I tried to deliver a report using data driven subscriptions option. But It does not process. In report manager, under status bar, it indicates 0 processing of 12 total; 0 errors. Although there is no error I can not see any reports on the shared folder. But when I go to Mngt Studio and select the specific report and try to refresh that reports subscription I get the following error.

I have a new setup of report server. I have deployed three reports that I have also scheduled to run and save as an Excel spreadsheet to a network locations. The reports do not run and I get the error message below. Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone run into this issue before

I am having a HUGE issue with SSRS, I am running SQL 2005 on Win 2003 server, the SQL uses SQL and windows permissions.
I have a datasource which stores it credentials securely on the server but for some reason when i try to subscribe to the report it errors saying
"Subscriptions cannot be created because the credentials used to run the report are not stored, or if a linked server the link is no longer valid."
Beats me but the credentials are stored, I am connecting using a user account which can run the report fine (This is proven).
I have SP1 installed, and have literally tried every last option in the book.
N.B i have read all the existing post about this and i seem to have a different issue, I am not using any paraeters in the report i am trying to test and i dont use anything like USR!USERID
I have a report subscription this is generating PDF files. The end user of the PDF files requires these files to be below a certain threshold in file size. Is there any way to set up a subscription to generate files that are under the threshold size?
If I knew approximately how many records would generate a report below the threshold, is there a way to generate several reports all of which are below the threshold? Thanks.
Is it possible to have a data-driven subscription over a report containing sub-reports? I have been trying but without sucess...
I was unable to create the data-driven over the report... only over a linked report to that same report, but even that way when i execute the subscription i get error...
If i create a the data-driven subs to every single sub-report it works fine! So why can't i create the data-driven over the report with those sub-reports? What can be causing the problem?
how can standard subscription or data driven subscription be used to deliver reports to specific email address.
the standard subscription or data driven subscription can be used to delever reports using Windows file share ,but how to make it work for delivering to emails..
I'm using data-driven subscription to deliver reports to users via email.
However every few days or so, some of the reports will fail to get delivered to some of the subscribers. The rpts and subscribers affected are usually not the same.
The log showed the below messages....would really appreciate if anybody can shed light on this! TIA!

I have a Daily Invoice Report that has subscriptions for all customers and is run every night. The report has parameters of @date & @Customer. We had issues with invoices not being sent due to the Owner on the reports was disabled in Active Directory. We do not know how many reports did not get sent out so I am tasked with creating a script to rerun the reports for each day in August. I have queried the subscriptions, but need to figure out how to rerun the reports using the existing parameters set in the subscription, increment the report parameter date, and execute the emailing of the report.
Here is my query that gives me all the subscription information, but how do I rerun the job for all subscriptions for each date in August?
SELECT USR.UserName AS SubscriptionOwner ,SUB.ModifiedDate ,SUB.[Description] ,SUB.EventType ,SUB.DeliveryExtension
SSRS 2000 Data driven subscription uses a SQL query to create report parameter values.
The subscription errors are inconsistent meaning sometimes no reports in a batch fail and sometimes 3 out of 5 will fail. I don't think it is data related because I'm using the same data each time.
When a report fails to email there is a consistent error related to rendering a chart. That message is in red below.
The data source is Analysis Services 2000. Has anyone seen this before? I've seen a lot of postings that are similar but no solutions. Is it possible for RS to lose data or get corrupt data from an MDX query?
Is there a timeout between RS and Analysis Services (PivotTable Service) to check?

How do I prevent empty reports from being sent as part of a SQL Reporting Services subscription
I have reports based on a query that some time has data and other times does not. I only want the report sent to users via email through subscrption if there is data available.
I want to avoid sending a report without data. How can I set this up?
It seems to me that if a scheduled SSRS report subscription fails ( Status Message - An error has occurred during report processing) , that I actually need to delete the subscription and reconfigure it from scratch. The scheduled job doesn't try to run again automatically (say the next Monday on a weekly Monday schedule).
Is there a way to "reset" a failed subscription without have to recreate the entire subscription?
Existing subscription already contains table included in the new subscription.
What are the possible causes of this merge replication error? Could it be caused by a SQL Server Compact Edition User trying to sync their .sdf file after their subscription has already expired on the SQL Server?
Would you expect to see a different message if a SQL Server Compact Edition user tried to sync a subscriber database (.sdf file) with merge replication if it's been longer than the subscription retention period since their last sync?
Hello SQL Server Experts, Data Analysts, and Report Writers et al:
re: Reporting Options with SQL Server
I wanted to propose an offshoot to the pryor thread:
Would anyone take a stab at comparing Access Reports, Crystal Reports, Cognos or other options to all the Reporting Services and its components offered as part ofSQL Server, especially as to extracting data from SQL Server into a report format?
I guess this is a far as capabilites, ease of use, limitations, and especially formatting or presentation of the end report product?
Thank you to all, and I hope this is a beneficial discussion to others.
I have an already published application running several MS SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services report. I need a way to find from either the reporting services log or the application server (IIS) logs or windows log to know the frequency of each report being used.
Based on this info, the business needs to know which reports are being used and to what extend? How can I acheive this?
I have already got the IIS logs and it did not give the required info. I have looked into the Reporting Services logs but it does not provide the info either.

My issue is with converting multi-value parameters:
In Crystal Reports, you can set a parameter to accept multiple vales (Discrete, Range or Discrete and Range).
As an example:
I have a database table with a column called ID. I can create a parameter called param_id and set the options of the parameter to "Allow multiple range values".
With this setup, I can limit the result set of the report by comparing the param_id parameter to the ID column in the database. Because param_id is a multi-value range parameter, I can pass it the following data: 1 - 50 60 - 80 150 - 127
This will only return results within those ranges.
Does anyone know if SSRS provides this kind of functionality?
Is there a way to copy reports from other users "My reports" folder? I am logging onto the management studio reporting services using an administrative account and I am able to view the reports from all users' "My Reports" folder. But I am not able to export them as an rdl file. I am able to export reports from other common folders, but not from the "My Reports" folder.
The reason I need to do this is some of the users have created some reports in one environment and the reports are available in their respective "My Reports" folder. I need to move these reports to their corresponding "My Reports" folder in another environment.
1. I downloaded ChartFXRSTrial and created one chart, and able to deploy it in ReportServer, but the problem is the reports are not showing there, i checked the configuration of .dll files in the help provided by chartFX, but couldn't get anything, so could help me on this.
2. How to give Tooltip for the X- axis or Y- axis values in the ReportServer , i tried using chartproperties of .rdl file, but didnt understand it. can help me on this, and one more i tried with Dundas too, If im giving tooltip as #valy then, it is showing samething in reportserver instead the values of 'Y-axis'.
We are migrating our reporting services database from one server to another.
What needs to be done to subscriptions to ensure they work properly. Will they automatically update as part of the migration, or is there a manual process.
We are using Reporting Services 2000 and will be using Reporting services 2000 as well on the new server.
Hi all, I'm creating data driven subscription for parameterized reports. I'm supposed to deliver one report to six different customers. But each customer can see only his own data in the report. This is not a problem. But the problem is I need another report in which all the data can be seen. When I create DD subsription, I chosed Auto increment option for the write mode under "
Specify delivery extension settings for Report Server FileShare" . But then it creates seperate report for each parameter value. But it does not create the report which contains all the data for all parameter values. How can I make it without creating another report. Also when I use overwrite option instead of Auto Increment, It creates only one reports. Does any one know why it happens?
Hi, I am doing a repl.in SQL7/NT. At time of 'Push Subscription wizard' - I used the option "Yes,Initialize the schema and data......" whereas I already had data and schema at the subscriber. Now my question is what will happen now and how long will this process take(for approx5GB of DAta). OR should I stop the process - it's already an hour when I started the process. Any suggestion appreciated.
I have created a subscription pull from one SQL server to another so that the database from one SQL server is replicated to another. But when the subscription runs, no data appears in the subscriber SQL server. When I check the subscription, I see that the database is connecting to the publisher but that is it. I have the login correct but what am I missing? Do the tables in the subscriber database have to be already created and matching the ones in the publisher database before the subscription runs or are they automaticaly created after the subscription runs?
I have a data driven subscription with the information about the file name/file extension/ path etc coming in from a database. The problem is that the subscription status after running tells me that things are done and there is no error but the file is not being generated in the specified directory and for that reason the file is not generated at all anywhere on the hard disk. can anybody please help.
The information in the database for the report is as follows
Because of problems trying to alter databases used for replication my software would need to find out if a database is a publisher or was repliated (using T-SQL). Is this possible?
I want to use window script program to execute a pull subscription installed on SQL 2005 express edition. Because it free for downloand. is there a script that can call an existing pull subscription execution.
is there anyone know how to drop subscription from the publisher database without a connection to the subscriber(because the subscriber server is formated)
