I have recently built a new gaming/development machine for my self and have been Page fault in non-paged area on Blue screening.

I was playing Skyforge for a couple hours. I had some programs running in the back like firefox, skype, steam etc. I was reading something through firefox and as soon as I tabbed back into Skyforge the BSOD occurred.
I was running Windows 7 Home Premium before and ever since I upgraded to Win 10 I've been missing 3 drivers of Unknown Devices. I don't know if this is related to the BSOD though.

I recently built a new computer. Sadly its been plagued with game crashes and BSODs. Initially I assumed that I had installed the drivers incorrectly and that was the source of my problems. Yet even going into safe mode, deleting all of the drivers, and reinstalling the problem still persisted. Thus leaving me a tad peeved and confused.

I built my PC around august of this year and generally the machine runs fine. Lately though I've gotten BSOD several times in these past few days. It usually happens when I'm playing a game (Warframe if the name matters) and the crash will say the usual "something happened need to restart yada yada", the errors however are different sometimes.
At first I got IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL then I got SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and some others I can't remember off the top of my head. As I was writing this actually it crashed once more so it's not exclusive to crashing while playing a game. I also uninstalled the game and then reinstalled a week back but that was with steam's verify integrity of cache option. Because the crashes started occurring after the game was verified I decided to completely uninstall then reinstall it.
Again the computer crashed, this time with a FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE error. Anyways I do have the crash dump files but how to locate the source of the problem...

Also, after the first 3 crashes I opened my motherboard provided update tool and updated the BIOS and some other drivers, the crashes continued to happen though, there are two updates for the Intel LAN driver and AsRock LAN driver that don't seem to update, they'll download and install but when the program refreshes the update list, the same two drivers say they need to update to the version that I technically just updated them to. Don't know if that's a related issue at all, got another crash too, included the dump file in the list above also. As the crashes occur I'll add more dumps to the dropbox folder.

I worked with my friend install windows 10 on his desktop pc. but after installation, it wont boot, rather showing bsod error 0xc000021a, we have tried reinstalling for a couple of times, but the error persisted. BTW, the previous os was windows 7. We deleted the previous OS's partition and installed it there, but it seems like nothing happened.

View 9 RepliesSo, new computer, was using Windows 7 and getting BSODs constantly. So I decided to make a clean install with Windows 10 and thought the issue was resolved, clearly not the case.
I will be uploading the last mini dump, but let me already tell you that more than one error code happened (more than one BSOD).
I used the forum's guide to collect the mini dump information. The dump archives I got from the Windows folder are huge, I guess we are not going to use that, am I right?
I am suspecting it to be some Hard Disk issue or RAM memory. One of the messages I could capture was "Kmode_Exception_Not_Handled".

I had a pretty much faultless Win 10 setup with all the latest patches installed then this morning I connected an external USB hard drive which I had used several times before but this time Windows said it needed to install a new driver. I let the driver install and then Windows stated it needed a restart to complete the installation.
When restarting I received the "Inaccessible_Boot_Device error message - Windows will restart for you" message. On restarting again I got: "Your PC couldn't start properly. Error code 0xc0000001." Windows tried to automatically repair itself displaying the Diagnosing message first and then Attempting Repair message, and finally reporting it could not fix the problem. I'm not sure if the new driver being installed created the problem or whether it was just a coincidence and something else has caused the fault.
I was able to boot to Recovery using a USB stick created with Microsoft's MediaCreationTool. Safe boot and all the other startup options didn't do anything apart from resulting in yet another failed boot. Getting to the command line, I was able to view the file that Windows creates when it tries to repair itself: c:windowssystem32logfilessrtsrttail.txt. That file shows that all tests were completed successfully until:
"Root cause found. A patch is preventing the system from starting
Repair action system files integrity check and repair
Result failed error code 0x490"
I tried: sfc /scannow and got:
"Verification 100% complete, Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation"
I then tried sfc /verifyonly and got:
"Windows resource protection found integrity violations. Details are included in the cbs.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios."
As the message suggested, no cbs.log files were created.
I have tried:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
which all complete successfully but doesn't work.
Also tried chkdsk which didn't find any errors and:
bootsect /nt60 ALL
which again seems to complete successfully but doesn't work.
Recently after getting a fresh install of windows 10 on my ThinkPad T450s, I occasionally get BSOD while in the middle of doing various tasks (word processing, web browsing, onenote, etc.). Because of the fresh install, I downloaded many applications so I don't know what's causing the issue. The error code is 0xdead039e, but I couldn't find any information about it online.

