Nov 3, 2015I keep getting random weather from places I've never been to. Corby, Kettering and now Northampton. How do I delete these to leave only my home location?

Jan 6, 2016I am using Windows 10 Professional edition. Following some random Windows Update a few months ago, my default Windows 10 weather app (the one that can be pinned to the start menu) displays the temperature properly and updates regularly, however, if I click to open it, it opens blank....basically, the window is just the blue background with the little icon of the sun in the center.
This app used to work 100% before.Lastly, I remember my calendar app not opening at all when Windows 10 was fresh. It would immediately close upon opening the calendar app. However, following some random Windows Update, the calendar app started working properly.
I "upgraded" to Windows 10 from 8.1, but I did a FULL install and chose to "save nothing" from 8.1, so it is about as legit as it can get to being a full installation and not an upgrade.
PS, it doesn't seem to matter if I enable to disable background data for the Weather app in privacy settings. I have tried it out both ways, and either way, on or off, the live tile for the weather app still updates, but opens blank and won't show me the large view when I click on it.
I don't use any other apps, I have not downloaded any other apps from the app store, and I have deleted some of the apps that came with Windows 10. I prefer to use my web browser for most things.

i already tried uninstall the app, which cause me stuck, because i cant install it anymore i also already tried wsreset, not working i disable few stuff... tried turn back on but nothing working...
turn on back location/position function to on (i disabled it) also in local group policy , i set back to allow microsoft account (i set to block sign-in because i dont want to login)
i read that there is another method that stop windows update service then move/rename softwaredistribution... so windows update make new fresh directory i havent tried it, because it seems there is something wrong with the app itself and if possible i dont want to messing with system files.
Apps :: Random File After Office 2016 Installation?
Sep 26, 2015I installed Office 2016 and a random file appeared directly on the C drive in no folder. The file is called, "WindowsMSUIGHUB.tt2". know what this file is and if it's just some temporary file I'm safe to remove? I don't really want this file here as it looks ugly but I don't want to remove if it it's required for anything.

Sep 14, 2015I'm encountering a number of random scrolling issues within Edge and other Universal/Modern/Store apps. When scrolling a web page, the page gets "stuck" and won't move within the browser window. Edge itself remains responsive - I can reload the page, or close its tab. And other tabs remain unaffected. Also, links on the page itself still work. I can actually interact with the portion of the page that's visible, just not scroll it in any direction. Reloading the page doesn't fix it, but if I close the tab and reopen it, then load the page again, it works (happened just this morning on "Dilbert.com" when viewing one of Scott Adams' blog entries).
I've noticed this behavior in at least one other app: Readiy (an RSS reader app). In the main "All Items" view, the list of articles will often become "stuck," much like a web page in Edge. I've also noticed the behavior occurs more often when using the touchpad in the Type Cover of my Surface.I'm running the Insider Preview build 10532 on a Surface 3 (not Pro) w/4GB RAM.
Weather App Quit Working
Jan 3, 2016Shutdown computer last night, turned it on this morning and the 'app' quite working. Got one of those messages from windows – “A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” Rebooted computer twice – no go.
O.K. then. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. Tried to download Weather Channel app – no go – clicking on download link and nothing happened. O.K. Tried to download Accuweather app – same result – clicking on “link” and nothing happened. Tried different sources, Cnet etc.
Dell computer, windows 10 – no other issues. Computer works fine otherwise. I like to have the “temperature” on my task bar as I go walking everyday and its a nice guide.

Dec 13, 2015I've had win10 about 2 months now and mail app wouldn't work and weather app stopped after the first day, this week Photo app stopped and usb 3 port locked up and some games graphics were slow. I made a recovery drive on a flash drive and reloaded win 10, nearly every thing came good and then I downloaded new drivers from the OEM like Nvidia and the rest of my faults came good. This involved reloading all my pictures and music and software, it took a day but was worth it!
It seems to me that the updates from MS don't take hold until you do a reload. I received updates several times but nothing changed so try a reload of win 10 and get new drivers for what's not working.My win 10 is near perfect, I get mail ok and my games graphics are good , I do TS2016 on an i5 laptop ok.
