Ad Type Banners Keeps Popping Up On Random Spots On Screen
Sep 9, 2015
Sometimes while im playing games or watching youtube videos or just doing nothing i will get random white banners of text that have ads in them like when you scroll over something and it tells you what it does. Here is a picture http: [URL] ....
They keep popping up on random spots on my screen and dont go away until about 5 mins or so then another one pops up. This might be adware or something i dont know any fix?
Just had an update overnight to what I think is Windows Phone 10.The icons in the corner of all the banners flash constantly and pressing the banners does nothing.
The search box keeps popping open at random. I turned off Cortana but the search box keeps coming on. This is very annoying. If I want to do a search I'll open it myself. How can I stop the Cortana / Search box from popping itself on?
Ok, I thought this was just bitlocker stuff but its all removable drives.
When I connect a removable drive I don't get a notification banner. I get a sound and the notification goes straight to Action Center instead of showing the banner. I've gone in and disabled and renabled all the notifications, Ive made sure both "Banner" and "Sounds" are enabled for everything, but still nothing.
When I get an email in Outlook I get the banner like I'm supposed to, others programs like Logitech Gaming Software are also showing banners, so it seems like a device connection thing at the moment.
Upgraded Windows 10. Left computer overnight. Blue windows start screen with password entry. Cant type password. In the lower right corner there is a wifi, clock and shut down button. mouse pointer does nothing. I can do a hard shut down with on/off button but still comes back with the same display.
I noticed within the past week that, when my PC is locked and the lock screen is showing, it will randomly look like it's trying to log in without any action on my part. The lock screen will go up and then the loading circle will appear for a few seconds. Then, the screen goes black and it returns to the lock screen image. I have no problems logging in or out, but it's just kind of annoying and buggy. This is on both my laptop and my desktop.
Since I updated to windows 10 from windows 7 I have been getting a weird shutdown that happens at the windows 10 loading screen. My computer will just shut off from there. But if I try again a second time it loads without issue and I am able to do intensive tasks. It also does not happen when i restart the computer only after shutting down. My temperatures on my gpu, cpu and gpu are normal. What could be causing this. Never had these issues with windows 7.
Things I tried -updating windows 10 -update my bios to the latest version -checked for viruses

Although normally random, the freeze (to which this dump file is related) happened whilst listening to music in firefox, using teamspeak 3 and playing guild wars 2, after 2 hours with no issues.I have run memtest86 in multiple memory configs, only to receive under 10 errors in test 13 which I understand is OK.The errors are systematic for my type of memory (all sticks show similar errors in test 13 regardless of memory slot).

A few days ago I started getting random blue screens and why everything is hooked up correctly and all the components work so my issue here are my PC Specs:
Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU AMD Athlon II X2 235 Regor 45nm Technology
few issues with my windows 10 installation, had a few problems with the previous installation so formatted and re-installed windows 10 only to be faced with the same issue, so posting here. below is the BSOD collection and all relevant information.
Issue: black screen randomly happens, can be doing anything from playing a windows store game to just browsing the web, checked the event viewer and each time it happens a bugcheck shows with error 0x116 which is a graphics driver crash and failure to recover, I know that much, so, any hopes of fixing it? Never happened on windows 7, problem is specific to windows 10, tried editing the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/GraphicsDrivers TdrDelay and adding a value to 8 as provided here: URL...
I currently have Windows 10 and recently I've encountered some random screen noise appearing when I turn on or return from sleep mode on my computer. This does not happen every time, but It only happens every 3 days to a week. I cannot get this to repeat as this happening is random.I can only get rid of this when I force a shutdown through holding down the power button and then restarting.
I am using Nvidia driver 355.98.
Noise After some time the noise disappears and then I'm left with a black screen.
Randomly getting a BSOD while gaming, or sometimes at complete random. What this dmp file points too? tried to do some research on the hal.dll driver, no specific luck on what could cause it.
My PC keeps freezing randomly, can be while gaming, online or even when it is just sitting idle on the desktop. Iv'e reinstalled windows twice and updated all my drivers but it still keeps on happening.
My Specs are: Intel Core i5 4430 - no overclock 1 x 4gb DDR3 RAM Gigabyte B85M-D3H Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 Cooler Master RS-500-PCAP-I3
When the crash happens there is no blue screen and the screen just freezes. If there is any sound playing it just goes into a buzzing sound and stays like this until I reboot, after this the PC starts like normal. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
On three occasions, my laptop has crashed displaying the blue screen. If I recall correctly, the blue screens occured while I was either browsing the web or reading a PDF..
My computer has since for as long as I remember experiencing bsod crashes at varying frequencies. I have previously searched online for this twice, but without any success. The error messages in on bsod vary a lot, but I think all that information is in the attached file. And I don't think there's much more to say about it.
I just upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago and ever since, I've been getting a random popping noise in my speakers. I have tried everything I can think of. I've updated my drivers and my Bios. (From HP site) I've uninstalled and reinstalled the audio (Realtek) driver. This problem never happened in Windows 8. I'm about to switch back to Windows 8.
Since I upgraded to Windows 10, many things have been problematic. However, my issue currently is that the Date and Time keep popping up and remain popped up. I am referring to the one which shows and entire month calendar, along with the time, day, etc. It would usually occur upon clicking on the time and date in the lower left hand corner. Whenever I click that to get rid of the expanded version, it shows up again a few seconds later as if I clicked on it.
I have noticed a couple times while using my laptop that my ram and memory usage goes up while doing nothing. I go and check processes and find that store, calc, movies & tv, calendar and mail are all running even though I haven't opened them up. Are they updating in the background? I usually will just end them, but if there is a reason they are running than I'll just let them be.
why the Command window keeps popping up all the time and I did look up as to whats going on and can't seem to find the problem, restart, turned it off and just let it sit there doing nothing and yet still pops up, the 29th is when everyone was able to get it so I did and have not had this problem with windows 8.
I don't know what triggers it and have yet to zero in on some gesture or part of the screen that calls up the black box. But sometimes it just seems like it randomly pops up when I'm doing something and I have to X it.
