The HP Solutions Center stopped working after Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3132372) was installed Apparently this update controls how flash player is used. HP Solutions Center uses flash player and will not start. I use the HP program frequently to scan documents and photos. Is there a work around for this, or do I have to uninstall this update?

View 7 RepliesEver since I've upgraded to Windows 10 there is an error message after startup that says: "Access violation at address 0046D0AD in module 'Wlakn Mgr.exe'. Read of address 00000002." I think it has to do with my internet connection-My pc (yes, pc, not laptop) came with an extra strong internet receiver becuase I have to do with wifi; no cable available here.
View 1 RepliesI have a Logitech wireless keyboard that uses a USB device. After a update on the 10 of March my keyboard stopped working. I have tried another wireless USB keyboard Mircosoft and a a wired Microsoft keyboard without success.
I have followed a few of the suggested fixes after doing a search without success.
Start > Power > Shutdown did not anymore shutdown the PC... I had to do reset and restart Window 10 again. What can be done ? Command mode shutdown ?
View 7 RepliesI checked on the stability report last night, and I found out that the "Get Office" app has been having issues every single day.
The computer does not crash, and there was no error message. Without examining the stability report, one would never know there's anything wrong.
I uninstalled the app, and everything seems to be fine now. I sign onto Windows locally, without using my Outlook account.
I Tried to connect to my 2 other PCs this morning. I just get a screen where it says it's 'Initialising Display parameters' but will not get past this screen.
Was working perfectly yesterday! I can take control of these same computers if I try it from my Linux Ubunto PC. So that rules out the network and all of the other PCs which are still on win7
my most used App the Windows Weather app has stopped working, I click on it to open and it open and then closes again right away. Is there anyway I can fix this? Is it a common Win 10 app system fault with the app or is my PC specific that has the problem?

Even after i use the office disc to to a install repair; it works for a short time; then the problem starts all over again. It says microsoft outlook has stopped working. This is with office 2010 by the way.

I restarted my computer and since then, the start menu, notifications and all apps like the xbox app and store app no longer work. I did Recovery hoping it would fix everything but didn't. View 2 RepliesEvery time I switch on my PC, after about 5 minutes, I get this annoying notification (see picture) from my OS asking me to turn on the security center service; please, note that, on my PC, I am judge, jury and executioner, meaning I decide what stays on and off, at least I've always been so although now, with Windows 10, this has become somehow more difficult. So, yes, I have turned off the security center service because I don't need it and I don't want it! Furthermore.
Now. I've tried disabling every possible notification I could find under the notification menu and the security center one; I've Googled for a solution but I haven't found anything: apparently, everybody loves this service.
While I'm here, is it possible to obtain system privileges in Windows 10? I've tried the old trick with the cmd task but it doesn't work anymore: the cmd windows does open and with "system" as well but it's not interactive apparently.
How can I disable ,,turn on windows security center service'' warning? It shows up every time the system boots...

What the heck is going on and how do I fix it? I've got apps that don't appear on my desktop which I am completely unable to use now.
For what it's worth, I can right-click the Start button since my latest reboot but I can't left-click it. (On the previous reboot, I couldn't right- or left-click it.)

My Maps app that came with Windows 10 no longer works in Aerial view. It's just blackness with my location dot in the middle. The blackness remains, even when I pan and zoom, but the road/normal layer works fine. I have the most current & up to date OS, Win 10 Home, 10586.36 & new Dell laptop.

I tried updating my intel HD grphics driver 4600 because it kept showing "driver has stopped responding and has recovered" from time to time so I thought this was causing the issue of the BSOD, but apparently not -.-
View 9 Repliesi am using Windows 10 Pro since release as an upgrade from Windows 7 Prof., and most things including the new action center worked fine. But since three days now the action center is totally empty, shows only the "no new notifications"-message. All of my settings are still correct, my accounts in Mail App e.g. are still active (and showing my new mails if i open it), the action center settings to show banner+sound for Apps and programs are all ON, and every single piece of software i am using is working as intended, except the action center
I don't really know what's suddenly wrong? I did not install any new software or made a driver update. The only thing last days was an automatic update for Windows Defender, but i don't think that's causing the issue.
how i can get the action center back to work? Perhaps soem Windows services aren't running but i don't know which one could be responsible for the noticifations. I checked the installation with "sfc /scannow", no error. Would be nice to get the action center back, it's very annyoing if i need to have every program always open.
I don't remember this line being there. After the PC restarted I now have it every time I open the Action Center.
View 7 Replieshave a problem with usb drivers according to my control panel which says it is fixing the issue and then tells me to reboot but it is not fixed. Keyboard lights up on start but when the first blue window appears it goes off. I can get into the bios ok and the keyboard works there. only one port is working (USB3). as my mouse and keyboard are usb and there is no PS2 port i am kinda cactus at the moment. Been searching for usb drivers for win 10 but not having any luck. Everything was working fine since November until yesterday.

Right now it will turn white like a new notification is available, but when I click on it nothing happens. Also..when I press the Ctrl + A keys, nothing happens. This is occurring on my ASUS T100TA touchscreen transformer book. I've even added the regsistry edit that Brink has posted in the tutorial section.
View 8 RepliesI have a problem for a long time with my 5.1 Logitech surround system. My center speaker is not working (physically yes). I have ASUS Maximus Hero VII motherboard. Plugged jack layout: orange: subwoofer/center channel, black: rear speakers, lime: front speakers. E.g.: while I'm watching a film, I can hear every effect clear, but I can't the dialogs, which is the center speaker's task i think. I'm using VLC the config is correct in the program.
