View 1 Replieshave a problem with usb drivers according to my control panel which says it is fixing the issue and then tells me to reboot but it is not fixed. Keyboard lights up on start but when the first blue window appears it goes off. I can get into the bios ok and the keyboard works there. only one port is working (USB3). as my mouse and keyboard are usb and there is no PS2 port i am kinda cactus at the moment. Been searching for usb drivers for win 10 but not having any luck. Everything was working fine since November until yesterday.
View 2 RepliesLast night I have updated my laptop (Alienware mx17r3) to Win 10 Tech build 10041, updated all my drivers now my display port is not working, When booting I can see it showing BIOS and post screen but once I am in windows just goes dead with a msg no display port detected. Running my laptop screen, dell ultrasharp-u2913wm (Display port) and dell S2340L (VGA) port. On VGA both screen works fine no problem but as soon as I try running on display port dead as a doornail. I checked device manager its not even detecting the 3rd screen. Have updated latest drives from intel and ran windows update but to no avail.

View 5 RepliesWhen I am viewing webpages with video's playing I am getting the odd BSD with the Video scheduler internal error, it happens roughly every other day but yesterday it happened twice.
My video card is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI OC, my motherboard and CPU are now 7 years old and well over due renewing which I plan to do next year, my video driver is up to date as are other drivers except some of the motherboard drivers which are no longer available.
I have attached my dump files as per the sticky ....
I experienced a BSOD in win 10 64bit Home, my mouse started to lag then completely lagged and after a few seconds a BSOD with mention to search for Video Scheduler Internal Error. My pc is fully up to date. My gpu is MSI GTX 760 2GB. Is there something wrong with my gpu?

View 1 RepliesJust unboxed my computer from CyberpowerPC, GTX 720 graphics card, installed/updated all drivers with drivereasy (paid for just now) and I am still having the issue with HDMI port not working. I have tried to plug into a monitor and a TV, neither are working, I have also tried to use multiple HDMI cables, still does not work. My monitor has an auto-switch source availability and turned on, when I plug my computer into the monitor with HDMI it continually cycles, finds no signal and goes into sleep mode. Then rinse/repeats until I either turn off the computer, monitor or just unplug the monitor from the computer. Currently I am using a DVI(computer) to HDMI (tv) and its working fine. So I know its the port on the computer. Do I need to contact CyberpowerPC to send the computer back to get this issue resolved?
View 7 RepliesI m using dell inspiron 14, and upgraded to windows 10. Now my laptop keeps restarting giving me internal power error. I reached the troubleshooting part where I clicked on startup settings.when I click restart there..it restarts with blue screen without giving me safe mode option.
View 2 RepliesLaptop display was turned off i.e. on screen saver, turned it on, after a few minutes screen went black, limited mouse movement and then BSOD. Please see attached minidump information.

I have a custom built PC with Windows 10 Home x64-bit and I constantly get crashes. Sometimes I can be on for 5 minutes then it crashes, sometimes an hour. Sometimes there will be a completely white screen, a colorful screen with many-mini squares, and sometimes BSOD video_scheduler_internal_error. I have tried many, many things and nothing works.

ever since I got windows 10 my maxx audio doesn't work and now just says "MaxxAudio processes internal speakers output only"
View 1 RepliesMy upgrade to 10 has gone pretty well so far. The only problem is that Audacity audio editor (2.0.6) won't work
("Internal PortAudio error"/"program not supported.")
I want to uninstall it, but it's not recognized by Windows 10 "Uninstall Programs."
What's the best way to do this without messing up the registry?
after upgrading from Win 8.1, sound was fine thru laptop speakers/headphones except (so far) for Ashampoo programs and the latest Audacity, which reported they could find no sound card.Programs like VLC, Winamp, Zoom player, convertors from Aiseesoft, Imtoo, Aimersoft etc etc etc were fine.
This is an HPG60 214 EM laptop, using a Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 driver vn 4.0.44.0, dated 2008.An attempt to update shows this is the latest, as do (er hum) a couple of driver update programs.Ashampoo says I need to contact HP, but HP only supported this laptop to Win 7 (it came with Vista).why a few progs don't work and most do would be welcome. I assume this is some sort of low level interface issue which has become apparent in upgrading to Win 10. So far other posts I've found have been about no sound at all after upgrading.
I recently updated to windows 10 and the previous day using 7, shadowplay worked flawlessly. I've noticed nvidia capture server does not show up in the volume mixer anymore. I've updated everything and reinstalled drivers. Video still records just fine but upon playback there is no mic or game audio with/without desktop capture enabled. I'm using gtx660, and an AMD fx 8350
View 1 RepliesI upgraded last night from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro.I am connecting from work with RDP to my home PC. RDP is Working, but there is no Audio. This is an existing connection that worked yesterday when both PC had Windows 7 on them.I have checked group policy on the server and it allows audio redirection. On client it is setup to bring audio to remote pc as it has always been. Client is with updated rdp client to allow protocol 8.1 with remotefx.I don't have another pc with Windows 10 to check if this is some incompatibility between Windows 7 as a client and Windows 10 as host. I did install the official Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Android on my phone and tried with it, but the result is the same.
View 1 RepliesI have just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my laptop and everything works fine except for videos. When I try to watch a video on Windows Media Player, I get a black screen but the audio of the video works fine. I have been using the VLC player without problems. YouTube videos for Microsoft Edge didn't work until I switched to use software rendering instead of GPU rendering. If I try to use the Film & TV for my videos, I get an error 0xc00d11cd (0x80004005) and to visit Xbox support. In the Xbox App, when I try to watch a friends video, it says the video could not be decoded. When I try to stream my Xbox, I get a black screen but the audio of my Xbox works with what I am doing on my Xbox controller. So the streaming works, but no video. i have tried everything.

