So I am in Windows 10 and whenever I try to install .NET Framework 3.5 I get the same error: 0x800736B3 I don't know how to solve it. I've looked in multiple places but couldn't find an answer that solves my situation What I have tried: Going into the control panel->Programs->Turn Windows features on or off, and checking .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)Using an installer from the website
I was downloading an app that i know is safe but the last time i downloaded it was with Win 7 , this time with Win 10 i get the below message , should i have this installed and if i do i am kind of wondering why the Win 10 ISO missed it .
So i'm getting error 0x80073701 when i'm trying to install .net framework 3.5 throught install. When i'm trying to install offline(throught windows disk), i'm getting same error text as installing normally. Here it is :
The referenced assembly could not be found. Offline installer error : 14081
I am unable to install the .NET Framework 3.5 on my Windows 10 box. I tried enabling it through Programs and Features, I tried enabling and installing through DISM, I tried SFC /scannow. Everything is failing. Mostly I get error code 0x800736B3 saying that "The referenced assembly is not installed on your system". Sometimes I get Error 14003. I obviously need .NET due to many apps needing it to run. This is a brand new system. What can I try?
I tried everything that can be found on the internet, i tried to download from microsoft website, no luck, tried the offline install with the win 10 installer, nothing worked.
I just do clean install windows 10 and unable to install net framework 3.5 it give an error 0x800736B3 "The referenced assembly is not installed on your system" , I did try to enable group policy setting that I read from microsoft but didn't work.
I have a laptop ASUS Zenbook UX303LN. I made a clean install to Windows 10 and now it doesn't shut down properly.
When I shut it down, the screen goes black, but the power light remains on and I have to shut it down manually. Also, I sometimes cannot restart it when it goes to sleep and I also have to shut it down manually. This doesn't happen everytime, but most of the time. I previously had Windows 8.1 and did not have this problem. Actually, I'm considering changing back.
The OS and drivers are all up to date.
I have research this issue and the most common fixes are: Uncheck the "Turn on fast startup (recommended)"Use a shortcut for "shutdown /s /t 5"
I've tried both and the problem remains.
These are the videos / articles I've found on the subject: How to fix windows 10 shut down problem (Youtube video) How to create a Windows 10 shutdown.exe (shut down fix) (Youtube video) How to fix Windows 10 sleep problem (dead sleep) (Youtube video) Fix: Laptop Won't Shutdown in Windows 10 Windows 10 doesn't shut down properly
Every time I go to "This PC" section in my file explorer it never loads and is very slow. If I try to launch it from the Start I get what's shown in the pic. I can still navigate to other places on my drive and access the files as such but I cant use this section.
Whenever I on my computer after I wake up or come back from work, my windows sometimes do not boot up fully. it will load and then gets stuck on an empty orange screen (might be related to the fact that I have orange set as my colour theme for my windows 10). I will then hold on to the power button on my computer to force a shutdown. Right after that, I will power on again and the computer starts up fine.
This has been occurring for a while - I didn't have this issue when I first installed (upgraded from windows 8) windows 10.
I tried googling my issue, and I have turned off Fast Start-up under power options but it did not solve the problem.
I just switched to the new mail app mostly because i want calendar, contacts and email shared across multiple computers and devices. Calendar and contacts seems to be shared fine but I have a cableone.net email and a gmail account. My new mail downloads fine but older mail and none of my folders in outside accounts show up. I have played with the sync settings...started at one week and moved out from there but old mail and folders do not download.
I upgraded my samsung laptop to w10 & recently bought a linx w10 tablet. I also have an Android 5.1 smartphone. I set up onedrive on all 3.
The tablet & smartphone function properly. They see the docs i loaded from the laptop, tablet & phone. The pc only sees the files that I uploaded from the pc.
I tried following tutorials about "fetch files", but I don't have the onedrive icon in my pc task bar. I can't find it as an app on my computer, only as a folder in file explorer. therefore I can't get into any of the settings.
I forgot to mention : onenote functions without issues on all 3 machines & works on the same microsoft account.
Is there any way, so that I can stop automatic download of Windows apps from the Store. Since "New apps will save to" button is greyed out and I don't want space to filled with apps or can it be turned to manual check.
I am using Windows 10 Professional edition. Following some random Windows Update a few months ago, my default Windows 10 weather app (the one that can be pinned to the start menu) displays the temperature properly and updates regularly, however, if I click to open it, it opens blank....basically, the window is just the blue background with the little icon of the sun in the center.
This app used to work 100% before.Lastly, I remember my calendar app not opening at all when Windows 10 was fresh. It would immediately close upon opening the calendar app. However, following some random Windows Update, the calendar app started working properly.
I "upgraded" to Windows 10 from 8.1, but I did a FULL install and chose to "save nothing" from 8.1, so it is about as legit as it can get to being a full installation and not an upgrade.
PS, it doesn't seem to matter if I enable to disable background data for the Weather app in privacy settings. I have tried it out both ways, and either way, on or off, the live tile for the weather app still updates, but opens blank and won't show me the large view when I click on it.
I don't use any other apps, I have not downloaded any other apps from the app store, and I have deleted some of the apps that came with Windows 10. I prefer to use my web browser for most things.
i'm having an issue with downloading apps from win 10 store. That is bassicaly what i get every single time. They did provide me with steps to follow, first two didn't find/fix any issues, third one i couldn't execute due to an error which i don't understand and therefore cannot fix on my own.
Random apps are not showing up in the "All Apps" section of the Start Menu after installing a clean version of Windows 10 (not an upgrade), and re-installing all my favorite software, In other words, finding a launcher to countless programs now means visiting "C:/Program Files/WhateverRandomSoftware/launcher.exe." Well, that;'s no fun.
Any apps I try and update attempt to install, but stay at 0.0mb downloaded, then it stops and produces this error: The happens with every app.
I read on some other forums on why this may be happening and someone suggested that it was because I had changed the permissions to the WindowsApps (C:Program FilesWindowsApps) folder so that I could view the files within it. Yes, I did try and change the permissions so I could edit the files within (I couldn't), just for fun and to see if it'd make any differences, so that is what I assume the problem is.
After learning this I tried to reset the permissions, how to, so I tried to replicate the permissions from a clean unaltered WindowsApps folder and it didn't work, no matter what I did. Windows Update doesn't even seem to fix it either.
So is there any way other than reinstalling windows to get the App Store working again?
Since I've upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10, I can't turn off my PC without getting an exception in .NET Framework, and then a message that it is preventing shutdown. Google shows that this problem isn't exactly new and already happened to some people with Win8, but for some reason I've not been able to find a working solution yet. Any way to fix this other than doing a clean reinstall (which I really don't want)?
I've already tried some ".NET repair tool" from Microsoft, downloaded various offline installers of .NET and tried forcing them to re-install via command line. No luck - they just keep telling me that .NET is already installed, already a part of the OS, or sometimes even "installed but not activated", which is just plain wrong according to the feature selection dialog...
Every time I start my computer, an error dialogue appears. It seems to be connected to a Killer Network program. The dialogue specifically mentions that it can't find "application.ico". I'll upload the error details once it occurs again.
Here's the dialogue information. === Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quite, the application will close immediately Could not find file 'C:WINDOWSsystem32Application.ico' ===
