When I attempt to install Photoshop 6 I can go no further than clicking on Photoshop 6 at the install button. I receive no messages etc. My CD drive is OK as I have loaded heaps of other progs.

View 9 RepliesI am unable to install the .NET Framework 3.5 on my Windows 10 box. I tried enabling it through Programs and Features, I tried enabling and installing through DISM, I tried SFC /scannow. Everything is failing. Mostly I get error code 0x800736B3 saying that "The referenced assembly is not installed on your system". Sometimes I get Error 14003. I obviously need .NET due to many apps needing it to run. This is a brand new system. What can I try?

I've tried drivers from motherboard manufacturer CD, website and intel and some autodetect driver software. I always get the same behavior:
The screen start blinking several time ( black screen) before showing the BSOD then reboot and repeat it self. Even the driver downloaded by windows update have the same impact.
I've managed to install it in safe mode but when i restart in normal mode i get the same behavior.
I've tried 2 different monitors, VGA and HDMI , tried with UEFI on/off => same result.
I've tweaked once the tdr delay to 8 second, but didn't work.

I'm working through some issues but the one that is really annoying me is the inability to add any accounts to the Mail and Calendar apps. I have tried adding my Microsoft account as well as Exchange and other types of accounts. No matter what I do, I get the "Something went wrong" error message.
View 2 Repliesive updated and checked up on all of my drivers and in the scan they seem to be fine and completely up to date, and for a day after I didn't have any more problems but the problem recently started up again, and I haven't been able to open up any of my adobe apps and most of my applications without encountering the BSOD. I'm not sure but I believe I'm also having problems with photoshop being unresponsive but I'm unsure if that's possibly related? since it started up after the BSOD problems showed up
View 1 RepliesI have made repeated attempts to download and install Google Chrome onto windows 10. I have tried multiple actions according to web sites. It downloads but when I try to access, I get an error message that says the web page cannot be found. I have been told that Firefox will not allow install due to incompatibility issue. I tried contacting Microsoft but cannot get through due to HIGH level of phone traffic. I am not able to get to answer desk for unknown reason. Is there anyway I can get past this incompatibility issue that according to Microsoft; "They are working on it". I want to make Google Chrome Default Browser.

Got a sabertooth z77 with two ssd on raid 0 (intel) another hard drive for backups (Regular sata) and another storage card (pciexpress sas highpoint 2720, with raid 5)
Windows 10 doesnt seem to like this.
Even booting the dvd itself its a drag and hr wont recognize the raid 0 not even with drivers (driver load will cause a watchdog blue screen)
Windows 7 and 8 dont mind. At all.
I feel like the csm thingy might have something to do.
Bios is latest. Sas raid is for storage only. Ill search for the manual of the board as the printed one doesnt have the options i got on the screen
My Windows 10 is having major problems. So many that I would rather just remove the entire thing. I found a website that said you can revert to your previous OS in settings, but my problem is I cannot even get there. The entire task bar and start menu are not working, although I can see them. I saw in another post that Windows Logo Key + I opens up settings, but my Windows Logo Key doesn't do anything.
I also cannot click on the notification icon to open up the settings. The few things I can do: double click on desktop icons to open them, right-click on desktop, and Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Task Manager freezes when I open it (Ctrl + Shift + Esc). How can I remove Windows 10 given these constraints? Also, the time on the taskbar is also not changing from when I turned the computer on.
After several restarts the windows button started working, so I took the opportunity to remove Windows 10.
New to 10 and unable to install Samsung printer ML1210. printer remains offline but shows samsung universal printer driver installed. I understand this is a recognised problem

I bought Lenovo Y5070 laptop recently with these specs: Intel Corei7 4720, 16 gig Ram, Geforce GTX 960m 4 Gig DDR5, and the second graphic card of intel 4600.
I installed windows 10 on this laptop with the latest drivers but I have a big issue with multitasking, e.g. I can not run photoshop easily when another application is open, it takes time and a lag and small hanging (sometimes) to open the second application (for example media player).
I have been having an issue where I am received an intermittent blue screen of death with the message DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. The issue seems to be occurring when I'm using Adobe Photoshop CC 2015. I have updated my BIOS and graphics card to the most recent version, but this doesn't seem to have remedied the issue.
View 9 RepliesI've been having this issue for about a week where any time I try to upload a file in Chrome or open a file in Photoshop CC, explorer will crash the program. It happens any time I try to navigate to another folder. If I leave the initially loaded folder open everything is fine and I am able to upload/open files from that folder. Explorer itself doesn't seem to be crashing, just the program that is bringing up the window. windows 10, chrome and photoshop are all up to date. Saving is working fine. Dragging and dropping a file when available is working fine. I've tested the ability to navigate folders and upload/open files in Firefox, Google Sketchup, Clip Studio Paint, and paint tool sai, those programs are working.

View 9 RepliesSince the Win10 Upgrade fails on my HP DV6 notebook, I decided to do a clean install.
But now, it won't take the Win7 product key for activation!!
I called MS and they told me that a clean-install will NOT activate using Win7 product keys and that I have to purchase a product key.
I got this same story from two different MS reps.
I thought you COULD activate a clean-install using Win7 key using build 10586.
I have a Dell Inspiron SE 7520 with Intel HD 4000 and HD 7730M. So I tried every possible solution to this and nothing. I uninstalled the drivers (both). Tried to use the latest drivers for both and nothing. Tried every other possible fix (Scandisk, sfc/scannow, etc) and I can't make both drivers work at the same time. Only thing I can do is make Intel 4000 work alone, but not the 7730. If I let 4000 work alone I can use my notebook, otherwise is endless reboot.
Problem happened when I was playing Fallout 4, I received a message of "Driver crashed and recovery", but then I got BSOD with endless reboot. All messages on the blue screen are about drivers. (I get diferrent messages). I reinstalled Windows 10 but it didnt fixed it. I tried Windows 7 and nothing. It seems that there isn't a fix for this, what should I do?
