"Outlook Setup for iCloud could not be started because of an unexpected error."
How to solve this without knowing what error is causing this?
I have tried reinstalling Office and iCloud (run as administrator) but no luck. Is Windows 10 compatible for iCloud? Apple says no and Microsoft says yes.......
It did worked before, but it slowed down my computer so much that i decided to reinstall the Office package. Everything worked ok after the reinstall and Office programs are running ok. Only I can't get iCloud to sync with Outlook anymore.
I have been trying to install a few Apps from the Store. I installed an App, clicked on it in the menu, and for one second it flashes and the menu disappears. I have checked my account and that's good, checked settings and they look good, but the installed App won't access.
I just purchased this computer from Lenovo (URL...) and have finally had some time to start transitioning my old computer's files over to this new one. As I've started re-installing some software programs such as iObit Uninstaller, I've noticed that several of these apps are showing up SUPER small and are barely legible.
Now, I've tried the ctrl+/- shortcut along with a few other "tricks," but this seems to be an actual problem. I've also uninstalled and re-installed the software just to make sure there wasn't some weird bug, but to not avail.
I had Windows 10 on my previous computer and never experienced such an error. The app iObit Uninstaller, for example, is appearing so small on the screen that I can barely read anything, let alone use the program.
After doing a clean install of windows 10, I am unable to install ms office pro plus. The error is osppsvc make sure you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
I have upgraded my W7 64-bit to W10-64bit some time ago and been testing W10 since then.
I had some random crashes and BSODs which I could not find the reason why as my W7 was running pristine.
Last week I had a crash for Visual Basic C++ Runtime Error and the file that crashed was my Chrome. Looking on Task Manager I then realised that not only my Chrome but all my other software installed are running on 32-bit versions.
I have then manually uninstalled chrome and downloaded the 64-bit version manually and installed and now it shows normal (no more 32-bit in between brackets) and I no longer get the pop up crash.
I wonder why is W10 installing 32-bit software by default if my OS is 64-bit? Will I have to manually uninstall every single software and force a manual installation of 64-bit?
When I open my metro apps on windows 10, app like Groove, mail, store, most apps don't start. Can't use most of my metro-apps again after installing updates.
I've looked at your forums and instructions on clearing the cache, etc...but still have no luck in downloading applications. They go into a queue and are listed as "starting download" but don't go further. I've rebooted and cleared the cache which will clear the queue but when I try again the same thing happens.
tried updating AVG anti virus but update failed: update detect running installation. Complete that installation before starting update not installing or updating anything at the moment.
I am on windows 10 build number 10130(Installed it through an ISO file). I am unable to install any app from either store or store beta. The exact error message is "Something happened and this app couldn't be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x8007000b". I tried reinstalling the OS, Formatting the sd card and replacing the sd card but the problem persists.
The default location for app install is set to sd card and when I change it back to my pc the apps do install. What is error code 0x8007000b. And how do I get the apps to install on my sd card. Note: I don't want to install the apps to my device memory as I have only 10GB left.
I joined the insider program last year and basically upgraded to all builds from the very first public build. Before then, I was using Windows 8.1 PRO on my Asus Vivobook which was legit (pro license through my school's DreamSpark program).
I was on buil 10240 and decided to download the media creator tool for Windows 10 and chose the first option which was Upgrade my PC.
I chose to keep nothing. It installed, I logged in Windows is not activated. I try installing / updating apps from the store and it won't work. Each time, I get an email from Microsoft saying Device limit reached for installing apps & games. I removed 2 devices.
Now I have 2 devices running Windows 10, the Lumia 822 on insider preview, and Windows 10 Laptop and still have the same issue.
so I UPGRADED MY PC TO WINDOWS 10, AND I IMMEDIATELY GET THIS MESSAGE.
It looks like you've reached your device limit for installing apps and games from the Store on your Windows 10 device. If you want to install apps and games from the Store on another Windows 10 device, remove a device from the device list.
I have 1 device using Windows 10, and 1 computer at work running the insider preview, that's it.
So is this a sneaky [adjective removed ]you catch from Microsoft, I cannot have Windows 10 installed on more than 1 device ?
