I just bought a new Western Digital 1tb black series HDD today and it started off just fine, installed W10 and started downloading my various programs and games that i use. but shortly after i started i got a BSOD with the error "system_service_exception". I am not sure what caused it but i have minidump files. These are happening every 1.5-2hrs now.
I dont know where i could upload the minidump.
Not sure if this will work but i uploaded it to my dropbox : [URL] ....
I recently installed a new hard drive into my system. It began to crash with the System_Service_Exception error. I decided that since I was going to reinstall windows on a SSD anyways, I might as well do it now. So I reinstalled windows on a solid state and everything was fine for a day until it started crashing again. I am really not sure what to do as I do not know much about blue screens and stuff. View 9 RepliesStarted having BSOD/reboot problem yesterday. It seems to happen when the computer is idle and getting ready to turn off peripherals to enter sleep mode.
I uploaded the error log...
Not sure what happened. Bad Windows update perhaps?
I ran sfc /scannow and it didn't find any issues. I also ran the power troubleshooter and it didn't find anything.
Today I randomly received two BSODs, one with a System Service Exception error and the second with a Registry Error. The only thing I recently changed was installing a new game (Blade and Soul). Within that process I also updated DirectX.
View 1 RepliesBSOD usually happens in more graphic intensive games like GTA5 or Elite: Dangerous. I haven't gotten it in games like League of Legends or Hearthstone, which are less intense.
2 most recent Minidump files and the debug file are attached below.

I suffer from randomly appearing BSODs. Approximately twice a day all screens (laptop + external hdmi) goes blank, sound (hdmi) stops. Previously (like yesterday and the days before) it got stuck there, with black screen, sometimes with flickering mouse pointer appearing after a while. Today I got BSOD with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error.
I think it may be caused by the graphics drivers, since I wasn't able to install Intel Iris graphic drivers without disabling the nvidia optimus card in bios. Otherwise I got BSOD during Intel drivers installation with some error related to dxgkrnl (I don't remember exactly).
I was running my laptop on Win10 before without any issues (upgraded from Win8.1 using the tool downloaded from MS site), but after my SSD died, I did a clean install (from usb drive created by the same tool) and these problems started.
First off I'm on a fresh install of windows 10 x64 the latest Nov. build .... I was watching some streams on twitchtv just letting it play not doing anything else on the Pc after two hours of that the bsod occurred saying system_service_exception.
Bluescreenviewer stated a bug check code of 0x0000003b (video?). And highlighted the NTFS.sys+11b88 and ntoskrnl.exe+14cfe9 as the cause? I went and ran a disk check that passed same with sfc/scannow no problems found.

So I got that BSOD and ran sfc.exe /scannow (with administrator) but the program was unable to repair the corrupt files. I am running Windows 10. I've attached the dump file as well.
View 1 RepliesI have build a new gaming rig and installed Windows 10 pro but I have been getting bsod's and cannot figure out what is going on. I had it overclocked but since removed the overclock to trouble shoot the bsod. I have also run memtestx86 for 9 passes and no errors there. So I am reaching out for solving the bsod the particular bsod that is coming up is System_Service_Exception.
View 3 Repliesdriver_verifier_iomanager_violation BSOD loop on starup, it's even worse now. This time my BSOD came from having chrome open while rendering in Premiere. It would do this every time so I turned off chrome while rendering and I wouldn't get any. I never had any problems with games. I did notice Chrome would stutter with Facebook open but nothing else would cause issues. The last render I did rendered out. I then opened chrome and my computer froze. I tried to boot in and it froze after I loaded in to the desktop. I then set the BIOS to default settings and turned off AMD cool and quiet and AMD turbo. Now after the ASUS splash loading screen pops up, it goes to a black screen. Rebooting a million times and trying to repair did not work. The other monitor doesn't even get a signal. Leaving the computer off with no power for awhile did not work either which always fixed it before. checking the disks everything seemed fine. Safe mode blue screens everytime too within a minute if it even boots up to begin with.
View 9 RepliesEvery time I try to join a wifi network, my computer crash within a few seconds. It says "system service exception" igdkmd64.sys in the bsod. So I just cant connect to the internet anymore.. im on my phone right now.
Windows 10 from win7

