Dec 4, 2015So far I've gotten it twice. Before I go through the work of returning and getting a new one I'm hoping it's an easy fix.

my pc was fine when i played it using windows 8, its jsut after upgrading to 10 this error has occurred. Here is the Debugg. Ive updated most of my drivers to Windows 10 and i doubt its a hardware thing as it as was fine before.

I just built a new PC:
MSI X99A Sli Plus
PSU Cooler Master V550
5820K
DDR4 32GB
Nvidia Quadro K2200
Samsung SM951 256 GB M.2 boot drive
I installed Windows 10 PRO, and played with it for some hours with no problems. I also run Intel XTU to stress it and all is good.
Now I want to connect the hard drives from my old PC but I have this problem: after a few minutes into windows or even at boot, the PC freezes with machine_check_exception blue screen - no numeric code at all.
I tried to connect an old WD 1TB disk, an old Maxtor 1TB disk and also with a brand new Samsung 850 EVO 1TB, these drives connected to different SATA ports each time.
When I detach all the drives apart of course the boot drive, the PC will start normally.
Later I tried to connect the new SSD (one SSD is M.2 boot disk, the other is SATA data disk) and I got into Windows, had the time to format the SSD data disk but then on the next boot I got the same problem.
Could it be some UEFI settings?
I can't install windows 10 on my desktop, every time I try it hands at 84% .
View 1 RepliesI have a 3 day out of the box, Asus Zenbook pro. I am getting the BSOD fairly regularly.
I have updated both display drivers from the manufacturers website, the WIFI driver, as well as the BIOS. Everything else was up to date. I have done a hard reset, and chose to have the drive wiped during the install.
I have installed, and uninstalled the few apps that I have had time to put on here, but after only 3 days, I don't think I have given myself time to narrow down if it is a software conflict.
I'm getting a bluescreen when gaming on my new GE62 2QD Apache Pro that I just got recently. The bccode is 0x0000009c and is apparently caused by hal.dll and the bug check exception is MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION according to bluescreen view. Not overclocking and I'm on windows 10.
View 1 Repliesafter installing windows 10 i have a problem with the computer when i start mozilla firefox the hello tab it ask fpr using camera and mircrofone then the laptop stop with the error kernel security check failure.
View 3 RepliesWindows 10 system thread exception not handled error, then it tries to restart because of the fault but instead it shuts down, then if you switch it on again it tries to start for a while but goes off, no way event if you keep on doing that.
View 1 RepliesStarted having BSOD/reboot problem yesterday. It seems to happen when the computer is idle and getting ready to turn off peripherals to enter sleep mode.
I uploaded the error log...
Not sure what happened. Bad Windows update perhaps?
I ran sfc /scannow and it didn't find any issues. I also ran the power troubleshooter and it didn't find anything.
Been recently encountering BSoDs with KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED when gaming, specifically the open beta of Monster Hunter Online. Happens after around 2 hours or so. Doesn't happen with other games and has not happened before.
Attached my minidump and required information.
Today I randomly received two BSODs, one with a System Service Exception error and the second with a Registry Error. The only thing I recently changed was installing a new game (Blade and Soul). Within that process I also updated DirectX.
View 1 RepliesThe issue with by BSOD is I don't know what it is triggered by, it happens when gaming, sometimes when I watch streams and other times when I just use my PC to browse reddit and other sites.

I've had several different error messages, but non of them are followed with any specifications about where the error is being generated. In chronological order:
Kernel Failure security check (Two times at random moments, until I tried to fix it, then the next errors at startup)
System Service exception
System Thread excetion not handled
Kmode exception not handled
The last two are now being displayed alternately every time I start the computer, until the advanced startup kicks in. I've been trying every step I founded online and it hasn't worked. I checked for errors in the memory and drives, and also runned a complete antivirus scan and a malware scan (Panda Free Anivirus 2016 and Malwarebytes), everything came out clean.
I am guessing that's something to do with faulty or corrupt drivers, since it works fine when is started on Safe Mode. Safe mode with Network, for some reason, won't enable the WiFi, and I don't have any other way to connect to the internet, so I can't let it check the drivers on it's own. I have tried downloading all the drivers in Acer's oficial page, but some are the same version or older than the ones I have installed. Others won't let me install them because the Windows Installer services is not enabled.
I have tried to repairing the installation and restarting it, but it throws an error message and does nothing. The next step for me it would be to return it to factory with windows 8.1, but I don't want to ignore an error that could appear again in the future, or that could get worse.
I have bought this laptop less than a month ago.