after installation of windows 10, my laptops audio jack is not working. No sound is coming in headphones.
View 1 RepliesSince installing Windows 10, I have tried to open two programmes that I had previously used successfully and received error messages about the audio engine.
The first was Audacity (Wave recorder and editor) and I got two messages on trying to open it - "Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate." The other message was "Could not find any audio device. You will not be able to play or record audio. Error: Internal Port/Audio error."
The second program I tried to open gave me the following message "No audio devices. Audio Engine Error: Bas settings."
The curious thing is that I can play things through iTunes for instance quite satisfactorily (admittedly through and external amplifier, but that must mean that there's an audio output).
Is it possible that Windows 10 has removed the audio devices or altered the audio engine settings (whatever that means!)? If so, how do I regain the status quo as far as audio is concerned?
I currently have an Asus Vivopc desktop that I use as an htpc and it is connected directly to my LG LB5800 tv. The PC has onboard speakers which sound terrible and when I connect the tv via HDMI, the video works fine but no sound comes from the tv.
I still get sound from the PC but no matter what I can see, there is no option whatsoever to have the TV as a playback device. It isn't listed at all. I've reinstalled the intel and realtek drivers but that didn't work. I've opened up the playback devices, shown disabled devices and it didn't show up either.
With Windows 8 it worked flawlessly. With Windows 8.1 it would only work when I rebooted the computer with the TV on, otherwise the device would disappear as soon as it was turned off. With Windows 10, it just isn't there at all.
I just upgraded my ASUS Laptop from Win 8.1 to Win 10 X64. (It has Via HD Audio)
Initially, sound worked but the microphone didn't. I fussed with many settings but nothing seemed to work.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, then the mic seems to work but sound doesn't.
Some of the events that I have encountered are: One message said "Windows has detected that Audio enhancements for the following device are causing problems". I disabled all enhancements but nothing changedBased on other posts, I tried to change the default format to 16 bit and other Hz. Nothing worked.I tried to play a test tone in the speaker setup and got the message "Failed to play test tone".I tried to update the drivers but was informed that I had the latest drivers
I went to the VIA web site to look for new drivers but there are none listed for Win 10.
Is there something else that I can do or is it just a matter of waiting for new VIA drivers? (VIA HD Audio is such a common audio chip that I find it hard to imagine that VIA and Microsoft haven't solved the driver problem - particularly given the Insiders Hub process!)
So, after fruitless attempts at fixing the issue using other people threads I've decided to create my own.I'm one of those unlucky to be bugged by sound issues after an upgrade to Win10 from Win7. My Siberia v2 headset microphone doesn't work.
What I've tried:
1) Updating the VIA HD drivers, including the latest pack for Win10 (the one that marks your devices with (Win10)).
2) Lowering (and increasing) the bits and sampling rate
3) Installing the older drivers in compatibility mode. The one for Win7 gave me a blue screen and failed to install, Win 8.1 drivers made no difference, mic still didn't work.
4) Installing the generic Windows high definition audio device drivers. No difference.
The new driver pack from VIA still fails to set the correct device as default, enabling 'Headset' from the front panel which isn't even connected inside. Now, the 'speakers' option enables the audio playback, but microphone is still unresponsive. It behaves strangely, sometimes the volume indicator seems to be picking up noises, but it lasts only for a few moments after which there's nothing. Obviously, I've checked the micro on another PC and it works fine.
Just installed windows 10. Everything is working good but there's problem with the sound. Sound driver is installed too but there's no sound output. I have installed the audio driver like 10 times and tried different versions as well but no result
View 1 RepliesI have run into a weird problem after upgrading from a GTX 770 to an R9 390.For some reason, the audio on my left channel stopped working. I have tried re-installing my realtek drivers, using only the windows native audio drivers, and making sure that the AMD audio drivers have NOT been installed on my PC. All three yielded the same results. Also, my headphones work flawlessly when used on another device so the problem must be within my PC.
I have also checked to make sure that the audio levels were equal on both channels. I am not able to use the front audio ports on my case for testing because they also stopped working. Unfortunately, I am not sure if my front audio ports stopped working due to this same problem or if it had been broken for awhile.
I installed Apowersoft Streaming Audio Recorder 3.4.4 on Win 10 OS, and some weird message came when I'm trying to open it. I remember that last time when I open it like month ago it was opening normally without any problem, and now this. I tried reinstall clean everything with revo uninstaller, I was googing but no luck. What to do, sfc scannow is my last option.