This evening I did a clean install after experiencing other problems. I got 10 installed and up and running fine; let me be clear, as far as I know, everything was working just fine. The first thing I installed was Chrome. No sooner had I got Chrome synced with my Google account, I got a BSOD citing "System_Service_Exception (ks.sys)" and it rebooted.
After that, every time it booted back up, within seconds of getting to the login page the same BSOD occurred. I've done some googling and I can't find a report quite like this nor any solution. I'm a big fan of Windows and I do really like 10 when it works, but I'm getting very close to reverting back to 8.1.
I had also plugged in a USB drive around the same time as installing Chrome but did not access it, if that is relevant.
I just built a new computer and have been randomly getting this error message from time to time...and sometimes have trouble even getting the computer back to the Desktop without hitting the blue screen again....if I'm on the desktop and it happens it usually says (atikmdag.sys) at the end...sounds like a graphics card issue, however I have the latest drivers for the card (non beta)...when attempting a restart to fix and it hits blue screen right after that bit at the end is not there...here are comp. specs
Motherboard - MSI 760GMA-P34 (FX)
CPU - AMD 8320E
GPU - ASUS R7 360
RAM - Avexir Blitz 1.1 - 16gb 1866mhz (dual channel)
HDD - WD 1tb blue
Power - Corsair CX600M
OS - Windows 10 Home
I have some possible theories: The RAM may be causing issues...Avexir does not use the more common Samsung chips I don't think and has (Intel optimized) all over the packaging...I will try swapping G-Skill RAM from another comp soon to test this
Also I didn't realize at the time but the motherboard has no drivers from MSI past windows 7...could that be causing issues?...
And of course there's that ending on some of the blue screens indicating a graphics car issue...could the latest drivers for Windows 10 on a GPU be creating issues on a board with no Windows 10 drivers?
Okay so I have been having some blue screen issues. I have tried many troubleshooting solutions but I cannot seem to find out what is causing these issues and I need a hand. Minidump info included in link. Ran memtest today with 8 passes 0 Errors.
View 8 RepliesWindows 10 system thread exception not handled error, then it tries to restart because of the fault but instead it shuts down, then if you switch it on again it tries to start for a while but goes off, no way event if you keep on doing that.
View 1 RepliesThe issue with by BSOD is I don't know what it is triggered by, it happens when gaming, sometimes when I watch streams and other times when I just use my PC to browse reddit and other sites.

Finally got into safe mode through command prompt and was able to delete the driver from my Nvidia graphics card. Booted back up in normal mode and began the download for new driver. Then BSOD during installation.
View 4 RepliesToday, I finally went through with the free Windows 10 upgrade. After the upgrade concluded, my laptop worked fine for about an hour, after which time it crashed to the new and improved Windows 10 BSOD, informing me that they would restart my computer for me. The problem is that, after the initial ACER screen, in which I can press F2 to enter setup, a Windows Automatic Repair screen comes up, and shortly thereafter, crashes right back to the BSOD. It will do this 5 or 6 times before giving up and staying shut down. I cannot press F8 or Shift+F8 to enter safe mode at any point.
Now, when I press F2 to enter the set up screen, I am given the following 5 screens, in order:
As far as I can tell, with an admitted lack of expertise, there does not appear to be any way for me to access the BIOS to at least get to safe mode, and perhaps go back to a restore point.
I had the above message on the Blue Screen and when it automatically rebooted, it rebooted 4 times before going into a black screen. I have a (crappy), fairly new Dell Inspiron 3520. I was running Windows 10 on it (yes, I was stupid enough to install it on a laptop that wasn't tested by Dell for Windows 10, that's pretty much my life). It's been fine up until today when that happened.
View 2 RepliesMy computer was just fine and today I turn on my computer and a blue screen says "your pc ran into a problem. We'll restart for you. Error: system thread exception not handled"
How do I fix this and get my computer back? I don't even know how to get into safe mode.
Installed Windows 10 (free) off Microsoft over Windows 7 home premium. System rebooted, started opening windows 10 and I received an error about system ra into a problem and needs to reboot.
Error was System_Thread_Exception_Not_Handled. After about 20 reboots and same problem error, gave up. Can't get into my system!
Several weeks ago I booted my computer and had a bsod on the windows logo. Spent several hours trying to find anything before just nuking and reinstalling. It just happened again and I might cry. Bsod on every boot, including safe mode and automatic repair.
Best guess is it is video driver related, but I can't get in to uninstall. Both times it was the most up to date drivers available. I've disabled the discrete video card via bios. Last time I had to pop out the hd and mount it on my desktop to recover files and wipe.
Windows 10 pro
Acer Aspire 5560G
Upgraded to Win 10 from 8.1 recently and it was working fine. This morning when I tried to boot it won't. Stays stuck in a 'your PC ran into a problem' loop and shows a 'system thread exception not handled' error.
I hadn't got a chance to create a recovery disk (the Internet tells me I need this to be able restore without losing my files and data).
I have a Win 7 laptop which I'm typing this on but which hasn't received its Win 10 update so that I can create a recovery disk on it.
I updated to Windows 10 last week from 8.1 on my Samsung laptop. The update went fine but the restart left me with the message "System THread Exception Not Handled". The only way to get my computer to reboot was to restore it to the original 8.1 version.
I am brave so I decided to try the upgrade again this morning following the "must do" steps for after the upgrade as outlined in this article: How to 10 things to do after installing Windows 10 - Microsoft Community
The upgrade went quicker this time but with when restarted I got the same message. The only difference this time is the fact that I had created a new restore point after the upgrade. so I am still in Windows 10. I checked for all the updates, drivers, etc and found nothing new. I am set to reboot at 3:00 am tomorrow and am fearful that I will have the same result again.
Today I've upgraded win 8.1 on my laptop Acer 5738DG to win10. Whole installation passed w/o issues and upon finalization of installation lappy shutdown itself and each boot end with BSOD "system thread exception not handled".
Even when I'm trying to start clean install from boot-usb it wont load installation but always end up with BSOD.
