BSOD :: System Restarts During Graphically Intensive Games
Jan 3, 2016
Recently my PC has been restarting after around an hour, when playing any graphically intensive games.-It has never crashed when just using the internet, idle etc. Only when playing games has it happened.-I have tested the RAM, CPU, GPU using benchmarking and HDD is an SSD.-I have tried a clean install of Windows 10.-My OS and drivers are up to date.-I also monitored my temps when in game and they are running normal when the crash happens. The system will hang for a few seconds and my headphones give off a loud buzzing. The PC will then restart after a few seconds but none of the fan or component lights go off like it is losing power.

I just built a new PC and for some reason when I'm playing graphically intensive games (like subnautica, Gta5, Dying Light, etc) after maybe 15 minutes to an hour both of my monitors shut off, sometimes i can hear the game running still in the background and sometimes I can't, it is clear that the computer is still up because I can hear the windows sound effects. The game doesn't run poorly before it the monitors turn off or anything, It doesn't even seem hot at all when it shuts down. I've tried to turn the idle time for the monitors to never turn off, updating everything, and basically everything I can think of that may cause this to happen. But I have no clue how to fix it.
I have:
NVIDIA Gtx970
i74770k
1600 Mb of RAM
Windows 10 Pro full version
Hydro H60 Liquid Cooling

Yesterday (12/7/15) I got on steam to play some games with a friend and about 5 seconds into starting CS:GO my computer screen turns black, and it restarts, with no error/crash message.
Earlier today I got fed up with this so I decided to wipe my computer and do a clean install of Win.10 but the problem still persists. I mean the computer runs really quickly now, but the second I play any game, or compress anything it crashes, and restarts.
How can I stop/fix this issue?

Upgraded from Windows 8.1 Pro to 10 Pro. I think I took care of the update bug so I don't believe it is the issue.
Updated GForce Drivers after using DisplayDriverUninstaller.
SSD C: Drive firmware updated.
Ran Memtest86+ on each stick for 8 passes with no errors.
Updated audio drivers.
Updated network drivers.
Updated SATA drivers.
Ran Windows Defender Full Scan with no findings.
Ran Malwarebytes Full Scan with no findings.
It happens when I play games. I ran one 3DMark test with no issues. Ran it again and it reset as it normally does. I ran Furmark for 5 mins with no issue.

I recently installed a new hard drive into my system. It began to crash with the System_Service_Exception error. I decided that since I was going to reinstall windows on a SSD anyways, I might as well do it now. So I reinstalled windows on a solid state and everything was fine for a day until it started crashing again. I am really not sure what to do as I do not know much about blue screens and stuff. Ok . I am getting random system lockups, can happen anytime. Sometimes using when using chrome or just on desktop. Happens most often when windows is on login screen, or sometime right before windows loads. Playing any game I have will cause crash to desktop. Crash time varies from game loading screen to playing game for a few minutes.
So far I have reinstalled windows 3 times. I have replaced motherboard because it crashed during bios update, thus ruining mobo, tried different power supply also. After installing windows I have installed latest drivers that I could find, didnt seem to make any difference from the drivers that were loaded when windows was first installed. I did notice that after I installed pc matic I got constant BSOD, So I uninstalled it. fewer BSOD But still have lockups and game crashes.
I have ran memtest for 24 hours with no errors, also ran tests on ssd and hdd drives with no errors.

This weekend I had several BSODs while playing games. 2 times the system simply crashed black screen and restarted, 1 time I received a BSOD MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error, and 2 times I received a BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN error and a restart.
The MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and one black screen crash occurred while playing Forged Alliance Supreme Commander, then the IRQL errors and a black screen crash occurred while playing Steam version of Age of Empires II.
DM Log Collector file is attached.....

I have multiple PC's running W10 v1511. For some reason at least one of them and I suspect more than one will automatically restart after it has been shutdown. The restart does not occur immediately, in fact, it is several hours before the magic happens! The reason I know it's happening is the system will be in a sleep state when I check it in the morning after I know I shut it down the night before. The PC in question is the one that I have described in my system specs. I know all about the "Wake On" settings in the in the Intel network controller. I have them all turned off (unchecked) but that only effects the system when in sleep mode? Is there some other setting that could be causing the system to refuse to stay shutdown?

It's not a malware , it's not a heat problem . I checked them both and formatted my computer 4 times already, I am pretty tired . The last options remain is a windows 10 problem /hardware is not connected well? . My windows 10 is not a legal copy .
My computer suddenly completely restarts suddenly, even when IDLE .No warning involved , goes straight to black screen .
System error :

Over the past 2 days I have experienced 4 (2 each day) shut downs and reboots. All while the PC has been idle for sometime while I'm working on another PC in the same room. Event log screen is attached but the bug check tab has no values.
The system is on a UPS and there have been no hardware changes in several months. I'm on Build 1150, V10586.11.
Attached is the dump of the log files as well.

