Oct 8, 2015So while I am browsing the internet, playing a game or watching a movie my computer will randomly blue screen saying IRQL_UNEXPECTED_VALUE.

Nov 13, 2015I have recently upgrading to windows 10 on a fairly new machine, after doing so I have had regular BSOD (IRQL unexpected error), there doesn't seem to be much connection between them other than watching videos whilst online. When I got the first one I read a bug fix online which said to fix it either revert back to my previous OS (windows 8) or reinstall windows 10. I did the later thinking I could always revert back if that didn't work but alas it has now gotten rid of that option and the problem still persisted. I downloaded bluescreen view to work out that it was a problem with nwifi.sys driver, and so updated my wifi driver accordingly but the problem still persists.

Performance :: Unexpected Restarts But No BSOD
Nov 24, 2015Over the past 2 days I have experienced 4 (2 each day) shut downs and reboots. All while the PC has been idle for sometime while I'm working on another PC in the same room. Event log screen is attached but the bug check tab has no values.
The system is on a UPS and there have been no hardware changes in several months. I'm on Build 1150, V10586.11.

Jan 24, 2016Below is a Dropbox link to the minidumps from today. I use this machine to run my plex server and marketing software. I keep getting BSOD and cant seem to isolate the problem. A few of them seem to be related to Kaspersky.
I run high bandwidth intense programs with a bunch of threads (5,000+).
They system has 2 xenon e5506 with 32gb ram, CPU usage can sometimes hit the 100% mark for a few minutes but typical is stable around 60%. I recently downloaded and updated all drives/bios. I'm not sure if its too much processing at once that is causing the crashes, or if its a driver issues. Error I always get is IRQL related.

BSOD :: Random - Unexpected Storage Exception?
Nov 11, 2015While I was on youtube the other day, a random BSOD appeared saying "Unexpected Storage Exception", this is the first time I've ever seen this particular BSOD, but since seeing this error my computer will no longer boot up. The only thing it says when I try to boot it up is "Select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key". I have two drives in my pc, a 240 gb PNY ssd that houses my OS and a 2tb seagate hdd, I took out the ssd and put it into an external inclosure to see if the drive had crashed but it shows up on my laptop and doesn't appear to have crashed, so I'm unsure on what to do next.

Nov 10, 2015Sometimes I get the BSOD saying irql not less or equal. Sometimes I can restart it and it will boot normal. Sometimes it takes 20 times of restarting to finally go through. Not sure why it is happening but its not all the time and might go a month or two without it happening.

Dec 7, 2015I have a custom PC build and I have experienced 3 BSOD over the past maybe 2 months all being "UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. I have done some "research" (by that I mean googling) and lots of people say its Drivers. My system is fairly new (<1year). But I tested the memory when I got it with memtest and being DDR3 it failed the hammer test which most people say do not worry about. I have had some trouble once due to a weird error while installing an NVIDIA driver.

Apr 14, 2016Brand new Alienware 17 R3 and I get this BSOD probably 70% of the time on system start, restart, or awake from sleep. It only occurs once, after it has occurred it will never happen a second time in a row. All it says is the whole "IRQL Not Less OR Equal" thing, then reboots. I have followed the instructions in the sticky and attached the corresponding zip file.
I have already updated several things from the Dell site directly after trying some google research on the subject. In the last 24 hours I have updated the BIOS, sound drivers, touchpad drivers, video drivers (both onboard and for the 980M.) I also updated the wifi and LAN drivers from the Dell support site about a week ago shortly after getting the machine.

The laptop is a Dell E5550, newest drivers & bios update. I've run the command sfc /scannow; after the scan was completed, it showed that there were errors but none could be fixed. I copied the log...
Also I don't know if I can run the dism / restorehealth command, because we have our own image on the laptops, and I if I understand correctly this replaces the current image with a default Windows image? Or does it only extract the files needed to repair?

Aug 14, 2015I have this issue for about a month already. Starting with Windows 7 I thought the problem would resolve itself once I switched over to Windows 10. Sadly I was mistaken, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED BSOD occur every day when I startup my computer and try to watch a stream or video. After the computer rebooted it just crashes again (sometimes after I try to watch a stream/video and sometimes it freezes when I just open Google Chrome). It takes me 2-4 reboots every time until I can do anything on my computer.

Sep 20, 2015I am trying to sort out my Wife's pc which has recently started having BSOD's with the message Unexpected_Kernel_Mode_Trap and error code 0x7f. It happens during quiet times when nothing is being done on the pc. I have tested the memory using the Win 10 memory tester. That comes up all clear. I tried running sfc /scannow but when it got to 100%, the BSOD occurred. This happened 3 times consecutively.

Dec 16, 2015I was browsing internet and i suddenly got bsdod. Screen stopped responding and after few moments i got this blue screen.

BSOD :: Various Types Usually During Browsing / Gaming
Oct 26, 2015I upgraded recently to Windows 10, my computer has always had some random BSOD problems but now it's definitely worse, it used to be only while watching videos (on windows media player) then occasionally on gaming,
Now it even happens while browsing and the errors vary from one type to the other, no real constant. I read a bit online and I tried doing a verifier check but my CPU went into a blue screen bootloop so that didn't really solve my problem (had to reopen in safe mode and undo the colossal mess that was)
Not sure where else to go from there. I followed the guidelines and have uploaded a zip of the debug log, I sure hope that will give a good starting point...

Nov 4, 2015I have had an issue of my computer Blue screening multiple times over the past few weeks. The frequency has increased and I cannot replicate the issue on demand, it comes and goes by itself. The first time I noticed this was when my computer BSODed when I was streaming a video to my Chromecast. Once the computer restarted, it did not have any further issues. However, these past few days when I was browsing the net, my computer was BSOD on its own without really doing anything resource intensive. Is there any way this can be fixed? Aug 27, 2015I upgraded from 7 to 10 and began getting crashes when playing LoL and Fallout 3 and occasionally when sitting at the desktop.
I tried making a clean install and have subsequently had a few crashes.
1. After trying to install the Windows 7 sound driver (W10 not available)
2. After messing around with the playback device settings
3. While playing League of Legends
4. While on Chrome after restarting and finishing the LoL game in point 3

Nov 20, 2015My issue doesn't really happen while playing games. It happened once while I was in a game. I simply spend more time not playing games, so imo it makes sense that this crash happens while I'm not playing games. I don't know.
The primary display goes solid green and the secondary screen goes black. The audio - if playing - repeats the last few miliseconds of whatever was playing just before the screen changed.
e: I guess I should mention that this doesn't happen very frequently. Usually once every few days. The quickest it's been to repeat itself was when it happened two days in a row, but after that it didn't happen again until a few days later.
