The Push Method Returned One Or More Error Rows. See The Specified Error Table. [ Error Table Name = ]
Jan 10, 2008
Hi,
I have application in which i am performing synchronization between SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 CE.
I have one table "ItemMaster" in my database.There is no relationship with this table,it is standalone.I am updating its values from Windows Mobile Device.
I am performing below operations for that.
Step : 1 Pull To Mobile
Code BlockmoSqlCeRemoteDataAccess.Pull("ItemMaster", "SELECT * FROM ItemMaster", lsConnectString,RdaTrackOption.TrackingOn);
Step : 2 Using one device form i am updating table "ItemMaster" table's values.
So i am getting an error on 3rd step.
While i am trying to push it says,
"The Push method returned one or more error rows. See the specified error table. [ Error table name = ]".
I have tried it in different ways but still i am getting this error.
Note : Synchronization is working fine.There is not issue with my IIS,SQL CE & SQL Server 2k.
Can any one help me?I am trying for that since last 3 days.
I have a seach on UserID enetred in a textbox by user.
When the user types a userID which has no data in the database can I display an error msg instead of the chart and table that is displayed on entering a valid userID.
I'm trying to create a simple Data transfermation. I have a flat file that came of a unix server.. it's 177 bytes wide.. thought it was 175, but when I created the flat file connector, I could see some extra characters on the end.
My output is going to be an excel spreadsheet, I only want two columns from the input. I created an oledb jet 4.0 connection. and followed instructions from here :
On my first attempt to dataflow, I ran into unicode errors and had to do this:
ran into a problem with unicode errors. went to the source for the flat file. for the output column in question changed to Unicode string [DT_WSTR].
When I run , here are the errors I get:

I am trying to make a custom task. The custom task has one input, which i map to externalmetadata column in the task and one output.
When i run the task it fails with this error ( I am putting the whole SSIS message)

This is my piece of code which is trying to put the data in the output buffer (ProcessInput function).
I know we can redirect a error to say an OLE DB Destination or textfile. Is there something we can do so that I can know seeing the error table the reason for which the row failed.
The Error table will look just similar to the destination table, but for one col which should hold the reason say 'Truncate error' etc...
I am using windows 2003 server and i have installed SSAS 2005 and configured http request for AS 2005 with this below url : http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2005/httpasws.mspx. I had tried all the possiblities given in this url. But i am getting like "Test connection failed because of error initializing provider. The HTTP Server returned the following error : Not found" when i create udl file. Moreover i have installed MSOLAP 3.0 and OLAP 9.0 provider and MSXML 6.0 Parser.
When I try to view the report, I got the error "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. ". And in the event log , I got the detaiil excception:

I'm using reporting service 2005, does anybody know the reason?
Hi All, I have a table containing 21 columns. I want to alternate the color on the rows, to make it more radable and nocer to the eye. As such I set the BackgroundColor property on the entire TableRow (so it is applied to every textbox) to the following:
In theory it should work. I checked a few of the texboxes to make sure everything was okay and indeed the BackgroundColor property on each one of them was properly set to the above expression.
When I tried to build the report, I was prompted by 21 errors (one per textbox) stating the following:
[rsCompilerErrorInExpression] The BackgroundColor expression for the textbox 'FIELDNAME' contains an error: [BC30455] Argument not specified for parameter 'TruePart' of 'Public Function IIf(Expression As Boolean, TruePart As Object, FalsePart As Object) As Object'.
Obviously the TruePart parameter has been specified ("LightGray" in my expression), so what could be wrong??
ALTER TABLE [dbo].[CalCalendar] ALTER COLUMN [OID] uniqueidentifier NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY NONCLUSTERED
is answered with:
Server: Msg 156, Level 15, State 1, Line 2 Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'PRIMARY'.
which I consider to be interesting. Anyone has an idea why? I checked documentation but I do not see an error.
Note that:
ALTER TABLE [dbo].[CalCalendar] ALTER COLUMN [OID] uniqueidentifier NOT NULL
DOES get executed, and
ALTER TABLE [dbo].[CalCalendar] ALTER COLUMN [OID] uniqueidentifier NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY
produces the same error.
Now, in my understanding this has nothing to do with an index may already exist etc. - the eror indicates a SYNTAX error, before any checking. Makes no sense to me, though, reading the documentation.
I'm trying to send a Test Email to Operators defined in a SQL 7.0 server (currently on SP2). And get the following error message: "Error 22022: SQLServerAgent Error: MAPI error: Table too big."
We've checked the email profiles (also performed test on SQL MAIL) and can stop/start SQL Mail successfully. Verified that the accounts are correctly identified with appropriate permissions. MSDB is 150MB with no table that looks abnormal in size.
Has anyone come across this situation? Please let me know. THANKS!!!
I got Form Authentication to work, but I am getting this error sometimes. To reproduce this error consistantly is to run iisreset.exe to have a fresh start. Go to my report server login and open any report.
The page will display: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
If i click "F5" to refresh the page the report will show up or if you go to another report it will work also. It is just the first time after iisreset.exe. It is very strange.

While trying to push a tracked table using RDA.push, I get the following error:
Error Code: 80004005
The message cannot be built. The make message failed.
Minor Err: 28581
Source: Microsoft SQL server 2005 Mobile Edition.
All other tables in the database are getting pulled and pushed correctly. This table is different only in the larger number of columns, around 150. It has a primary key, no other constraints.
Any help to find the reason for this error will be greatly appreciated.
I'm able to pull the metatdata down from my sql server to my handheld for table, I can then add data to that table on the handheld, when I try to push it back to Sql Server table I pulled from, I'm getting the following error message:
The Push method returned one or more error rows. See the specified error table. [ Error table name = ErrorTable ]
what does this mean, and how can I push my table back to the table I pulled from? I have trackingOn set on the pull process.
I am working on SQL Server 2005 (x64) with Windows Server 2003 (x64) operating system. I am having a major issue in SSIS. Here is the detailed explanation of the issue :
I have an EXCEL file in 2003 / 2007 version. It contains some data. I want to import the data using SSIS into SQL Server 2005 (x64) database table. I have taken "EXCEL FILE SOURCE" and "SQL Server DESTINATION". It was failed on importing data. Surprisingly it works fine in SQL Server 2005 (x32). Can you please explain why it is NOT woking on (x64) ?
Here is the error code i am getting:

I have SQL Server Management Studio Express (SSMS Express) and SQL Server 2005 Express (SS Express) installed in my Windows XP Pro PC that is on Microsoft Windows NT 4 LAN System. My Computer Administrator grants me the Administror Privilege to use my PC. I tried to use SQLQuery.sql (see the code below) to create a table "LabResults" and insert 20 data (values) into the table. I got Error Messages 102 and 156 when I did "Parse" or "Execute". This is my first time to apply the data type 'decimal' and the "VALUES" into the table. I do not know what is wrong with the 'decimal' and how to add the "VALUES": (1) Do I put the precision and scale of the decimal wrong? (2) Do I have to use "GO" after each "VALUES"? Please help and advise.
Thanks in advance,
Scott Chang

but after the assignment the LocalConnectionString is different from ConnectionStringWithoutCredentials, there are much more ssce parameters.
What I don't understand is:
why I'm getting this error even after closing the connection ?
Since the error report [32] the ssce conflicting parameters shoud be AUTO_SHRINK_THRESHOLD, FLUSH_INTERVAL and MAX_DATABASE_SIZE
I tried to cut & paste the same values from LocalConnectionString into app.config connection string, at first It seemed to work, but now I got the same error.

We predict whether the services are automatically restarted or transaction logs exceeding the limit or any other parameters to set to avaoid this error?

There is only 1 ESDU root element and only 1 package element.
Of course, the XSLT stylesheet is also an XML document in its own right. I specify it directly in the XML Task:

Hi i am a newbie in sql so any help would be appreciated. i have a serverlog table that initially had one server and different functions types, my sql query got a percentage of the execution times for the different functions and all worked well, however as soon as i put more servers in to the table i got the following error...
"Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression."
Here is my SQL, the problem is with the sub queries returning more than one server type... Hope somebody can help and thanks in advance..
SELECT server, [function], prelimquery * 100 AS [%OverallProcessingTime] FROM (SELECT server, [function], subquerya / (SELECT subqueryb FROM (SELECT totalallreqexec * (SELECT AVG([exec_time]) FROM llserverlogs) AS subqueryb FROM (SELECT COUNT(*) AS totalallreqexec FROM llserverlogs) DERIVEDTBL) DERIVEDTBL) AS prelimquery FROM (SELECT server, [function], NoRequestExecutions * (SELECT avgexectime FROM (SELECT DISTINCT server, AVG(exec_time) AS avgexectime FROM llserverlogs GROUP BY server) DERIVEDTBL) AS subquerya FROM (SELECT DISTINCT server, [function], COUNT(*) AS NoRequestExecutions FROM llserverlogs GROUP BY server, [function]) DERIVEDTBL) DERIVEDTBL) DERIVEDTBL
Hi group I get the above error in my SP when the tblHolidayDates has more than one record. Here is my SP: begin
if datediff(day,getdate()-10 ,(Select HolidayDate from tblHolidayDates))= 3 AND DATEPART(dw,(select holidaydate from tblHolidayDates)) = 1 -- Monday Date SELECT su.SuspensionID, su.ConsentNo, si.SiteID, si.NameNo + ' ' + si.Address1 AS SiteAddress, si.SiteDesc, si.SuspensionStart, si.SuspensionEnd, si.Address1, si.BaysAttached, rd.RefValue AS NoticeDays, si.MergeID FROM Suspension su INNER JOIN SiteData si ON su.SuspensionID = si.SuspensionID INNER JOIN RefData rd ON si.NotReq = rd.RefCode WHERE su.Status = 'ACT' and si.Archived = 'N' and (datediff(day, getdate()-10 , si.SuspensionStart) = rd.RefValue OR (datediff(day, (Select holidaydate from tblHolidayDates), si.SuspensionStart)= rd.RefValue + 2) or datediff(day,(Select holidaydate from tblHolidayDates), si.SuspensionStart)=rd.RefValue + 1) end
Could someone please explain why I get the following errors ?
I have them in 15 out of 20 packages and its always the same, I have tried, removing the columns from the data source but it just seems to jump then to another column.
I have also tried redirecting the errors to a differnet error database but ALL the rows just seem to be errors then
In event viewer I get no further information simply
[Flat File Source [1]] Error: Data conversion failed. The data conversion for column "Column 42" returned status value 2 and status text "The value could not be converted because of a potential loss of data.".
[Flat File Source [1]] Error: The "output column "Column 42" (176)" failed because error code 0xC0209084 occurred, and the error row disposition on "output column "Column 42" (176)" specifies failure on error. An error occurred on the specified object of the specified component.
[DTS.Pipeline] Error: The PrimeOutput method on component "Flat File Source" (1) returned error code 0xC0202092. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing.
Any input at all is welcome, Im still a newbie at this
I have some code that calls a stored procedure on SQL Server 2005 using the Microsoft JDBC driver 1.1. The code normally works however, every once in a while an exception is thrown:
Code Snippet
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !, <,<=, >, >=, or when the subquery is used as an expression.
Generally, this has been resolved by restarting SQL Server 2005, but why is it showing up to being with?
Stored Procedure:
Code Snippet
ALTER Procedure [dbo].[addRecord] @userID int, @itemID int, @info varchar(50), @comment varchar(50), @output int output AS
Declare @dateSubmitted datetime set @dateSubmitted = getDate();
--Insert the new record. THIS TABLE has an ID identity Primary Key --column that auto-increments. insert into RecordTable (UserPerson, Information, DateSubmitted) values (@userID, @info, @dateSubmitted);
---Get the ID Assigned in the record table. The Item table ---has a Foreign key on this column. Declare @assignedID int set @assignedID = (select ID from RecordTable where DateSubmitted = @dateSubmitted)
/**Set the output parameter.*/ set @output = @assignedID;
--Now update the Item Table. insert into Item (ID, RecordID, Comment) values (@item,@assignedID, @comment);
I'm running Vista Ultimate. SQL 2005 is set as my Default instance, and SQL2000 is set as (local)SQL2000.
Today, actually half way through today, I restarted my computer after installing Photoshop Updates.
Upon getting my computer back up and running, I cannot access SQL2000 from any website on my computer, nor can I access it from SQL2005 Management Stdio. I CAN access it from Enterprise Manager (SQL2000 tool).
Whenever I run an web app that connects to it I get this error:
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)
Now I usually get these when ASP.NET can't point to the right spot, but in this case I'm pointing exactly where I need to go. Any thoughts?

I should also add my password got changed a few days ago on our Domain. This was the first time restarting after the PW change.
