Using windows update I was installing the MS Drawing Driver and my keyboard flashed (blue lights) and the next thing a BSOD. I have attached the collected files, how to confirm the MS Drawing Driver is responsible.

I was trying to install a driver to see if the performance would increase. It crashed my system. Also, a crash occurred yesterday and the day before yesterday.

I've just bought my first SSD and want to install windows 10 onto it. I used the media creation tool to install the OS onto a bootable USB but when I try to install the software onto my SSD I get an error. It reads:
"A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now."
I have tried hooking up my optical drive and inserting the disks that came with the motherboard and graphics card but it says it can't find any drivers. I'll attach an image below of the problem I'm facing.
I keep getting these two error
i) Driver IRQL NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error
ii) Driver_Power_State_Error
It was fine last night then suddenly today, this error keep appearing. Is there a way to fix it? I've been searching for solution but I still don't know what to do.
I had a series of BSOD's today. It's something with ntoskrnl.sys and ntfs.sys according to the minidumps attached.
It all began after installing Google Photos Backup and refreshing my graphic drivers but I am not sure they have anythig to do with it.
Currently I have windows 10 installed, although the problem was persisting even while I was using windows 7. The problems started when I ran out of space on my SSD and tried to bring files over to my other HDD for storage. In the end I threw my hands up and reformatted my Windows 7. And since my SSD was too small to keep everything on last time I decided to install windows on my HDD.
After updating everything and so on my computer, again, decided to BSOD. So I upgraded to windows 10 and eventually it started doing the same thing. I've looked through my device manager and have not located any out of date drivers.

First BSOD I've had in Windows 10... Outside the usual ntoskrnl.exe BlueScreenView points to NETIO.sys, netr28x.sys and tcpip.sys...
Ran update drive for my wireless card, says it's got the latest drivers already... checking my Ethernet drivers, even though I don't use the Ethernet.
Here are the files and stuff.
Finally got into safe mode through command prompt and was able to delete the driver from my Nvidia graphics card. Booted back up in normal mode and began the download for new driver. Then BSOD during installation.

View 19 RepliesI upgraded to windows 10 a day or so after it was released and now when I go to plug in my laptop to tv via hdmi or when I plug in an old xbox360 wired controller it keeps telling me that it found the updates for the drivers but encountered an error while attempting to install them. It doesn't give me an error code for this. Also when I check the updated center is says it could not install updates and gives me an error: Error 0x8000ffff.
View 10 RepliesI am using Windows 10 in Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet. I installed Fresco Logic Thin2000 USB display driver in Windows 10. After the reboot windows 10 started crashing. I did boot in safe mode but safe mode is preventing me from uninstalling it.
What do I do? this was installed so that I could connect device to projector. In safe mode I am unable to remove it and windows 10 is not booting in normal mode. It showing error system_service_exception(Ddkmd.sys) at boot.
I have an Asus Maximus VI Hero and am trying to download drivers after my clean install of Windows 10. I downloaded the file for my boards audio driver from the asus website but when I ran it the program kept saying it needed to uninstall the previous driver before installing the new one and then restart. It kept restarting and doing that over and over again never actually installing the new driver.

The driver is garbage and it runs three memory resident processes, which seems rather excessive for a touchpad driver. The default Windows touchpad driver works perfectly well, so I want to use that instead of the ASUS driver. However, if I uninstall the ASUS driver Windows Update quickly reinstalls it.
I disabled automatic driver installation when I installed Windows 10, as you can see here:
Despite that Windows update keeps installing the ASUS Smart Gesture driver.

Windows 10 Pro and I am having an issue with my Touchpad driver, it seems to want to mess up and not move to where I need it to go, so I uninstalled it from the Programs and Features menu, but my issue is it keeps popping back up in Windows Update and installing on its own, I don't want the driver for it as it doesn't function correctly with it installed it works great when its not installed so how can I hide it
View 1 RepliesI just put a new RAM, 2GB, on my computer, and when I turned it on, it worked nice for about 3 minutes. Then it suddenly froze compltely with nothing responding. First Firefox, then My Computer window, then everything, all this in about 10s. After another 20s, blue screen showing "critical process died" showed up. I managed to see that out of 4GB that I now had, 3,25 were usable (I thought W10 x32 supports 4GB?). I am uploading a report. I am almost aboslutely certain that this had something to do with the new RAM since before that it worked just fine, and now fine again after I removed the new one.

tried updating AVG anti virus but update failed: update detect running installation. Complete that installation before starting update not installing or updating anything at the moment.
I am on windows 10 build number 10130(Installed it through an ISO file). I am unable to install any app from either store or store beta. The exact error message is "Something happened and this app couldn't be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x8007000b". I tried reinstalling the OS, Formatting the sd card and replacing the sd card but the problem persists.
The default location for app install is set to sd card and when I change it back to my pc the apps do install. What is error code 0x8007000b. And how do I get the apps to install on my sd card. Note: I don't want to install the apps to my device memory as I have only 10GB left.
Running Windows Update I sometimes get the following error other times I get no error): Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based Systems (KB3074219) - Error 0x8000fff.
The bottom line is it never finishes installing. Every time I boot to Windows 10 10130 it starts with finishing updates, then restarts. The only way to break the cycle of restarts is to reset my default boot in the dual-boot options back to the previous OS (I go back and forth between Windows 8.1 and 10 Preview).
After i installed build 11099 i get the message "Your Microsoft account need attention to get insider preview builds" when i click the "Fix Me" button i get error 0x80070005

View 1 RepliesI just tryed to install iTunes on my laptop and during the instalation occurred an error and after it finished, when clicking to open iTunes, this message pops:
I did use Winrar to extract the iTunes .exe file to a folder and there I got the appleaplicationsupport.exe that I needed to install. But when trying to install it, this error pops:
That translates as "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.".
I don't know what to do about it, nothing that I found on Google seems to work either.
Just upgraded from windows 7 pro to windows 10 Pro.
The upgrade appears to have gone well except for the error which I will describe below.
The symptoms: When attempting to install any software which requires administrator privileges, I am getting one of two errors.
More specifically, I was attempting to install "Speccy" to get more information about my hardware. I double clicked the installer and immediately received the following error: [URL] ....
I attempted a reboot, and then after that, I did a disk cleanup and basically checked everything including the previous versions of windows. Then I rebooted again and have still received the same error.
Now when attempting to install some other software I have either received the error I show above, OR I will sometimes get the following error: [URL] ....
I have done a bunch of googling and have found zero information about those errors or how to fix them, besides "reinstall windows" ...
I REALLY don't want to re-install windows, and would like to fix this problem without wiping out my current installation.