My laptop keeps freezing randomly, and seconds later it restarts itself. I'm pretty sure this problem started when i upgraded to windows 10. It use to happen every once in awhile but now it happens several times a day while i am on a browser or doing anything on the computer. I barely have anything installed on it and its fairly new, i bought it earlier this year. I did a scan with AVG and nothing showed up. It doesn't heat up either. I also updated windows 10 to its latest version and also updated the AMD drivers as well. Should i try to reinstall windows 10?
This is the laptop i have: ASUS Laptop R510DP-WH11 AMD A10-Series A10-5750M (2.50 GHz) 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD AMD Radeon HD 8670M 15.6" Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Windows 10 x64
When the laptop is turned on, a BSOD appears with SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.
It automatically restarts after around 5 seconds. F8 does nothing.
I have booted with a Windows 10 USB flash drive and it shows Preparing automatic repair before showing the BSOD again.

I would get a black screen for a few moments, before the computer just restarts. No BSOD, no screen tearing or strange noises from the case, no indication whatsoever that it was about to restart. So I started trying to figure out what was wrong. Using Bluescreenviewer and WhoCrashed? I found out that it was a 0x124 error citing the ntoskrnl at fault. Reading online, it seemed that this was generally caused by either a thermal issue, hardware problem or in some cases driver problems.
I started updating everything I could. Graphics drivers, mouse drivers, keyboard drivers, BIOS drivers, etc. Still got the restarts. They seemed to be appearing only when I was playing games (don't use this particular PC for much else, so took a while to realize), so I decided to check thermal issues. Using MSI Afterburner and CPU-Z, I found that my CPU was never reaching any significant heat (my Hyper 212 EVO keeps it under or around 40C even under heavy load), and that while my graphics card got hot, it never went beyond 70, so it didn't seem to be a thermal issue there.I ran memtest86 to try to identify ram issues, and it came back, after a night of running, clean. I did a dskcheck /r, and while it took a bit of time, it too came back alright. In order to truly rule out driver issues, i reinstalled windows 10, and still it kept happening.
I read online that there was a chance that the power supply could be acting up. Since I had been meaning to update my graphics card, and needed a new power supply to go with it, I decided to do that. I plugged in my new PSU, and my new GPU, and it went fine for about a day or two before the restarting resumed. I tried playing with the case side open, to truly rule out cooling issues, and it still restarted. I moved the computer, and plugged it straight into the wall because I had a suspicion that maybe the extra cable wasn't giving it enough juice, but it still restarted.
I'm now at my wits end. I've tried everything I can think of. My new GPU never goes to high temps, my CPU seems to be running fine, I haven't found any ram memory problems, my new PSU can't be to blame, and so I don't know whats left.
Tl;dr
Restarts started after some inactive time. Seems to be a 0x124 bsod error
Tried the following:
-update all drivers
-update BIOS
-re-roll to previous versions of graphics drivers
-re-install windows 10
-purchase new PSU and GPU
-memtest86 came back ok
-dskcheck /r came back ok
-tried playing with side off
MSI never shows the CPU or GPU going into any dangerous territory in terms of temps.

I have an ASUS Desktop PC M11AD Series computer with an Intel core i5. I am running windows 10 Home on my computer and ever since I got Windows 10, It has been randomly restarting. It will restart while doing simple tasks, like using Google Chrome, or using Skype. I have tried to monitor what apps cause the restarts, but it is extremely random. I upgraded my computer 2-3 weeks ago, and it is starting to get on my nerves. I have switched my browser to Microsoft Edge and it has been working fine.
When this occurs, my computer will freeze for about 5-10 seconds, and then it will to a regular restart. Sometimes when it boots back up it says "Windows is updating" and sometimes nothing. I have disabled auto updates on my computer and I just can't seem to find the problem. Sometimes it will freeze in chunks like 3 seconds, it works for 1 second and then 4 seconds and then restarts. My friend also has Windows 10, but his doesn't restart. I can't find out what build I'm on, and I upgraded when Windows said I could upgrade.

I have tried to upgrade from win7 to win10 after copying the files and the system restarts, I will get the error 0xc000000f. I have both win7 and win10 disks and the automatic repair would not work.
Apparently this has to to with some bios settings, I have tried to follow the guide but I do not have all the options to described in the guide below.

Ive been getting about one or two blue screens over the last two or three days. I read there was a cumulative update to pc windows 10. I dont know what changed but icons and symbols in the action center are not being graphically rendered on the desktop. I cannot see the edge icon on the task tray, but there is a space for it and there's an app there I can click on. What's going on?

I have been having an issue for a few weeks now where my computer will BSOD or freeze whenever I play certain games.
At first I thought it was a specific game (Xcom 2) that was doing it, but it has since started happening while playing other games that didn't have that issue in the past (One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 and Sonic Racing Transformed).
I included the file as requested on the posting instructions.
Note I ran the program today, but I havent had a crash since yesterday so I am unsure if the information will be there? If necessary I can run Xcom 2 for a while to force a crash, but for obvious reasons I would prefer not to if it isn't needed.

So I get those crashes where my screen freezes and then goes dark ( lost signal). It happens at random with Blade and Soul , and happens every 5 minutes with World of Warcraft.
This started like 2 months ago before that the screen would just flash and I'd get the "display driver stopped responding and recovered".
Yesterday ( 02/16/2016) I got 5 crashes and I got 1 today.
What I already tried:
A lot of different versions of AMD drivers ( using DDU to install the new ones)
Reset windows 10 on a lot of occasions
Removed Windows 10 auto updater.
Tried the amd support forums ( it only made matters worse)
Tried the World of warcraft support forums ( also only made matters worse)
Here is the dump file:
