Oct 10, 2015I have an ACDsee picture viewer that I like to use, but everytime I click on a picture the windows photo viewer shows the picture, how can I stop this and view my picture in ACDsee

Oct 6, 2015Have a little problem viewing files on my NAS drives.I'll got a couple of NAS drives on my home network that I use for backup, storage and coping files between my computers.Ended up with a windows 10 laptop the other day and I wanted to transfer a file from my desktop to my laptop, so I just dropped the file onto my NAS drive and then turned my laptop and went to the NAS drive to get the file only to find I couldn't see any files on the NAS, only three folders "Pictures" " Music" and "Videos"
Been playing around trying to work it out for the last week but no luck, I tried to copy a file from the laptop to it but I can't do that either.Sure it must be some setting but I can't seem to find it, tried searching but I'm missing the keyword, only finding people with problems seeing there NAS drive.I should add that I can see pictures and music files if I open the "Pictures" or "Music" directory but I can't see another other soft of files (.txt .iso .exe ect).
Windows Store Crashes When Viewing App
Aug 7, 2015I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 on my desktop PC and I haven't been able to use the Windows Store ever since. Every time i click on an app in order to download it I get a progress ring for a few seconds and then the store crashes. Settings an Downloads open just fine.
My date and time are correct and I have already tried deleting the AppDataLocalPackagesMicrosoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbweLocalCache folder to no avail. No one on the internet seems to have encountered the exact same problem.
Viewing Pages That Load A Lot Of Ads In Edge?
Sep 9, 2015I notice when viewing pages that have a lot of ads with edge they have trouble [slow] loading. I guess it is edge trying to stop all those adds. Oh where is adblock+ and no script when ya need em.

Apps :: Pictures Crash When Told To Print
Aug 12, 2015When I click file and print i get an error saying internal error can not print. this locks up the picture viewer (any picture viewer) and the only way to close it is to end it in task manger.
I can print from any other application so i know its not my printer driver.
Viewing Progress Windows When Copying Files Or Folders

Nov 4, 2015Each time i watch a video in Chrome the browser start to behave weird, if i am on the same tab as the video playback and i try to type a word to search or url in URL bar and press enter the browser's loading icon never stops spining and i must close that tab and create a new one and the browser becomes really slow .My theory is:
A) Internet Download Manager may cause the problem
B) Google Account Sync may slow down the browser ???
C) The Avast online security add-on/plugin browser may is causing the problem

Dec 22, 2015I'm trying out the chromecast device to hopefully eliminate having to move my laptop across the room and connect it via hdmi every night to watch movies on my tv screen. In windows 7 I could just drag the file into a new chrome page and it would open the file which could then be cast. Now when I drag a movie file into chrome it creates a download window in the bottom of chrome like any other file download, and then if I open it from that it just opens my default video player and plays the movie file. Any way to view local video files in chrome browser like you could in windows 7?

Aug 24, 2015Since upgrading to Windows 10, I have found are no pictures on the Amazon UK web site ( and Amazon.com). only icons with" x "where there normally pictures normally are. This applies equally whether using Chrome, Edge or Firefox. I have explored "settings" but cannot find anything that would preclude images being shown, My netbook using Windows 7 does not have any problems displaying the images.

The pictures are not in windows Photo Gallery but directly on my C drive ie: C:/users/ottilitgirl/Pat's Pictures/Christmas 2014. Aug 17, 2015My upgrade (laptop) went smoothly. However, a friend upgraded her computer and said her pictures are lost. I tried talking her through searching for them, and she said the ones that appear are 0 bytes in size. Of course, she should have backed up her files beforehand, but she's past that point.
If she rolls back to 7, might she get her pix back? If she rolls back to 7, can she reupgrade to 10?
Imported Pictures From Camera?
Aug 28, 2015I downloaded pictures form my digital camera, or at least I was trying to do. Somehow I got form installing my camera driver, recognizing my camera to importing the pictures form my windows 7 migration to Windows 10 and all of my camera pictures. They went to "albums" I lost them for a little while but found them again through notifications in the action center. I closed the display and now I can't find them.
I want to accomplish two things. Find out where my pictures went, then get my pictures moved out of albums, and stored back on the computer where they belong!

Dec 30, 2015For some reason, my picture folder is in "Quick Access" pinned. When I go into the properties of the Photos folder that is pinned in "Quick Access", I look at the locations tab and it says it's in my User Folder. Though it does not appear inside of the User Folder, whereas Documents, Music, Downloads, and Videos folders are. I've unchecked "Hidden Items" and it's still not there. Now, if I type in the directory manually it opens as if it's there. On the left pane in the Windows Explorer where "This PC" is at, I have two Documents. One has the regular icon, the other has a picture icon. When I click on either of them, they take me to the Documents folder.
As you can see below somewhat of my predicament. How to get my pictures folder back to normal in "This PC" and my User Folder.
I have just realized my Documents folder icon inside the User Folder has the "One Drive" icon. I am not sure as to why that is as I've disabled One Drive completely on my computer. Extremely frustrating.
I deleted the "Documents" folder that has the Pictures folder icon and it deleted my actual Documents folder as well.
Not Saving Pictures To Folder
Nov 1, 2015I am having trouble saving pictures to my "Pictures" folder. I right click on the picture sent to me via e-mail, Facebook, etc I click "Save Link As". I rename the picture and try to save it to my "Pictures" Folder. It says that I do not have permission to save to that folder so I have to save it to "Documents". What is going on? Why can I not save it to my "Pictures" Folder? I have saved a lot of pictures to it before. Why do I not have permission? It is my computer. How do I give myself permission to save it to my "Pictures" folder?