I have an HP Stream 7 that only has 32 GB of space. I put in an SD card and changed the default location in "Storage" to install all new apps to the SD card. Whenever I try to install an app now, I get an error and will not install. When I changed it back to install on C, it downloads and works fine. Is there any work arounds? I saw that someone mentioned they installed the apps to C, and then moved them to the SD card.
I recently upgraded to Win10, and everything worked great. A couple of days ago, my keyboard started to lag. For example when I play games (FPS) and I try to move with W, my movement last much longer than it should. If I hold W in for 2 sec, then it will recieve the signal for twice as long. And I can't interupt my movement.
I tested exactly this outside of a game, and the same problem occured. When I send a signal, it recieves it for about twice as long.I checked my keyboard setting in control panel, and everything looked normal according to my other pc. However, these lags only start happening about 15min after startup.
I keep getting the message when I try to open Windows live mail "Windows Live Mail could not be started. It may not be installed correctly. Make sure that your disk is not full or you are not out of memory (0x80041161). I know it is installed correctly as it has worked perfectly until now. Where do I go to make sure that my disk is not full, or out of memory.
When I'm using my pc, windows 10 keeps displaying the same annoying notifications for tips. Uninstalling the get started app does not remove the notifications and I can't find a setting in the app.
I don't know if this is only me or not, but my Voice Recorder app cannot be started. Here I included all the screenshots of the weird behavior of this Voice Recorder app in Store page.
At first, when I search Voice Recorder and open the store page, it will show downloading, then after that an update button appear, after I click that update button it will show small download icon at the top left side of my account profile picture. After a short while it'll disappear and still Voice Recorder app cannot be opened. This weird behavior keep repeating every time I open the Voice Recorder store page.
the computer was installed with Windows 7 and was upgraded to Windows 10.About 3 months ago, the computer ran fine, and even the startup time was <10sec.2 weeks ago, I got a virus and quickly deleted it with Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner. don't know why, but after that event, the computer quickly slowed down and right now, the startup time is 45 sec.
So recently my PC just started randomly crashing with different errors. Some are bug checks, some are driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. I ran virus scans, malwarebytes, ccleaner, reseated my memory, CPU [and checked thermal paste], dusted it out, ran memtest etc. Everything keeps coming back kosher.
Some of the problem details:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xffffd00021f68000, 0x0000000000000002, 0xfffff9605d6a5e8f, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:WINDOWSMEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 93f481ce-6a52-4105-994f-edda7c14e64d.
Today when I started up my computer I couldn't load my operating system (Win 10 Pro 64bit). It said my pc was missing a file, or that the file had been damaged. I've bought a new Sata cable for my ssd since I first thought that it was that that was wrong, but nothing happened. I don't have my dvd disk for my windows.
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Nvidia GTX 570 ASUS P8Z77-V Intel i7-3770k 3.50 GHz
Starting Monday (I think) I started getting artifacts all over my screen then my computer would crash and restart (sometimes the artifacts would persist during the boot screens, which would force multiple restarts before I could even log into Windows). I was not in any situation with heavy loads on either the CPU or GPU. This happened multiple times. Eventually, it started giving me a BSOD and one of these three codes: "DCP WATCHDOG VIOLATION", "TRD VIDEO FAILURE", or "DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". Of all the dumps I got, the consensus from WhoCrashed is that it's the Nvidia kernel driver nvlddmkm.sys (in some cases it was dxgmms2.sys). My drivers were up to date at that point.
Two days ago I was told by the Nvidia chat "support" to use Revouninstaller and roll back my drivers to those from December, which I did. It took a lot longer, and it didn't actually crash, but I got artifacts again, the screen froze then flickered and came back, and then an error message came up saying that my Nvidia kernel driver had stopped working and recovered. At that point, I turned off for the night and went to bed. Yesterday I was able to use my computer for several hours without any problems, but just as I was about to turn in, it artifacted and crashed with a BSOD and one of those three codes above (can't remember which).
I ran a full scan using Windows Defender. It got about halfway done, then stopped. I couldn't start it again (gave error 0x8007139f). After a restart it would scan, but I'm convinced it didn't finish again (I was working on my laptop while it was scanning so I wasn't paying complete attention, but what took 30 minutes to get halfway before, "finished" in less than 10 minutes). I'm not convinced it's an infection yet, but I guess it's another things to check for if it turns out WinDef isn't cutting it.