For no sure reason sometimes she gets a BSOD with no error code.Also, she gets error saying something like 'the integrated graphic card driver had a malfunction and was restored'. (It's not a literal message, because the OS is in Russian). Getting latest driver (since 08/2015) for Intel from the Acer website didn't work because (as the owner says) the OS rerolls it back to a previous one.
View 1 RepliesEver since I upgraded to Windows 10, I've gotten one or more BSODs (KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE) on practically every startup. I'll boot, log in, and start using the computer for about two minutes before I get a BSOD. It happens even if I'm not logged in as well. Most of the time, this will happen on multiple consecutive boots until it either stops for some reason, or Windows boots into its recovery options (only after three BSODs in a row).
Interestingly enough, when I remain on the recovery screen for an extended period of time and reboot, I don't get the BSOD again and can boot successfully. The crashes are caused mostly by ntoskrnl.exe with occasional assistance from dxgkrnl.exe. As I understand, this error is caused by incompatible drivers, but I'm not quite sure how to approach the issue since both of those files appear to be system files (NT Kernel & DirectX).

After I upgraded to Windows 10 I have been getting BSODs at when either watching videos in VLC or playing mainly World of Warcraft. The primary BSOD I have been getting is the bad_pool_header which first occurred a week after upgrading and was seemingly a random occurrence. Subsequent BSODs would occur at least every other day, if not longer apart, and I didn't think much of it. However, I experienced two bad_pool_header errors today within 4 hours of each other, both while watching videos in VLC with some web browsing so I am believing that it is a more serious error than random crashes.

I am trying to sort out my Wife's pc which has recently started having BSOD's with the message Unexpected_Kernel_Mode_Trap and error code 0x7f. It happens during quiet times when nothing is being done on the pc. I have tested the memory using the Win 10 memory tester. That comes up all clear. I tried running sfc /scannow but when it got to 100%, the BSOD occurred. This happened 3 times consecutively.

After I uninstalled catalyst control centre (because I was having problems with it). When I restarted my mouse and keyboard weren't working. So I tried a ps2 kb and mouse and this worked. I went to device manager a looked at the USB devices, all of them had a yellow warning sign next to the devices. I checked each one and they all had error 39 (missing or corrupted drivers). I tried updating and uninstalling the devices with no avail. How can I fix this?
View 1 RepliesI have a client that has a Microsoft Surface Pro. It has a BSOD error code 0xc0000001. I have tried many ways to repair but I am unable to since Bitlocker has locked the hard drive. The client swears they never activated it and does not know the code to unlock. They did not have a microsoft account so I cant go that route. How to unlock hard drive without the bitlocker code?

I upgraded to W10 a few weeks ago from W7. All went well.
Then 2 days ago i got the windows error code oxc000021a, and the computer wouldn't start. Couldn't get into safe mode, and repair didn't work either. Really annoying. I've had to reinstall windows 7. I can still see my windows 10 old install saved under windows.old.
I don't have any option yet to re-upgrade to W10, despite putting all the updates on W7 again. What can I do to get W10 again and recover my data from windows.old?
Whenever I try to install a new version of some software I get the following message: "movefile failed code 183".

Any fix that actually works so i don't have to try 100 things. The only thing to note is i have two drives, one is an ssd which is where my current windows is installed and its path is E, not C, just wondering if that may be the problem.
I have been having trouble with BSOD's with increasing frequency. I have provided links to four dmp files. I would post more, but they don't seem to save themselves even if i let the computer stay on until it hits 100%.

My rambles, if at all useful: With some of the errors I've gotten from my BSOD's and my game, I could see the issue possibly having to do with bad memory, but it is just a theory. There's also a very good chance that my integrated Intel graphics or my discrete Nvidia graphics could be causing the issues, cause they did cause BSOD's in the past. Though, as axe0 suggested in my old thread, I disabled my Nvidia graphics so there would be no conflict between the two. This did work for a little while, but as said earlier, I'm now having issues again, even with Nvidia disabled.
So I started playing cs:go and while I'm in a gun fight the blue screen pops up and says kernel_security_check_failure ... How can I fix this?

I get the error "Code 80200013" when I try to upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10 from my reserved upgrade through Windows Update.
