conditionally force a page break in my rectangles based on whether one of the subreports returns a NoRows situation.
