At the bottom it shows me 1/10 i.e 1st page of 10 pages.
but what do i do if i want it to be shown as 1-10 out of 100 (if each page contains 10 results).
or it would be really good if i get count of both no. of recors as well as no. of pages.

I want to remove the month and have one total per organization number, as well as remove NULL as show as 0.

Apr 17, 2007I'm using an application that produce 48000000 reads for one stored procedure and 170 seconds to complete. The same procedure when executed in SQL Analyzer takes only one seconds and 10000 reads.

How To Determine Total Number Of Pages At Runtime?
Sep 5, 2007It's no secret that the number of pages in a rendered report varies depending on the format. I have no problem getting the total number of pages for reports rendered in image formats from the web service, but I can't figure out how to get the number of pages for reports rendered in HTML.
I've always been under the impression that the Report Manager that ships with SSRS uses the same web service (reportservice.asmx) and IT can get the number of HTML pages, so it has to be possible.
Does anyone know how to do it?

Table:
Start Date End Date
01/01/2013 04/30/2014

06/01/2015 12/31/2015
My expected result.
2013 - 365
2014 - 181
2015 - 365
Note:
Date range can span b/w  multiple years
Date ranges will not overlap
I just want the total number of days covered by the range for each year.
Is there any simple way to do this calculation.

Aug 17, 2015I have a transformation where final result set give me 25 rows of data. Now before I put into destination table, I need to add another column which will show how many total records we have. Like.
My dataset:
A Â 20 abc
B 24 mnp
c 44 apq
Now I need to add another column within my transformation before I store the result set to destination like this:
A 20 abc 3
b 24 mnp 3
c 44 apq 3
Here. new column gives count of total rows in our dataset which was 3.
How can I achieve this? Can I use derive column to this?

Nov 19, 2015If I just use a simple select statement, I find that I have 8286 records within a specified date range.
If I use the select statement to pull records that were created from 5pm and later and then add it to another select statement with records created before 5pm, I get a different count: 7521 + 756 = 8277
Is there something I am doing incorrectly in the following sql?

SQL Server 2008 :: Pulling Daily Total From Cumulative Total
Jun 28, 2015I have a table that writes daily sales each night but it adds the day's sales to the cumulative total for the month. I need to pull the difference of todays cumulative total less yesterdays. So when my total for today is 30,000 and yesterday's is 28,800, my sales for today would be 1,200. I want to write this to a new field but I just can't seen to get the net sales for the day. Here is some sample data. For daily sales for 6-24 I want to see 2,000, for 6-25 3,000, 6-26 3,500, and 6-27 3,500. I'm thinking a case when but can't seem to get it right.

Adding Subreport Total To Main Report Total
Apr 28, 2006Hi, can anyone help?
I have created a Report using Visual studio-the report displays a subreport within it.
On the Subjective Report I have 12 values for each month of the year.
For the first month the value is =sum(Fields! Month_1.Value), and I
have named this text box €™SubRepM1€™
The name of the subreport is €˜subreport1'.
On my Main Report, again I have 12 values for each month of the year.
For the first month the value is =sum(Fields! Month_1.Value)*-1, and I
have named this text box 'MainRepM1'
The name of the main report is 'GMSHA Budget Adjustment Differentials'
The report displays both of the subreport and main report values
but I now need to total these values together for each month in order to
produce a grand total.
I have tried using the following to add the totals for Month 1 together,
=subreport1.Report.SubRepM1 + MainRepM1
but this does not work and I get the following error message €˜The value expression for the text box 'textbox18'contains an error [BC30451] Name subreport1 is not declared'.
I feel that it should be a simple matter of adding the two sets of values together but I€™m having major problems trying to get these totals to work.

Feb 27, 2008I want to calculate how many number of people have got loans. In my report, there is one column called customerName. I can use count(CustomerName). But sometimes cutomers name appears twise or thrise. count(customerName) does not give the write nu of customers. How do I write T-SQL expression to get the rite no of customer?

Sep 26, 2007I am trying to link my ORDERS table to my CUSTOMERS table.
The Primary key in the CUSTOMERS table is a UNIQUEIDENT.
The foreign key it is linking to is an INT.
When I run a query in ACCESS, it says type mismatch....
Any solutions?
