View 1 RepliesI just built my new pc with windows 10 64 bit and I installed google chrome 64 bit. When I go to control panel and system and security, at the bottom it shows adobe flash 32 bit, not 64 bit.
View 1 RepliesWhy does edge say adobe flash player is disabled when it says it is installed . Used the troubleshooting guide to no avail.
View 1 RepliesIs there a shortcut or other way to speed through the list of all apps, say, go directly to W? Or a method to Find an app?
View 2 RepliesI have a user that is testing out windows 10 and Acrobat DC keeps crashing when saving a.pdf. Tried different .pdf's same result. I have UN-installed dc and re-installed it and still same problem. I don't think this is a problem with Windows 10 as I have had this issue before in windows 7 as well. The only resolution so far is to put Acrobat 11 pro back on. Unfortunately our Manager want us to move toward DC.
View 5 RepliesMost programs on my Adobe CS3 work just fine in Windows 10, but I'm having problems with Illustrator. The program will run, but I get an error message every time I try to open a file or start a new document. My error message says "The program has stopped working" and it forces me to close the program.
I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire Creative Suite, and filing a compatibility report, but nothing has worked so far. My mom is using the same user certificate on her Windows 10 machine and it works perfectly, but I haven't had any luck with my computer. What I can do?
Working in AI 10.3 on a Mac, opened a file to update, Save, closed and later tried re-opening the file and got the following message: Can't open the illustration. The illustration contains an incomplete or garbled object description.
offending operator: ','
Context:
/Basic Filter:
(Abode ArtOnPath Brush Tool) 1 0 /Filter ,
(Art Brush Tool) / PluginFileName ,
(Art Brush) /Title ,
The same file will get the same message in AI CS on this or any other Mac in the office. Clicking the ok button will open the file but the is nothing shown in the window besides the basic AI screen.
(We are using AI 10 due to compatiblity issue between us and our vendors.) Is there away to repair this file or get the data out of it? This is a project that is still in progress.
My Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro. I wanted to ask if there is Driver or something better and that works for the sound card Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro.
Here are the Driver for the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 upgraded to Windows 10, but my Sound Card is the Audigy 4 Pro.: SBA4 SII PCDRV L02 3 01 0044.exe
But for the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro, yet they are with older versions of drivers for Windows 7 and Windows Vista: SBAX PCDRV LB 2 18 0017.exe
Try to install the drivers for the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 "SBA4_SII_PCDRV_L02_3_01_0044.exe" but throws an error message that prevents hardware installation.
The Driver of the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro. Not work well in Windows 10, new clean installation.
What I have to do? I do not want to miss this fantastic audio card!
What are the driver operating in this card "Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro." For Windows10?
I open a lot of manuals and Edge is so basic. It shows nothing from introduction to index just the manual.
I used to be able to go to the index and find the specific part of the manual I need. Has Microsoft blocked this.
I have had Windows 10 installed for about 4 months now and things have been going decent. A couple of days ago my system received a Windows 10 update that took about 2 hours and looked like it was installing Windows all over again (but it wasn't) and once this happened I couldn't find the Microsoft Edge application and the start button would not work at all. After doing a system restore to a date prior to the update things are back to "normal" except for this one problem.Currently my start menu does not show any Recently Used or Favorite Apps in it as shown below. If I select the All apps button it also shows nothing:
I made sure that all of the settings in order to see recently used apps and all my apps are correct as below are my settings:I have tried a couple of solutions that handled Cortana not searching for programs or "some" apps were missing from all apps but I have yet to find a solution to when absolutely no apps are showing in the start menu. I know the applications still exist on my machine as I use Firefox and Microsoft Word and Outlook plus many more apps but they aren't showing up at all. I am also under a local account instead of my Microsoft account and both have this problem.
Random apps are not showing up in the "All Apps" section of the Start Menu after installing a clean version of Windows 10 (not an upgrade), and re-installing all my favorite software, In other words, finding a launcher to countless programs now means visiting "C:/Program Files/WhateverRandomSoftware/launcher.exe." Well, that;'s no fun.
View 4 RepliesI just did an upgrade from Win 7 Home Premium to Win 10 Home. After few minutes when the system is idle, I get the PROJECT SCREEN options Panel open up by itself. To close it I have to click on the desktop for it to disappear.
View 1 RepliesTrying to uninstall some apps. Some are missing from Control Panel uninstall list of apps
View 9 RepliesI'm wondering if there is a way I can add Control Panel to my start menu in the same area where Settings is currently located.
View 4 RepliesI do not need Microsoft Office that came with Win 10 is it safe to uninstall it from Programme and Features in Control Panel?
View 6 RepliesSo, anytime I open the control panel i'm getting the error seen in the attached image. After getting this error the contol panel closes and all the desktop apps disappear for a few seconds as if the system has just been restarted.
View 1 Replieswhen I reset my PC due to a pop up war from IE running in the background, My PC seems to be running better but I am missing preinstalled apps. Facebook, twitter is not there and when I went to windows store the message is ..

I seem to have two instances of Java installed on my Win10 Pro 64-bit Laptop .. see screenshot below. Can I safely uninstall one of them?
If "yes" then which one? I have no clue how I ended up with 2 x Java installs on my laptop. I'm assuming I should keep the 64-bit install, and delete the other? I use Chrome as my usual browser, but very occasionally use Edge
In which directory are installed the apps of store in w 10 ?
View 3 RepliesMy HP Desktop computer came with windows 8.1 and several additional programs.
I have installed windows 10 and the programs and apps were still there.
Since I have done a refresh I have lost the HP installed programs and the apps.
On the desk top the program and app icons are monochrome.
I noticed the installation dates of about 12 programs and drivers have been changed to 24/12/15 in Control Panel / Programs & Features (see screen shot). I haven't made any changes and Reliability Monitor does not show any automatic updates. The programs still work.
View 3 RepliesI switched my microsoft account to a local account and now my laptop cannot start applications I have installed, such as Chrome and WoW. I tried switching back to a microsoft account and this did not resolve the problem.
I can see the installed programs in Programs & Features, but they cannot be uninstalled.
The shortcuts that were created for these programs say they cannot find the file location.
While I could just go ahead and reinstalled, this will be a problem for ones like Wow, and its a brand new laptop which I intended to keep as organized as I could :P not a great start.
I have found a few threads on here and other sites to try and fix it, but no such luck. I am not hitting that old 512 app limit, as I only have 242 installed:
PS C:WINDOWSsystem32> Get-StartApps | measure
Count : 242
Average :
Sum :
Maximum :
Minimum :
Property :
I also have tried rebuilding index, and removed everything and set to default. This does still include my start menu icons, which have apps. Any time I search though, NO app is found.
Cortana wasn't installed on update, I tried to download it, message says I'm not in a valid region for Cortana yet I am?