BSOD usually happens in more graphic intensive games like GTA5 or Elite: Dangerous. I haven't gotten it in games like League of Legends or Hearthstone, which are less intense.
2 most recent Minidump files and the debug file are attached below.

Finally got into safe mode through command prompt and was able to delete the driver from my Nvidia graphics card. Booted back up in normal mode and began the download for new driver. Then BSOD during installation.
View 4 RepliesI suffer from randomly appearing BSODs. Approximately twice a day all screens (laptop + external hdmi) goes blank, sound (hdmi) stops. Previously (like yesterday and the days before) it got stuck there, with black screen, sometimes with flickering mouse pointer appearing after a while. Today I got BSOD with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error.
I think it may be caused by the graphics drivers, since I wasn't able to install Intel Iris graphic drivers without disabling the nvidia optimus card in bios. Otherwise I got BSOD during Intel drivers installation with some error related to dxgkrnl (I don't remember exactly).
I was running my laptop on Win10 before without any issues (upgraded from Win8.1 using the tool downloaded from MS site), but after my SSD died, I did a clean install (from usb drive created by the same tool) and these problems started.
First off I'm on a fresh install of windows 10 x64 the latest Nov. build .... I was watching some streams on twitchtv just letting it play not doing anything else on the Pc after two hours of that the bsod occurred saying system_service_exception.
Bluescreenviewer stated a bug check code of 0x0000003b (video?). And highlighted the NTFS.sys+11b88 and ntoskrnl.exe+14cfe9 as the cause? I went and ran a disk check that passed same with sfc/scannow no problems found.

If I shutdown my computer using Start > Shutdown, I get at least one BSOD during the next boot-up; however, no BSODs occur if I use the physical power button.
The error is "Interrupt Exception Not Handled," and since it occurs during boot-up, nothing gets logged in Event Viewer.
Windows 10 Pro TH2 x64. What could it be?
So I got that BSOD and ran sfc.exe /scannow (with administrator) but the program was unable to repair the corrupt files. I am running Windows 10. I've attached the dump file as well.
View 1 RepliesI have build a new gaming rig and installed Windows 10 pro but I have been getting bsod's and cannot figure out what is going on. I had it overclocked but since removed the overclock to trouble shoot the bsod. I have also run memtestx86 for 9 passes and no errors there. So I am reaching out for solving the bsod the particular bsod that is coming up is System_Service_Exception.
View 3 RepliesSince I upgraded from Win8.1 to 10 I had a few BSOD problems, first one was power related but If I keep my laptop plugged to ac it doesn't occures so I tryied to make a clean win10 installation and now it is even worse! Each time I try to run Photoshop CC it gives me back BSOD Kernel Security Check Failure.

I had the above message on the Blue Screen and when it automatically rebooted, it rebooted 4 times before going into a black screen. I have a (crappy), fairly new Dell Inspiron 3520. I was running Windows 10 on it (yes, I was stupid enough to install it on a laptop that wasn't tested by Dell for Windows 10, that's pretty much my life). It's been fine up until today when that happened.
View 2 RepliesToday I'm getting a series of BSOD's after the installation of drivers for laptop from manufacturer's website. It usually randomly happens when I try to install or uninstall a program.
View 4 RepliesI have been getting the been getting the above error for the last week. I have followed the instructions and have a debug file: debug-NEMESIS-25_12_2015_102204_20.zip
View 1 RepliesI recently started having a whole bunch of BSOD's with the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error.
I had these as I was attempting to use my laptop while I was burning DVDs (I burned about 20 or so over the last 3 days). This error happened maybe 5 or 6 times over those few days. This error happened most times on A/C power but once on battery power.
I have also had this crash occur while using photoshop on battery power (and while burning DVD's).
If using photoshop on battery power, I sometimes get BSOD's with the error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. And this was often when I wasn't doing anything else on the computer.
I used the tool (as instructed in this forum) to create the required files for posting. I have attached two of them as I believe one may be invalid. The minidump file is fairly large (over 700 MB), so I believe this may be why it isn't attaching correctly...
Some reading I have done on the Internet shows this to potentially be an Nvidia driver/service/something problem. I am planning on uninstalling my graphics drivers + software and then reinstalling them, to see if that fixes the issue...
For no sure reason sometimes she gets a BSOD with no error code. Also, she gets error saying something like 'the integrated graphic card driver had a malfunction and was restored'. (It's not a literal message, because the OS is in Russian). Getting latest driver (since 08/2015) for Intel from the Acer website didn't work because (as the owner says) the OS rerolls it back to a previous one.
