Sudden Boot Loop Into Blue Screen
Feb 15, 2016I woke up this morning to a constant boot loop into blue screen that gives me a memory_management blue screen error and restarts then occasionally gives me a driver_corrupted_expool blue screen.
It tries to start up automatic system repair which fails and works very rarely. Once i am in the system repair screen i try the startup repair and it just doesn't do anything and redirects me back to the blue screen boot loop. I had restarted my PC this morning after it was working and then it just randomly started doing this boot loop.
I need fixing my issue with a bootable USB program i can use to fix the drivers or something. I need every other option other than reinstalling windows because i have tons of files i need on here.

Feb 10, 2016I was looking at a video on youtube, didn't do anything, all of a sudden the sound goes out. I make sure nothing on youtube is muted and it wasn't. Oct 21, 2015Yesterday, out of the blue, I was no longer able to left click on a folder to open it. If I right click and then choose open, it will open. I get the error message:
I have not made any changes lately and I don't know what could cause this as I have never experienced this on any version of windows. I am running Windows 10 Enterprise on my Dell XPS 8100 with an Intel i5 Processor at 3.20Mhz and 8 GBs of DDR3 RAM, and a 1 TB HDD which is about 1/2 full/empty.

Sudden Loss Of Internet Access On One Computer
Apr 7, 2016One of my computers has suddenly lost internet access, and as far as I can remember all I was doing last time I used it was going on the internet to websites I normally go to. All other computers and devices are fine. The computer in question says WiFi is connected, but no programs can access it including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and my VPN. I haven't noticed any other problems on that computer.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Troubleshooting internet connection - no problems detected
Scanning with Webroot - no threats detected
Turning OFF Webroot - no change
When I try to access a website with Google Chrome I get the error message DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET.
Hibernate / Fast Boot Causes Sudden Shut Down
Jan 3, 2016I've been in the Windows Insider program since it started, getting every new build, and I usually hibernate my PC to keep all my apps open, only rebooting for updates that need it.
This has been fine on Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, up until the November update. I downloaded the initial, "faulty" November ISO with the media creation tool, but didn't get round to installing it until after it'd been pulled and reinstated. So I used NTLite to integrate that update in to the ISO I already had and did a clean install of that.
Everything was great until the next morning when I turned it on again. It booted as normal until it got to the Windows boot screen, which flashed on screen for 1 second or so before the PC just instantly powered down, like someone had pulled the plug out.
I troubleshooted this for ages and eventually worked out it's hibernation and fast boot - the only way to make the PC boot properly again is to go in to the BIOS and change the amount of memory given to the integrated GPU so you're effectively changing the hardware of the machine, which makes Windows dump the hibernate images and boot from scratch.
Networking :: Sudden Slowdown In Internet Speed On One Laptop Only
Oct 29, 2015Up until recently Ive had a steady and stable internet connection on all devices, however recently on one laptop the connection is now incredibly slow (multiple tests on bandwidthplace.com show download speeds of 0.1 Mbps while on another laptop connected to the same connection shows over 7mbps). Connection to my android phone works fast too, I don't know what is making this happen, Ive tried resetting the router, refreshing the connection, releasing/renewing the ip. Not sure what to do here, as I don't have this problem connected to other networks, and other devices on this network aren't experiencing the same issues.
I also updated to the latest available driver from my manufacturer's website and I'm not 100% sure if I have all the latest windows updates since the connection is barely sustained, but I believe I do as I frequently manually check for updates in addition to automatic updates being enabled.

Apr 5, 2015Experiencing problem with the modern apps, where the content of the app is bigger than the actual app window, so it is impossible to use it, because the controls (buttons, input fields, scrollbars are not visible)?
Resizing of the app does not work, as the content is still bigger (its wrongly resizing with the window). Even maximized app is still unusable.
It occurs mainly in the Skype, Mail, People or Calendar apps. As you can see on the Skype screenshot, as soon as app starts it shifts the skype logo to the right, and the whole content is shifted as well.
You can also see the shift bellow, as the Options menu is partially hidden as well.
Skype is impossible to use, because the text input field on bottom is not visible.

Oct 24, 2015All of sudden Application and even print window is opening full Page thus I am not able to click even buttons like Accept, Next, Finish, Print etc which are overlapping the taskbar and even I am not able to reach below for cross arrows to pull the windows above. Though with Auto Hide taskbar, I am able to click these buttons but I am not liking this Auto Hide feature. Is there any other way out so that these windows could be permanently kept small size giving ample space both above and below these windows.

