BSOD :: Crashes During Sleep If SonicWall Global VPN Is Connected
Sep 18, 2015
I used to run on Windows 8.1 Pro, and had various trouble with SonicWall Global.
Once I installed Windows 10, the VPN stopped working, and I eventually got it working again by installing the network adapter manually per this thread (add legacy hardware)
[URL] ....
However, after that, I got the ndis.sys blue screen when I let my computer go to sleep WHILE the VPN is running. This was never an issue before. I don't get a blue screen if the computer sleeps with the VPN off or disconnected.
Before it is suggested, I can't work with out SonicWall unfortunately. It is what my office uses for whatever reason.

I would like to make a global setting on my PC for ALL accounts. I have English (Australia) installed and also United Kingdom.
I would like to set this to my Current User setting but, as can be seen in the pic, it directs Windows to make any NEW user accounts to American display??

I'm having a lot of issues with a system I recently assembled. Apps like Word, Outlook and Firefox are randomly crashing, BSODs from time to time, and the PC sometimes crashes directly after sleep-mode.
I've tried the following:
-clean install
-updating bios
-replacing mobo
-replacing psu
-ran memtest; no errors
-removed nvidia card, just onboard graphics; no difference

Since some weeks I am having problems with the Wifi connection of my laptop. My laptop is an Acer Aspire E-15. I have been working with windows 10 for some months and I didn't have any problems. Since some weeks it can't find any WiFi network, and when I plug-in an ethernet cable everything works fine. Also, I have the newest drivers installed. My network adapter is Qualcomm Atheros AR956X
When I restart my PC or do a system restore, everything seems to work fine, until the same problem occurs again. It happens very randomly, for example I didn't have the problem for more than a week, but yesterday I had it all the time. In addition to that, sometimes when I lose the connection my PC crashes. I don't know if these two issues could be related to each other.

I have bsods and game crashes of steam. I putted a new ram because the previous ram kit died (faulty rams causing bsods)and also I have a new graphic card r9 280 (because the previous gtx480 died too). What can I do? Bumps are not specific. I believed that sound driver causing problems and I disabled sound controller from bios and uninstalled the drivers. Unfortunately bsods don't stop. I have checked for drivers , updates, memtest but nothing. I noted that bsods and crashes happen in the first boot. If I have a bsod or I reboot after a game crash then BSODS and crashes stop to happen.

I've had a look at some of the forums which seemed to have the same problem as me (perhaps for different/same reasons). Since updating the BIOS manually 3 weeks ago, I've been having multiple BSOD and each time the reason appears to be different. However, there are only 4 recorded BSOD in minidumps (I've had a lot more than that... but I don't know where it's gone).

The games I'm getting these problems with are Killing Floor 2, Fallout 4, and GTA V. I'm not doing anything in particular to cause these crashes, they seem to just happen over a certain amount of time, with Killing Floor 2 about 15 minutes of game play.

Just got a new build and keep getting crashes while gaming on certain games. I've monitored temps and haven't been any where near thresholds. I stress tested the PC using Prime95 and other benchmarks. A screen print of the minidump analysis is included.

First off my windows 10 install worked fine for about a month and then all of a sudden I have been experiencing 2 to 3 ramdom crashes and reboots. There is no BSOD, the computer just simply turns off and reboots, even though I have set the advanced settings not to automatically shut down on error. I have also updated to the latest BIOS ....
My system - self build.
Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard
4 sticks of Corsiar dominator RAM running at 2133 (they are specified up to 2666)
default BIOS settings - no overclocking
2*EVGA Geforce 980s in SLI
I have disconnected all usb devices but this is still happening. What is strange that it just started out of the blue. Before i just do a fresh install, any diagnostic approaches?

The last two days I have been experiencing with Windows 10 several blue screens (CRITICAL PROCESS DIED). This happened while using Reason 8 (music production program), while listening to music, while playing dota 2 (several times here) and when turning on the laptop...
Several weeks ago I downloaded Windows 10, before this I had Windows 8 and didn't ever have this problem...

I was previously running Windows 7 with no issues but then upgraded to Windows 8 and later 8.1. With both of these versions I got random BSOD crashes every now and then. I upgraded to Windows 10 but so far I'm run into the same issues.
The BSOD messages are not always the same e.g. the last one i got was MEMORY_MANAGEMENT but other times I've gotten FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE, DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION etc.
I've been strongly suspecting a driver so I upgraded every single driver manually as well as using driver upgrade software but that hasn't worked. The last time I installed Windows 10 I made sure to only load minimal drivers and run it for about a month and in that time I didn't get any crash. As soon as I installed all the drivers for all my peripherals, this started happening again. I may be off here but that's my assumption.
In any case I've attached the log from the crash collector.