Jan 31, 2016I have an Insignia 8" tablet that I use to listen to an internet radio station. WiFi connection to my 2Wire 3801HGV router. I have it powered by the AC charger. I have the display to turn off after 5 minutes, never to go into sleep mode when powered by AC. After the 5 minutes the display is turned off, the music continues as expected and will continue for hours. But if I try to do anything I loose my WiFi.Right after the screen is shut off I can enable it again with a stroke. Then the music stops. I no longer have internet access.
Network settings says I still am connected but somewhere the connection is broken. I disconnect from my router and then try to reconnect and it will not. I get, Checking Network Requirements, Can't connect to this Network. The only way I have been able to get connected is to do a restart. I have not found any settings that have been useful. All it should be doing is shutting off the screen. Not go into any other sleep or power down state.
Installation :: Black Screen Of Doom But Booted To Login Screen (no Cursor Just Blank)
Jan 18, 2016I did a bit of research and this seems to have been an issue for a while, or has been in the past. Was upgrading to windows 10, I first had to restart my pc cause it was initially stuck on that preparing to install problem with the green bar being stuck around 25%.
It then got through that and began the installation process with the big circle and rebooting process. However around 91% when I last looked at it it was just black screen, this stayed this way for about 3-4 hours. I then decided to reboot the pc and it has now booted to the login screen. Is this a known bug or could there be a possible issue?
The problem seems a bit different as some people I saw have had to fall back on PC restore points etc. So not sure if it installed or what could be the problem.
Also side note, I upgraded my pc when windows 10 first publically released, but rolled back because I had about 5min shutdown times.
Installation :: Upgrade Laptop With Broken Screen / Blurry Toolbar Black Screen
Oct 10, 2015I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge with an Intel I5 processor, 64 bit with no hardware upgrades (stock). I had accidentally stepped on the screen (fell off my lap and then crunch) which was mangled beyond repair, so I have been using it similar to a tower, with a VGA and/or HDMI connected monitor (my HDMI cable went bad, I picked up a new cable but hadn't hooked it up to the second monitor. I started my free upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to 10 last night. I woke up to the black screen/mouse pointer issue which is what brought me to this thread. I tried the recommended fix:
1. Hit ctrl, type in password and enter
2. Win Key + P + Down Arrow. (Win Key + P only seems to do the same thing)
This brought up options to
1. Disconnect projector (Tried this and lost connection to the VGA even after reboot)
2. Duplicate (Screen is still black with mouse cursor, but I saw a little bit of red and blue pixels at the bottom where the task bar should be until I disconnected and re-connected the VGA, then it was back to black screen and cursor)
3. Extend (still black screen and cursor)
4. Connect Projector (still black screen and cursor)
I'm not sure what to do. I must have some OS installed, because I am able to also perform these operations from my USB Keyboard/Mouse. I'm just not sure how to get Windows back on my VGA connection (I haven't tried HDMI because I did not have it connected when I ran the update.) I thought Duplicate displays would do the trick, but apparently not. For as beat up as the laptop is on the outside, the hardware performs fine. I also have a 2nd laptop (work laptop, also a Lenovo W541) that I can use if any solution involves downloading something bootable.
Screen Falls Off Page - Resolution Doesn't Match Screen Width
Nov 5, 2015Since upgrading to Windows 10 from 7, I ran into the same issue as [URL] ....
So I tried the catalyst scaling option for my desktop and this seemed to fix the issue for mostly everything, desktop and most games, However, the problem still seems to arise with some games I try to play, such as Xcom Enemy Within or Dawn of War 2. Changing resolution in these games doesn't appear to have any effect, the image is still falling off the screen, I use my desktop on a 32 inch TV as opposed to a monitor via HDMI, and keep it set to 1600x900 as opposed to its native 1920x10180, but even leaving it at 1920 has the same effect.
I have my specs on a dxdiag file, dunno where to upload it here, but I'm using a AMD Radeon R9 200 Series on an Asus I built.
Stuck In Loop Flashing Between Lock Screen And Gray Loading Screen
Aug 24, 2015I upgraded to Win 10 on Friday, and since, despite several resetting PC attempts, Win 10 will not load to the login screen. Instead, it is stuck on a loop flashing between the lock screen and a gray loading screen quickly back to the lock screen -- instead of loading to the login screen. This only happens when I attempt to restart or update my PC. If I go to the lock screen because I locked my PC or it fell asleep, I can unlock it. I have also attempted to reset my PC to the previous build, to no avail. I have no restore points.

Jan 5, 2016I reinstalled windows the day before yesterday and since then every time I turn my laptop on after entering my password the screen turns off for like 2 seconds then turns back on. This have never happened to me before. I tried putting my old windows back via Macrium Reflect and I even tried reinstalling it again but neither of those things worked. Dec 19, 2015Since the latest update (It introduced the slide show of pictures on the lock screen. I think it is KB3124200) I haven't been able to press Enter or Space or any other key for that matter to "slide up" the lock screen photo to get to the password screen. I've looked through the lock screen settings, but I see nothing that could prevent this.