I have had no problems what so ever with this computer running Win 7 Pro for a very long time (2+ years) and when I moved to Win 10 Pro I get these BSOD Critical_Process_Died crashes while browsing the internet using Fire Fox. After the BSOD it will reboot and I can use again but then after a while (maybe an hour) it crashes again. I have recently updated to Win 10 and all drivers were at that time updated. I have to admit I wish there was a better way to determine when a new driver is available for your hardware.

I bought this laptop 2 weeks ago, it is a HP Pavillion Notebook. For about a week now, maybe even since when I got it, the laptop sometimes fails to wake up from sleep. The screen stays black, gets slightly lit up to gray, then the computer and goes through all that comes with that instead of waking up.
The event log shows a Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework error.

I've been getting random crashes and I have not been able to find any pattern. The way the crashes work is this. The computer doesn't go straight to a BSOD. The first thing I usually notice is the internet stops working. Webpages seem to make an attempt to refresh but never actually will load. It also becomes impossible to open new windows. Eventually I can't close windows or programs. Then finally it just freezes. I usually restart when I notice webpages stop loading because I know what is going to happen.
These crashes don't seem to happen during anything specifically but they do seem to be happening more frequently so it's becoming more of an annoyance. I've attached the folder from the DM Log Collector as well as some files from the event viewer.

My computers is crashing when I start up Final Fantasy XIV or World of Warcraft. When it first happen I check the temperature of my GTX 780 graphic card and it was overheating at 90 degrees (surprised) so I downclock the GPU putting a cap of how high the temperature can go. This has made the issue go away for about a month but the issue has return with the temperature under control at 70 degrees. When my computer crash it would most of the time just restart but a few time it gave me the BSOD, sometime the BSOD doesn't complete and freezes.
If the computer doesn't crash during about the first 5 minutes of the game, then it would not crash during the rest of the game session but tend to crash about 80% of the time I start up the game. Right now I am avoiding the crashing by playing the game at lowest setting giving my graphic card temperature at 60 degrees. Can the data you ask me to provide can confirm that the culprit is the graphic card hardware issue that is the culprit or another hardware like the power supply (Corsair Gaming Series 800-Watt ATX/EPS Bronze) that is having issue?

ive updated and checked up on all of my drivers and in the scan they seem to be fine and completely up to date, and for a day after I didn't have any more problems but the problem recently started up again, and I haven't been able to open up any of my adobe apps and most of my applications without encountering the BSOD. I'm not sure but I believe I'm also having problems with photoshop being unresponsive but I'm unsure if that's possibly related? since it started up after the BSOD problems showed up

I have been encountering random game crashes and different BSOD messages for the past month at a high rate. This mainly happens when playing 'Smite' but happens frequently with other games and sometimes when browsing on Chrome. DARKYODK-28_10_2015_122301_55.zip

As of lately, my computer will crash randomly while playing mostly graphically intensive games. I can do normal things on my PC all day long and play low end games with pretty much no problem. As soon as I play GTA 5, BF4, or something of that graphic capability the application will crash. Sometimes within a few minutes, but mostly within a 15-30 min period.
Quite frequently, the Runescape Client (queue jokes) window will randomly close too. I kind of feel like this is the same issue going on. However, with this being much less graphically intense, it happens less frequently or takes longer for a crash to occur.
99% of the time I get the same 0xC0000005 error (means the program has attempted to access memory that it shouldn't. ), on rare occasions it will BSOD with a 1A MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error or a 4E PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.
This has become extremely annoying and I don't quite know where to pinpoint the problem, and all of these seem to be memory related issues. Due to the fact that it mostly happens with graphically intense games, I want to point my finger at my video card.
I thought about stress testing my video card to see if it will crash again. I don't really know how to strictly test the memory of a video card, but that was my best guess. Below are the troubleshooting tips I have tried, as well as links to pictures from Event Viewer, Bluescreenview, and debug reports from WinDBG for the 1A and 4E errors are attached.
Troubleshooting steps I have done are:
Tried reverting back to the last "most stable" driver for my GPU (Clean Install)Updated video drivers to the latest version (Clean install)Checked my SSD for errors using software from the vendor (Don't believe this is an issue because two games are on different disks, and the same thing happens)Checked my RAM with memtest86 for 24 hours (Did this twice now)Scanned for malware, no threats foundUsed CCleaner to clean crap off of my computerEnsured Windows was fully up-to-date with the latest critical and optional patches.

Having issues with a 0x3b on Windows 10. I have an Acer Aspire that crashes randomly, maybe once every 24-48 hours.
I think it is the 0x3b causing the issue but I have placed my mini memory dump file online if any experts could have a look at it. Dropbox - 010816-25437-01.dmp
